Stumbled across this place on Instagram, and wow--I'm so glad I took a chance on it. The line being out the door right at opening was my first sign that this spot was going to be good, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Everything is made to order, reasonably priced, and incredibly fresh. There's no indoor seating, so if you're not local, eating in your car is your best bet--but honestly, it's worth it. Every bite was delicious, and I find myself thinking about this place often. Would love to see a location come to Southern Maryland someday!

We wanted to beat the crowds so we arrived right before it opened for the day. The space is small but very clean. There were plenty of cooks on the line preparing for the crowd. They were anxiously looking out the door in anticipation of a crowd. There were already people parked awaiting the open sign. We were fortunate to be second in line. They took our order quickly. The wait was less than ten minutes. My sub was well seasoned, I enjoyed how they incorporated the additional vegetables I requested. The fries were not my favorite but they did come out hot and fresh. I would definitely return to try another variation of sub.

Tucked off of Route 95, this takeout spot knows how to do a cheesesteak well. Even at 8 p.m. on a Friday, the line was out the door but they still promised my food would be ready in 10-15 minutes. The large cheesesteak with all the normal fixings and seeded roll was $20. The sandwich was absolutely packed with tender beef and caramelized onions, tucked into a hefty soft hoagie roll. Even after a long drive home, the cheesesteak stayed warm and was delicious. The fixings added a nice bite and a healthy addition to the heavy sub. The blend of cheese and onions complimented the beef. If anything, I'd add a bit more fixings to help even out the mountain of meat. Overall, this was the best cheesesteak I've had in Baltimore, and I'll absolutely stop in again the next time.

The parking lot is INSANE. It doesn't go around the building. We hit the curb coming in, we hit the curb going out. It's narrow and horrible. And you'll be lucky to find a spot. The line was out the door and people were milling around outside, waiting the 20 minutes or so for their order to be ready. Many people saw the line and walked away. They've clearly never been to Philly where you might stand in line for an hour before you even get to order, depending on how popular the spot it with foodies. Cheesesteak and Co is currently on the top five best cheesesteaks in/around Baltimore so that would account for the amount of customers these days. Franks in Overlea was the same way. I got the Original Cheesesteak, plus mayo. These sandwiches are HUGE, with plenty of meat. I pushed myself to finish half. Not because it wasn't delicious AF (cuz it was) but because it's so big! See my pic with Jeremy's arm, for comparison. I do wish that there had been more mayo, but that's a nonsense complaint against a killer sub. Jeremy considered the Philly because, you know, cheese whiz... but went with the sub that has THREE cheeses, including Whiz. He LOVED it. And garlic parmesan wings, which were unremarkable. Our friend Justin just got a job so we bought him dinner to celebrate... his cheesesteak had mushrooms on it and some other stuff. He also got a cheesesteak egg roll which seemed to blow his mind. He said the wrapper was perfectly crispy, and the dipping sauce was great. Accolades all around for the meal. Totally worth the wait.

HUGE Cheesesteaks !!! They're pretty good , not greasy ...Juicy !! I went around 3:30 pm on a Friday , there was a 10 min wait to prepare our food . Would I eat this again , YES!!!! We go there a lot , it's pretty consistent .

I came here on a weekend over the summer. There was a super long line extending out the door, took maybe 40 minutes before we were able to order. The line was disorganized once inside, and the space was small, so it was awkward to wait in there. Got a few things to share among the people I came with. - Large fake steak (huge actually, couldn't even eat half of a half) - this had kind of a peppery sausage-y taste for Impossible meat, which was interesting - Small chicken cheesesteak - small chopped up bits but not slices the way I feel like a cheesesteak should be? - Cheese whiz fries and tater tots There was like 2 small tables inside with two chairs each, and all the people waiting, so nowhere to eat there. We ended up driving to a park nearby and eating on some bleachers. The fries and tots were heavy and oily. The sandwiches were very heavy and messy, and I didn't feel like the flavor was something I wanted too much of. Honestly not sure why the line was so long. I'm glad I finally got to try this place, but I don't feel the need to ever go back.

