I would have given this place 1 star because of the terrible service and limited menu options, but because the shrimp dish I ordered actually tasted good, I am giving it 2 stars overall. I've been here twice, and both times the food was enjoyable, which is the only reason I returned a second time. However, the service is awful. The lady working there has a very nasty, curt attitude. In a customer-facing role, you need to be friendly and attentive.To make matters worse, this place forces you to order, pay, and tip upfront before you even experience the service. I tipped on my first visit, but after realizing how rude the service was, I corrected my mistake and skipped the tip on my second visit. While I was rooting for the restaurant, I wasn't a fan of the bland Veggie Burrito or the super spicy Mushroom Taco. The Veggie Burrito was a decent size, a bit smaller than Chipotle burritos. It was overloaded with white rice and sour cream, I wish there was some guac. The peppers were spicy, the mushrooms were the best part of the burrito and overall the burrito left much to be desired. The Mushroom Hongos Tacos was very spicy and my tongue was on fire! Hubby enjoyed his Carne Asada and Chicken Pollo tacos. Wish they served the tacos in a taco holder tray. While the Chips are advertised in a fresh mini fryer, I received them out of a refrigerator and they were cold. The chips were light and airy, and not salty. The guacamole was soggy and sad. Andy's Pizza is the go-to for us at the Tysons Galleria food court but I just had Andy's earlier in the week so wanted to get something different/lighter. Rabbit Taco fits the bill. I check out the menu and decide to go with the Grilled Chicken taco and the Baja Fish (fried) taco. I also order a Mexican coke. The tacos are on the small side so probably should have just gone with the trio, however, I'm pleased with the taste. The sauces they put on the tacos add good flavor and they make for a good bite. The reason I'll go with 3.5 stars is the cost...you know you are in Tysons Galleria because I end up paying just under $17 for the 2 small tacos ($10.98) and a whopping $4.99 for a Mexican coke! Wow...Not the best bang for your buck especially when you compare it to a few other nearby Mexican options not in the Galleria. With the "Trio of Tacos" you can pick your protein type for each taco as well as the tortilla type for all of the tacos. I went with the Chicken, Baja Fish and Asada options on corn tortillas. While I enjoyed all of the tacos, they were a little dry. Overall, I would go back to Rabbit Taco and I recommend visiting for a quick bite. read more

The menu is very simple and the prices are above average but the quality of these grilled chicken tacos is truly outstanding, these are the best chicken tacos I've had on the East Coast!They also had quesadillas, chips and salsa, a selection of appetizers, burritos and desserts. Very durable to go containers although I ate my meal with at tables at the restaurant and tables and chairs are very comfortable. They have an all organic and Halal menu. The staff was friendly and understanding when I changed my mind mid order. Very friendly and tasty food. I ordered the trio fish tacos while my spouse ordered the carne asada quesadilla. I have to tell you the guacamole was amazing! The chips were light and I ate it all. Also, I don't care for coleslaw and that is what came on the fish tacos which was fine. The carne asada was so soft though. I was really taken aback. They had movies playing in tv and the mall was generally loud but other than that, the bar was quiet enough and the staff was more than accommodating. For a new spot I was pretty disappointed. The lamb and steak were way over cooked and rubbery. Even more disappointed over the toppings. The chicken taco had waaay too much and lamb literally had just the lamb cubes and a line of their red sauce, that's it. We got one of each taco plus chips guacamole and salsa. Chips: stale. They were made and left in a sealed bag on the counter. Steak taco: over cooked and flavorless Chicken taco: still that unpleasant "chicken" flavor Lamb: see above. Also no flavor. Mushroom: nothing wow but decent. Tastes like mushrooms and thing else. Lobster: a tiny bit overcooked but again decent. Guacamole: very good and chunky loved it Salsa: also good and very flavorful. Here's what I observed on a busy Saturday night, and why as an immune compromised individual I opted not to eat the food I ordered at this place. Was a disappointment as it's billed as a traditional Mexican place, which is something I miss after having grown-up and lived the majority of my life in CA. Posting because if I was the owner I'd really want to know. Ordered 3 chicken tacos. Was asked flour or corn, chose corn. Asked how long, they said 5-7 minutes. Then I sat at the bar and watched. The woman who took my order was drinking water out of a cup and straw playing with the straw, standing around the corner close to the kitchen. I'm like that's kind of gross but ok. Four additional people were standing in the galley kitchen. Then I see there's a big container of cut up beef in cubes sitting on the side table. It's a large as like a buffet dish. It's not held at hot or cold temperature or covered, just sitting out in the open air. Not just gross but dangerous. Then I see it, one of the employees from the kitchen is standing there sneaking his bare hands into the square container, below the table, holding chips. As he takes each chip he's then shoving it into his mouth. Another employee walks out from the galley kitchen with a box of water in his hand (the milk carton jug kind) and he's drinking that. He sees what the other employee is doing and he joins in eating a few chips by also sticking his bare hands into the commercial chip container, while alternating taking drinks of his boxed water. The two chip eating employees slowly move to the bar area to chat and hang out a bit. It's then that I realize they've all been in the galley kitchen and non of them were wearing a hair net. It's all too much for me. I join my family and tell them, feel free to pickup & eat the 3 tacos, but I think it's too risky for me. Kid picks up and opens the container. She's like it's blue corn tortillas is that what you ordered? I'm like no, they didn't mention blue corn at all, which is a bit weird right, considered it's supposed to be traditional Mexican. You'd think they'd at least mention it. Anyway, visited this place excited to try. We all were going to eat there for the first time, but they got sucked into trying Andy's pizza by the slice for the first time, as we passed by. It's safe to say they loved Andy's and will be back, but never again at Rabbit Taco where management, health standards and storing food at proper temps leaves red flags and question marks in my mind. read more
