I'd Fite you for that biscuit! It was a big, fluffy, flakey, buttery cake of joy. It needed nothing. I ate half of it plain and then made the hard decision to not let the gravy go to waste. The perfectly cooked breakfast was upstaged by a simple biscuit. Check the picture. Excellent. customer focused service from Kaitlynn. A cozy café. Great coffee; possibly locally roasted. My wife spotted the Indian Taco on the menu. Another trip.........

Everything was well prepared, a little greasy but expected at a diner. The restaurant is very small so I wouldn't suggest a big party to come eat here, and bring a jacket as it's chilly inside.

First let me say this what a awesome group of people. i drove from Maryland. i was hit by lightning…read morein the Ozarks. the lighting hit my windsheild and cracked it. i kept pushing forward. I needed a place to stay and i only got to stay one night in a hotel because they sold the room form under me to a company. I had no were to go and i was really hurting. I didnt know anyone around and needed something to eat and coffee to calm my nerves. I felt like a huge failure with everything around me going on. Yah i could have gone anywhere to grab something to eat but i wanted something that made me feel at home. I came into the dinner mad and scared feeling like a straight failure. I order a omelet and coffee. when i walked in it was like walking into home felt like i was suppose to be there. small town and good people. My heart began to be calm. Alyssa " mom" or " big Sister" you can definitely tell she calls the shots. She runs the roost. she was so calm and talking to me. i told her why i was there and the reasons why i am driving to OK. she just listened and gave me advice and made me laugh. she really reminded me of my sister that passed away. Alyssa being so down to earth and funny made me want to come back each time. So as i slept in my jeep from the 4-10th at Ross park had no were else to go i went there to Boomarang dinner "my dinner". Yes it started as a place to eat but it turned into a place of calmness and happiness. i got to know everyone of the staff and there amazing i kept going back to eat there. I love the food and the ambiance. chicken fried stake and black coffee. the staff dose tremendous great work and if i could make the wages different i would at least pay them $19.00 hr. i looked up the minimum wage in Tahlequah, Ok $7.10hr that is absurd. these wonderful people do way more then just help run a dinner. they are family, therapist, counselors, jokesters and good quality people. The staff works hard to keep the place running in tip top shape. I was there when the small front fridge broke and NO on sat in the fridge the door just fell off because of all the usage. No staff broke the door. Please who ever is reading this and own this great establishment let the staff sit down and rest there feet for a momnet i see them up and running around all the time. let them have a moment and be a human being and have a cup of coffee in the dinner. these wonderful people are not robots. they are people to. I love the staff. As i look up minimum at $7.10hr + tips need to do better then that. People can not survive on minimum wage like that there are families to support and that is one way to loose staff. when the staff cant afford to feed there families and start to feel the financial burden they will think about finding another job to support there family. seeing that the minimum wage is THAT LOW and knowing that it can be increased to help the staff in there future to do whatever the dream career is at least increase it to 16.00 + tips as a start. Your staff is awesome and they are worth it. All in a nut shell i wish i could make a movie or a sitcom about this place and call it " Big Hair" because as i think of this dinner it would be a epic movie or sitcom. I am coming back to eat there everytime. As i sit here writing this review in maryland i want to just drive back to " Boomarang dinner" to eat there again. To the staff you guys made this whole experience the best trip ever and I will never forget you guys. Small town dinner with the greatest people you can ever meet. My email is : CaliRican92@gmail.com. thank you for everything you made my trip

Three big corn tortillas filled with seasoned chicken, smothered with freshly made green sauce, and as an extra touch, covered with grilled onion, cilantro and a generous sprinkle of cotija cheese. A tasty plate of fancy enchiladas, not typical of small town OkieMex joints. My Torta was remarkable. I am sticking firm to this assessment...It was the best that I have ever had!! A fresh soft bolillo, mayo, lettuce, tomato, jalapeno, cheese and a little avocado. I got the two meat Torta. Tender flavorful barbacoa and carnitas prepared properly with a nice crispy fried finish. An excellent sandwich. The sandwich was wrapped up tightly in paper, holding the loaded hand meal together until I pealed it back. I devoured the sandwich. Great service, clean comfortable restaurant. Impressive food. Another great option in Tahlequah. Note: try the carnitas here!!!