    Original with cooper, add whiz

I finally made it to Cheesesteak & Co on a Saturday night and it absolutely delivered. I ordered a large Original cheesesteak with Cooper sharp and added Whiz -- and it was outstanding. Loaded with cheese, perfectly salty (in the best way), and the steak was tender. Easily the best cheesesteak I've had outside of Philly. I've yet to try Soko Butcher in Tacoma part but I've heard this place competed with Soko as the best in the DMV. It's located in a strip mall with decent parking, but be prepared for a line. We got there around 8:20 PM and there were about 30 people ahead of us -- which says something in itself. That said, the line moved pretty quickly and the staff kept things efficient. There's virtually no seating (just two small tables with two chairs each), so the setup really makes more sense for calling ahead and picking up rather than dining in. The only thing keeping it from being on par with the true Philly greats is the bread. You just can't beat that fresh-baked South Philly roll. If Angelo's Pizzeria is a 10, this is a strong 8.5 -- and that's high praise. If you're craving a legit cheesesteak without driving to Philly, this is absolutely worth it.

I really wanted to like this place because I've heard so much about it and I'm a huge fan of cheesesteaks. It's a very busy spot so expect a long wait time before you order and after placing your order. I ordered an original large cheesesteak with provolone, grilled onions, and lettuce. I love the gracious amount of steak, but I do wish it was seasoned a bit more with some salt. For me, what makes a great cheesesteak is not only the steak but also the bread. Very unfortunately, the bread was extremely soggy and fell apart quickly which was disappointing. Overall, glad I got to try this spot once and hoping they'll make improvements on the quality of bread and seasoning of the steak.

    Yum!

I finally decided to stop into Cheesesteak & Co and I was not disappointed! I ordered a large Cheez Whiz + an order of Cheez Whiz tots large enough to split with a friend for dinner. The tots were crispy + had plenty of Whiz! The cheesesteak was stuffed full of steak, grilled onions and cheez whiz and the bread was perfect! I give it a 10 out of 10! The service was quick and efficient, I waited less than 15 minutes. There's not a ton of seating but I loved the feel of the inside and the fun design on the walls.

    Trying a new place.

Don't come here if you are hungry. You will wait about 40 minutes. They are moving as fast as they can but it's just so much hype about this place. Once they take your order it's take about 15 minutes to get your food . I wouldn't eat here because it's just too small of an area. The store had chicken bones and other stuff smashed fries on the floor. The line was crazy and they wasn't a lot of order. They need to creat some line tape so that there is order when you walk in. There are plenty of cooks in there but they need someone soley to keep folks in order because we were smashed in there. The sun itself was a 6/10. I got the original steak with no cheese lettuce, tomato, and fried onions. My son had the bacon steak sub. He loves his sub. The steak needed salt. It's didn't have much flavor. But it's was okay to eat. They was a lot of meat on the sub. You gotta be starving to eat the entire sub. If I try it again I would order online to avoid the wait.

Spicy chicken cheese steak. 8oz loved it!!

This place is awesome!! Ordered two 8 inch subs. Which was well enough for the both of us. We ordered one steak and cheese with hot peppers and one spicy chicken cheese sub. Everything was so good. It wasn't to crowded so we only had a 10 minute wait. We decided to mix and match our sandwiches so that we could taste the difference between the two. So glad we did! We also decided to get the strawberry crunch cheesecake yummy! This is a carryout with only a few tables for seating. We sat waiting for our food and noticed the tables could use a wipe down. We decided to get everything to go. We live about 20 minutes away. So the food was still warm when we arrived home. We came on Thursday evening. I do believe that makes a difference with the wait time. Definitely worth the visit and we shall return!!

