Very flavorful, marinated meat, tender, super fresh toppings, soft and delicious tortilla. Cheese crust was not too greasy, burrito stayed together well. Jalapeno poppers were not fried. Simply stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in turkey bacon. They use good turkey bacon, tastes great and the popper is not nearly as heavy as others. I will be back, this place is awesome. Apologies for the not best pictures. Food was good! I think the tacos are where it's at. I'm not saying the birria "pizza" is bad but it's not for me or it feels heavy. For me I'd like the option for a crema and guacamole to make it eat a little fresher. The salsas and lime are great, but don't balance out all the birria meat. Unassuming dive; great food. The Birria Taco is the star. My wife called it the Mexican French dip, because it comes with a consommé dip, and the result was phenomenal. My street tacos were really good (the chicken being superior to the chorizo). And the quesadilla was a winner, too. This restaurant is upstairs, and rather tiny (and cold); takeout is best. You take one flight of stairs straight up and it's there. We ordered the Latin Street Sandwich as well as the birria tacos. My boyfriend really enjoyed his sandwich but we both preferred the birria tacos. I think they're some of the best birria tacos I've had in this area! Went to this place on a whim and I'm so glad I did. You have to climb a flight of stairs to get to it and it's not very big inside. They have tables inside where you can sit and eat but I'd recommend getting it to go as it's kinda hot in there. Service was quick and good too. I got the jalapeño poppers and the burrito with chorizo. The jalapeño poppers were really good I'd probably get them again. However the star of the show was the burrito. We've been going to Charlie's since he ran a food truck during Covid and the food has been always good. Consistent quality and quantity. Reasonably priced. Charlie is a super nice guys. I always get his bowel and my husband and older son love his burritos. We recently just tried his burria tacos. They were mind blowing. Easily top 3 tacos in the neighborhood. We know what we are talking about since my husband lived in Mexico for a year. We are frequent visitors. Note that they are on the second floor of the end unit of the shopping strip. In these challenging times, I went to this food truck to get a break from cooking and to also support local businesses. I will be honest this food truck was just OK. I doubt I'd be rushing back if there were another option next to it. I order the bowl with the bulgogi meat, the meat was very flavorful and tender but that was pretty much where the flavor train stopped, I didn't pick up on any seasoning with the beans, rice, or pico de gallo that came with the bowl which was a bit of a bummer. My hubby got the chicken burrito he said it had a few pieces chicken, some beans, and was mostly rice. He said it was ok but it wasn't anything to write home about. Again worth checking out, some of my friends who were outside liked them a lot. I guess I've had better and this didn't quite fit the bill. read more
