The flame still flares up on the grill when the cook flips the burger, confirming the char flavor will be present as advertised. It is a one-man kitchen, so your order may take a few minutes if they are busy. Good charburgers and onion rings. Today my wife had a half order of 3-way. The chili is very mild, lots of cheese and fresh chopped onions decorated the big bowl of food. Skip Sonic and McDonald's. Have a home town Son's Charburger instead.

Excellent food, friendly service served in a cozy clean little building. They open at 11AM, so no breakfast. Serving lunch and dinner with everything you could want in a small diner. Daily specials, burgers and pies. Fried Catfish and fried chicken is their specialty. Today's special was chicken fried chicken. Add mashed potatoes with cream gravy, and fried okra then double the order. That is what my wife and I had. It was excellent. Blackberry pie was available, but we were stuffed.
