    Chicharron

I loved it here!!! The staff was really nice and accommodating to our toddlers. The food came out in a reasonable time. The Chicharron was very tender and crispy on the outside. The Asada was so tender I am definitely coming back in the near future for it. The menu that they give you don't have pricing, but they do have pricing on the window and by the register in the front. Good portions and reasonable prices One of my new favorite places to go.

Love this place so much! Everything is good! I recommend the grilled shrimp and the fish! Soooo good, everything comes out hot and fresh! Would recommend!!!!

    Pupusa de queso y revuelta

I know what a good pupusa should taste like. Let me tell you, these pupusas were great, the dough and filling ration was perfect, the inside of the pupusas was perfectly melted! I asked for pork and cheese pupusa. Sometimes people who make it leave it super greasy, but the chef who made them did not leave it greasy at all. We got fresco de maracuya and it was on point!! Loved it! Coming back for sure!!

    Carne Asada

As soon as I saw a new restaurant replaced Village Cafe, I was excited to give Mi Casita a try. It did not disappoint. I ordered the carne asada. Like an idiot, I forgot that carne asada, though steak, should NOT be cooked medium-rare - it's skirt steak. But they were more than happy to throw it back on the grill. When it came back, it was perfect - nice char marks but juicy. You could really taste the marinade. The plate came with rice and beans, a basic but fresh and tasty little salad, and a couple of tortillas (that were surprisingly thick, almost like an Indian chapati.) They just opened, so they're still getting things set up, but you can see why they've been successful enough to open this second location. The service from both front and back of house was friendly, accommodating and prompt. I'll be retuning soon!

Came here for lunch just to give it a try and omg , I wasn't expecting how delicious and well seasoned the food is .... I had the fried yuca with chunks of pork ( Chicharon ) and wow ! So decided to come back and buy more for my family dinner . You do have to be patient on how fast the food comes out EVERYTHING is cooked fresh about ( 20 - 25 min. ) depends on how much you order. All in all Totally recommend over and over the staff is super friendly, can't go wrong.

I waited. A guy after me got his food so I inquired about my food again. She said one minute. I finally got my food at 6:15pm. I think they were filling in orders as they came in. I got home and my order was wrong. I placed custom orders and my tacos did not have lettuce, cheese or tomatoes. I called and got hung up on. Called again, first was told to bring it back and I said no because I just got home. I asked them to refund me. He took my name and number and said he would call me tomorrow. I plan to call back by mid day if he doesn't honor this and ask for a FULL refund.

Never ever get the corn elote or chicken flautas. Elote- sucked. The corn is way overcooked and mushy. I couldn't get past the texture. Too much cheese and mayo. Flautas- also sucked. Even if you reheat in your air fryer, the outside will never get crispy. It comes not crispy. The inside is the driest hardest chicken I've ever eaten. Lacked seasoning. Even if you drown it in salsa it tastes and feels like cardboard.

I had no idea that they offered a small bowl of complementary ceviche, which is actually really good. Like, so good, that I'm going to have to go back just to get that. The queso was also good. It was the standard white queso that I commonly associate with the Midwest because for the longest I couldn't get it on the East Coast, but it's not queso fundido. They offer Coke from a fountain, which is a huge plus. And the salsa was really good. The chips and salsa were free, so they absolutely get bonus points for that. It was a random Saturday evening when I came in, and they were setting up for what looked like live music and a fun night. The service was really good and parking was easy since it's in a plaza. I would highly recommend this place. They were fast and super sweet.

While looking at the menu, we were served the complimentary chips and salsa which was good. For entrees, we had Filete ala Crema, al Gusto Soup, and Tacos (I forgot which one specifically). The serving sizes were humongous! The Filete ala Crema could probably we shared by 2-3 people. I could say the same for the soup and the tacos. We could say that the seafood was fresh - no funny smells and the food was prepared well. The prices were reasonable. We would love to go back for when we are craving for seafood.

This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had in a long time…read more We decided to try this place for dinner on a weekend evening and were surprised by how empty it was. At first we assumed maybe we had just come after a rush, but after seeing the condition of the dining area and the overall service, it became easier to understand why the restaurant was so quiet. Given how slow the restaurant was, we expected attentive service. We placed a fairly simple family order, and the waiter even wrote everything down, which initially gave us confidence the order would be handled correctly. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. We were served chips and salsa while waiting for the food. When we asked for more chips, the waiter brought another basket but completely ignored the fact that the salsa was nearly gone as well -- despite placing the chips directly next to the empty container. Small details like that reflect a lack of attentiveness and basic customer awareness. The bigger issue came when the food arrived. Three separate orders were incorrect, and not minor mistakes either. Considering how empty the restaurant was, this was especially frustrating. When we pointed out the mistakes, the dishes were taken back, but they returned suspiciously fast and appeared to have simply been altered rather than remade properly. For example, sauces and toppings that were incorrectly added seemed hastily scraped off instead of the meals being freshly prepared. That is not how order corrections should be handled, especially when food allergies or dietary restrictions could potentially be involved. I understand service standards have declined in many places over the last several years, but this experience was genuinely far below expectations. Between the inattentive service, multiple incorrect orders, and poor handling of corrections, the entire dinner felt rushed and careless.

Micheladas were diluted, not authentic nor spicy at all - although specified and requested - and they couldn't accommodate my request of adding some lettuce on the side (for my nachos order). I would say 3.5/5, but when businesses say "no" and don't take requests, don't listen and aren't accommodating (especially for simple things like lettuce), then they don't deserve the benefit of the doubt. This place has lots of potential but the service downgrades that. I prefer Taco Bamba for their Happy hour. 2.5/5
