If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I absolutely would. I am visiting from North Carolina with my parents and needed a quick meal before an event. I placed my order by phone at 5:14 PM (I have screenshots showing the exact time). When I had trouble finding the restaurant, I called again at 5:53 PM for directions while I was in the shopping center, which I will also attach. When I arrived, the owner greeted me by saying, "We've been waiting for you. We had to heat your food up again." I was immediately confused. Reheating a customer's food instead of preparing it fresh is not something I would expect from any restaurant. To make matters worse, when I politely asked for ketchup, ranch, and cups of ice, the manager responded, "Oh, you're asking for all this and no tip?" That comment was incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate. Tips are earned through good service, not demanded or used to shame customers. Once I returned to the hotel and opened the food, the quality was extremely disappointing. The bread was stale and dry, the fries were overcooked and tasted like they had been sitting out for a long time, and the entire meal looked and tasted as though it had been reheated multiple times rather than freshly prepared. I called the restaurant to express my concerns, hoping the owner would at least acknowledge the issue or offer a solution. Instead, he insisted that I arrived "an hour late" to pick up my order, despite my call history showing otherwise. He then said, "I'm sorry, sweetheart, I'm busy," and hung up on me before I could even finish speaking. The poor food quality was disappointing, but the owners attitude and complete lack of customer service were even worse. Rather than listening, apologizing, or attempting to make things right, he dismissed my concerns, spoke to me condescendingly, and ended the conversation by hanging up on me. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserved one. Between the stale, reheated food, the rude comments about tipping, and the disrespectful treatment from the owner, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are plenty of places that value their customers--this is not one of them.

SOOOO AMAZING!!! The owner is so sweet! The business is family-owned and operated by him and his father. My dad and I came in for lunch, and it was so good that I had to bring some home for dinner ( Cajun Philly Cheesesteak) I also loved the cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks. It wasn't too busy, but there was definitely a steady flow of customers coming in and out. Thank you again for a wonderful lunch! I'll definitely be back.

Steak 1. Steak & Cheese Sub Combo W/fries

Brightly lit dining area with booths and high-top seating. Great combo price on cheesesteak w/ fries. Add your soda and it's still not bad. Had to compliment the owner on his old school music which made my dine-in at this spot with a "neighborhood gem" vibe enjoyable. Sub came with a decent amount of well-seasoned steak (unlike a lot of places!) on a toasted bun with no up-charge for mushrooms. I sure hope I can bring myself to get something other than this sub next time.

Amazing Philly cheese steaks!! The menu has a lot of items to pick from if you don't want a Philly cheese steak (but you should get one)! I also ordered their falafel sandwich to try. Philly cheese steak came with fries for 9.99! Super fresh and good seasoning. The fries... WOW AMAZING!!!!! so so so crispy. I also enjoyed there falafel sandwich! It came in a wrap with lettuce, pickled onions, onions, and the white sauce. Service here was awesome too. Super friendly staff. There's seating inside and a couple of tables outside for outdoor seating.

TL;DR: Such friendly staff! And of all things.. their baklava is a MUST! Husband and I were craving some good ole subs and fries, and decided to check this place out (have had it on my list for ages). When you come in, it's your standard order at the counter and sit down place. Their menu is rather extensive! Lots of options for subs (hot and cold), sides (typical fried sides), fried seafood and chicken too! Everything is moderately priced, as well, especially for the portions! FOOD: ~Supreme basket (4/5): Comes with fries (4/5), chicken tenders (3/5), shrimp (4/5), and tilapia (4/5). Shrimp and tilapia were so good and softer than I expected ~Waffle fries (4/5): came with our sub. Nice and crispy and well seasoned ~Onion rings (4/5): Again, nice and crispy and onion-y ~Cheesesteak with onions, green peppers, sweet peppers (4/5): bun was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Meat was tender and well seasoned ~Baklava (5/5): OMG SO GOOD! Flaky phyllo, nutty inside, and syrup was not too sweet! So delicious - am coming back just for this Overall, nothing we had was bad! Solid spot for some subs/sandwiches and fried food! Will definitely be back!

Finally coming in for lunch did not disappoint. We tried their "3 Bites & Small Plates" deal for $25, and it was absolutely worth it. We went with the feta dip (of course), cheddar cheese curds, and tikka masala meatballs. For a non-Indian restaurant, the tikka masala was surprisingly on point - really flavorful and well-balanced. The cheese curds were super satisfying, especially dipped into the sauces they come with. But the star of the show is still the hot honey feta dip. The bread is lightly charred, giving it a subtle smoky flavor that pairs perfectly with the warm, salty, gooey feta and sweet honey. It's one of those dishes you think about after you leave. For drinks, I had the Wild Blueberry Lemon Drop - very refreshing and definitely on the stronger side (it is a martini, so no complaints). We also tried the watermelon margarita - pro tip: ask for it with tajin, it makes a huge difference. For entrées, we got the lunch grilled cheese and tomato soup, which was exactly what you'd hope for - comforting and classic. We added candied bacon to the grilled cheese and didn't regret it at all. We also had the quarter pound burger, which tasted fresh and really hit the spot. The fries were perfect - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. And yes - I loved the hot honey feta dip so much that I actually ordered it as my entrée too, no regrets at all. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the overall vibe inside is very chill and lowkey. We sat outside by the fireplace, and even with the weather warming up, it was surprisingly comfortable with the fans going. Definitely recommend - whether you're dining in or ordering out, you can't go wrong here!

As kind of a takeoff on the typical 1950's diner theme, BGR has an 80's rock theme, both in the music they play and the wall decorations. You go to the counter, place your order and they give you a buzzer to alert you that your meal is ready. I ordered the basic "The Burger". I like that in placing your order, you can explicitly specify what condiments and toppings you want on your burger. I also appreciate that each table has its own set of condiments and paper towels. Okay, cutting to the chase, how was my burger? In a big way, it comes down to if you prefer flame-broiled or griddle-cooked meat. Myself, I prefer griddle-cooked. Flame-broiled reminds me of Burger King burgers. BGR burgers are flame-broiled, so I don't love the taste of BGR meat, but it's still good. So If you like flame-broiled, you'll love BGR burgers. I was kinda surprised at the burger bun. It looked like a Brioche bun which is notorious for falling apart, but the BGR bun is sturdy and holds up well. The toppings, including grilled onions, were great. So overall, a very good burger. Yeah, all things considered, I'll be back.

The positives first: the restaurant is attractive inside, the staff was genuinely friendly, and the food itself was good. My chicken fajita omelet was flavorful, although it contained surprisingly little chicken. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy their meals. Unfortunately, the pricing and constant add-on charges really overshadowed the experience. At $15 for an omelet, the prices are already toward the high end for breakfast. Then there are extra charges for things that feel like they should be included. Real maple syrup is an additional $1.50, and coffee was an eye-popping $4 per cup. Looking at our receipt afterward, it really felt like we were being nickel-and-dimed. The biggest surprise was the 3% credit card surcharge. In 2026, charging customers extra for paying with a credit card feels outdated. Very few people carry enough cash to cover a $100 breakfast meeting, so it comes across as another hidden fee rather than a genuine choice. One other odd thing I noticed was the floor. Whenever someone heavier walked through the dining room, the entire floor visibly bounced. It wasn't unsafe as far as I could tell, but it was noticeable enough to the table to be distracting throughout the meal. I wanted to like this place because the atmosphere, service, and food were all solid. But between the high menu prices, the extra charges, and the credit card fee, I left feeling like the value just wasn't there. Unless the pricing structure changes, I don't expect to return.