Me being here for a month in this town I am noticing that there are mainly two popular steakhouses…read moreor chop houses if I may. The other beginning with a C with Hit and Miss service and then you have here which most of my visits as well as my co-workers have always had nothing but raving talkatives about this establishment. The ambience is wonderful and here is where you want to take a date. From the almost Edison type lights that are on top to the brick wall with a nice historical accent and the ceiling tile of decorative nature. I've tried the hamburger here as well as well as the eggs benedict and they have been on spot. The hamburger is not fried on the grill you can actually taste the charness on it from a grill and the yolks on the egg to Benedict is not overcooked it has that nice runny yolk that we all like and a buttery dream hollandaise sauce that's hard to beat. Price is medium to medium high but look at the ambience of this place you will not get too much of that in this small town enjoy it while you are here. Parking might be a little challenging at peak times because you are parking on the street. When you are tired of the mediocre to bad service as well as the food at the other Steakhouse come over here and find yourself not being disappointed. This is coming from my point of view as well as about four other co-workers that have been to both places. OH, I forgot their address I decent looking bar with a nice setup for your tasting pleasure.

To overshadow everything... I do need to say that Megan our server was absolutely incredible even after a very difficult day where we found out she had worked almost 12 hours on New Year's Eve day. Now to the review. We arrived 30 minutes early for our 8 PM reservation with hopes of being able to listen to a cellist that had been advertised on Facebook for New Year's Eve. He was to be there until about 8:30. When we arrived, the cellist was not there. Really... No big deal. We asked the maître D if we could sit at the bar while we waited for our reservation and he said that he would have to clear off a couple of spots at the bar then we could. Well, he was so busy clearing tables instead of being able to check people in and take care of the needs of people upfront that that never happened and someone walked in talked to the bartender and they went up and took our seats. Again... Not a dealbreaker. We waited until 8:30 before we were seated, and during that time, the restaurant had about a third of the tables empty. The line was out the door and people were getting a little contentious. We hardly saw the maître D and was unable to ask him questions because he was bussing tables which I believe should've been someone else's job. I realize people call in on special days like that because they don't want to work and possibly that's what happened because they were obviously shorthanded. The place seemed to be in utter confusion amongst the staff. I would have expected someone who seemed to be the owner or manager to come out and take control and that never happened. No one seemed to be in control. We were never approached the entire evening at our table by a manager or anyone that even resembled one. Now onto the experience at the table. As I said before... Megan was incredible and was running her legs off. We started off with an iced tea and an old-fashioned which by the way was one of the best old fashions I've ever had. She made sure we had plenty of bread, etc. while we waited for our food. We had ordered shrimp cocktail, which we never got, and when I kindly told her not to worry about it when our food was brought to the table, I think she threw herself under the bus by saying that she had forgotten to turn the order in. I think that screwup was in the kitchen. Listen folks... We're not picky people, but when I go into a place and I'm paying $90 for a steak I really think there should be perfection all the way around. The baked potatoes were very good, but I think the asparagus was overcooked and charred to the point where they tasted burnt. The star of the show which was a $90 porterhouse table steak was a complete disappointment. We love our steaks, medium rare. A medium rare steak should have a little bit of juice and blood on the plate. This was not the case with this one. It was medium to the point of almost medium well. The only reason we didn't send it back was our server had been running her legs off and we were not about to do that to her 30 minutes after they were supposed to be closed. So... We didn't say anything. I just think there should've been someone in charge and it just didn't seem like that was the case at least out in the dining area. Again... If you are understaffed in a restaurant that small, especially on a holiday night, it should be obvious that someone in charge is jumping in to fill the gap and we did not see that. Sorry guys, but we'll probably not be back. I just don't have a lot of grace when I pay $90 for a steak and have that kind of experience. Texas de Brazil and Bull In The Alley will continue to be our go to's. Really disappointed cause I thought we would be able to get a really good steak at home.