There are not a ton of good cheesesteak options in Maryland. Even fewer making authentic cheesesteaks. This place is no frills, just good food. I ordered 2 cheesesteaks with cooper sharp. The line was long but they work through it fairly quickly. The service is fast and accurate. Here what I enjoyed about my cheesesteak. They don't skimp on the meat, the bread is excellent and the meat to onion mix is balanced. My one critique is this. It migh be a personal preference, but I thought they went too heavy on the salt and pepper. I don't think you need to spice the steak this heavy when you have all the flavors already in place. Otherwise, it's kinda the only game in town as far as a Philly cheesesteaks go.

Stopped by here earlier today on the way back from Baltimore. It is a small spot, no real space to sit down so definitely be prepared to grab and go. Walked in and the place was packed, dont let that deter you. The line moves pretty quick, might of took 20 minutes total. We grabbed the wings, half moons which are mozzarella sticks, fried and orginal cheesesteak and chicken bacon ranch. Both sandwiches were delicious. Half moons very cheesy. Wings were cooked great smelled good but the flavor didn't fully come thru.

"My daughter, S A M," Shaw signs back, "playing guitar," as he makes hand motions. "Being able to hear that." "You don't need to. Every spring, I go to the Boston Pops." "Why?" Frank asks disconsolately. "To watch...the feeling...the musicians...to see their joy. It's enough. To see that, to share it." Watching Ava recapture physically not just the performance in her retelling but the appreciation from both musicians and concert-goers alike, Frank starts to rediscover hope, even as he and Ava try to stay alive from the killers hunting them. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts from Eataliano Market & Deli, located at 5325 Phelps Luck Drive in Columbia, Maryland, prompt similarly unexpected overflows of culinary memories and joy. Upon our first visit of what we hope will be many, my wife and I placed the following takeout order: 1 order of Baked Meatballs 2 orders of Garlic Bread 1 ten-inch Empire Pie (I requested no ricotta or extra virgin olive oil) 1 order of Rigatoni Meatballs alla Vodka 1 order of Spaghetti with Homemade Meat Sauce 1 slice of Limoncello Mascarpone Cake 1 slice of Pistachio Cheesecake The garlic bread and pistachio cheesecake alone conjured spectacular reminisces. The pizza is the best we've had in Maryland, although my wife regretted my choice of no ricotta; and we would gladly reorder our pasta dishes if we didn't have many more entrees that we want to try.

HIDDEN GEM!!!! I…read morestumbled across this place while visiting Columbia, MD. I was craving a good cheesesteak, so I did what any responsible foodie would do--I consulted Google. This place kept popping up, so I figured the internet couldn't be wrong... at least not this time. The restaurant is tucked away in what feels like a residential area, making it a true hidden gem. The parking situation, however, deserves its own reality show. Spaces are limited, and getting in and out of the parking lot felt like I was participating in an advanced driving course. The establishment offers nice seating, but don't expect a formal dining experience. You place your order at the counter and then find your own seat. When we arrived, the place was packed with people ordering and eating. That's usually a good sign, and at that point I knew we had either found the jackpot or everyone in Columbia had the exact same cheesesteak craving. Because of the crowd, ordering took a little while. The dining area was also in need of some attention--we ended up cleaning our own table before sitting down. The food took longer than expected to arrive, but as soon as I took the first bite, all was forgiven. We ordered two cheesesteaks and a personal pepperoni pizza. The cheesesteaks were absolutely loaded with perfectly grilled meat, topped with grilled onions and peppers, all served on a warm, soft hoagie roll. Every bite was packed with flavor and required at least a few extra napkins. The personal pepperoni pizza was also excellent. I'd describe it as a traditional thin-crust pizza with the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. No ingredient was trying to steal the spotlight--it was a well-rehearsed pizza ensemble. As I said from the beginning, this place is a hidden gem. The food alone is worth the trip. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 is because of the challenging parking situation and the dining area's cleanliness and service. Fix those two issues, and this place might just become my new definition of a cheesesteak pilgrimage destination
