It's in the Food Court in the Annapolis Mall.

Excellent cheesesteak. The right white cheese, great peppers. The bun's slightly smaller in diameter than, say, a Subway or Jerry's sub, but it's really tasty. I also have their bacon cheese fries a try. Very good too- real bacon bits, but the cheese had a texture and taste like it was from a can. Not bad, just not ideal. Again, still tasty. I'd have it again!

Finally a decent cheesesteak in the area. It's not Tony Luke's, but it's the best you'll find in the area outside of Philly.

I actually came Thursday morning and ended up leaving because the line was long. I didn't have time to wait just to order and then wait again for food. On Friday, I did it the smarter way and ordered ahead online, then picked up from the Mad Eggs food truck in the rear, which worked out way better. I went for breakfast and ordered a scrapple, egg, and cheese biscuit ($10) and breakfast tots ($4.25). The order took about 20 minutes, which honestly wasn't bad considering how packed it was around 9:00 a.m. I even noticed people waiting in their cars before heading up to the truck, so the timing felt realistic given the volume. If I had more time, I would've waited without an issue. Food-wise, everything was good, but I had mixed feelings. The biscuit sandwich tasted fine, but for $10, I expected more. It wasn't loaded, and at that price point it just didn't quite make sense to me--I know that sounds sarcastic, but it's hard not to compare when it's a simple scrapple, egg, and cheese. The breakfast tots, on the other hand, were the better deal. I liked these a lot. The portion made more sense for the price, and I really liked that you're encouraged to customize them. That part was right up my alley. With all the topping options, I do wish they offered a sauce or gravy option (like sausage or country gravy), but even without that, this is something I'd order again and again. The coffeehouse itself is small but clean and quaint, with a few tables. Parking out front is very limited--maybe five cars--but there's more space in the back near the food truck, and there's a rear entrance, which is probably the best move. Staff was friendly and efficient, and even from inside you can tell things are run pretty smoothly. I don't drink coffee, so I can't speak to that side much, but I've had food brought home from here before by my wife and really enjoyed the matcha tea smoothie in the past. Overall, I'd definitely return. I think Rise Up does a good job in general, and I've enjoyed their Severna Park and downtown Annapolis locations before. I just expected more out of a $10 biscuit sandwich--but I'd happily come back for the tots and other menu items.

We got the western omelette which came with a side of pico. Be warned, that includes fresh jalapeño which my husband enjoyed but would have killed me (ha!). He also added a side pancake instead of potatoes which he said was really good. High praise as he's very picky about his pancakes. I got the Maryland crab omelette which was delicious. The table included a shaker of old bay which was a nice touch. Coffee was decent. We also got one each of their daily special muffins to go (pecan pie and coffee cake) but we haven't eaten them yet. Will def be back if we're ever in this part of town.

My only real complaint is the hours; they're only open to 1pm (1:30pm mostly, but it was shortened by a half hour during the summer, from what the note said). The food continues to be good, your standard breakfast fare mostly. There are dishes beyond that, but it generally fits the brunch mood. The décor is fine; place is always clean, furnishings look well kempt. The service was also great. We arrived around 12:45 and they sat us without any hesitation. (No calls of "well, we're closing soon...") The prices are very affordable, especially compared to similar sit-down establishments. Plus, you shouldn't be leaving hungry! You get what feels like a field's worth of potatoes per order! LOL! This isn't a complaint, more of a note: the location might be hard to see from the road. It's in the same shopping center as the PetSmart, but it's tucked away in the back. If you can see the PetSmart, you're nearly there, just keep looking towards the far end of that little strip of shops. It's in the second building tucked away in the corner. Again, not a complaint, just a heads up. It's a great alternative to fast food greasy food and the other chains of diner-like offerings. Quaint, cozy, and well worth the value for your breakfast buck.

No wait to order, and the food took maybe about 5 minutes to come out while it was being made. On my 2 visits I ordered sandwiches: a Turkey Reuben (my favorite of the 2) and a Corned Beef Pastrami Reuben, both with Russian dressing, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut. Each came with fries, coleslaw, and a dill pickle. The portions were on point -- definitely a lot of food for the price -- and the quality really stood out. Everything tasted fresh and well put together, and the menu has a really big selection, which is always a plus. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the place itself was very clean. Noise level was moderate, lighting was good with a mix of natural and fluorescent light. There is seating available, but from what I've seen, most people grab their food and go. The location is convenient too, sitting right around the corner from Annapolis High School. Overall, I don't really have anything negative to say -- I like it just how it is. I've already recommended it to several people and would definitely come back again. This place is a gem.
