Sprinkler Rx had left a business card in a bag on our driveway so we called to see what they could do. John and Josh showed up on time and in a matter of minutes they had identified the problem and resolved the issue. Upon running the zone now that it was fixed they noticed a few sprinklers that were in need of replacing. We discussed their replacing the sprinklers for me with the same brand and model of sprinkler I was currently using, and came to an agreement to have that work done as well. 2 days later John and Nate returned on time again and immediately went to work replacing the bad sprinkler heads. Once replaced, they ran the zone and adjusted and balanced all the heads to ensure proper coverage and eliminating unneeded over spray. John, Josh, and Nate were extremely polite, and very professional. Their knowledge and expertise put the other sprinkler companies to shame; and their workmanship and clean up were in a word perfect. I had only some vague ideas of what we wanted but they were able to take them and create an absolutely fantastic plan that worked with the budget we had. They even set us up so we can build on the yard in the future in stages as our budget allows. They were able to get us scheduled quickly and were so efficient about doing the work. It was a huge job but the guys were incredibly professional and kept us looped in to how things were going along the way. The final product was beyond fantastic. The patio not only looks great but is graded appropriately to keep water away from the house and also allows us to eat and cook outside. The artificial turf not only looks amazing but is easy maintenance and great quality. The kids and dog love rolling around on it. They graded the whole yard to help maximize the usable space in our budget and the retaining wall they installed gives me so much peace of mind. The work was expensive but well worth it. I just received the worst load of firewood I have ever recieved. By far. First they attempted to…read moreleave a 1/4 cord delivery of piñon/juniper mix in a huge truck. They said their pickup was broken. The driver tried to back down my driveway and broke only a few branches before I stopped him. He wanted to back more but I like my trees with branches. So he dumped the load a couple hundred feet up at the entrance to the drive as I requested. I am a 78 y/o man with a bad back, but I like my trees. Many of the pieces of wood were too big to use in my fireplace, I will have to cut them. Many others were were chunks that won't stack well. Others were partially rotten and won't provide much heat.. I have a large pile of small pieces and baskets full of shredded juniper bark that the rodents can use to build nests if it isn't too late. Unfortunately I have plenty of kindling and I doubt there are enough rodents near my house to take all that bark. I am not sure how to dispose of it since I don't yet have a county burning permit and my trash service is limited. I suppose the upside is that I don't have to stack a lot of wood. It is a mess: there will residue around until spring, at least, since a real cleanup will take several days and there are other things I have to do.. To their credit, sorta, the 1/4 cord of wood was very large, but now I have to deal with it all. I guess I could hire someone (at about the same cost as the wood). Never again!

The DeerBrooke guy suggested I have my electrician troubleshoot my well before having DeerBrooke come out to work on it. As it turned out, my problem was electrical and not the well pump. Even though I ultimately did not need to hire DeerBrook they helped direct me to possible repairs on my well, including some communications back and forth about how I could best take care of my high pressure issue. I will be using DeerBrooke in the future for my well needs.

He listened, took notes & some measurements. I got some great ideas to consider with my project. Let him know I was past the planning phase and ready to get started. That was the last time I heard from anyone @ ABQ Landscape. 10 days goes by, leave message asking if the estimate was done. About a month and half later still no response to that or any other messages I've left. I guess they've got all the business they need and didn't want mine. Unfortunately there seems to be an over abundance of contractors in ABQ that think they're doing people a favor by being in business and customers will take that abuse. Yea...that was my unfortunate case when I finally decided to reach out to contractor who could help me with it. After researching contractors online, I called ABQ Landscaping about having someone come out to my property to take a look at potential irrigation/sprinkler leakages and problems with sprinkler system that went off in the middle of the night and they were able to get someone (this was very different from many contractors I reached out to where I felt like I was being put in the backburner by scheduling me a week or more out and they didn't want to give me much priority). Ernie answered my call and did what he promised me which was to give me more details about the time the technician would stop by. He was also prompt and upfront about potential costs/work that may entail. On the day of, Alfredo showed up on time. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Despite me not knowing much about the home (since I recently moved in and not knowing what the previous owner had done...other than everything was dating back to way before 2000s..), Alfredo not only was able to help me identify problem, offer solutions and, in the case of outdated system like my sprinkler control system, recommended the work that could be done as well. Not only that, on the same day, I was able to get some estimates, the breakdown of the work that needed to be done...and get started on the work that was agreed on in addition to the check up. Initially, I thought the work would just me to show me around the remote control and fix very minor thing for an hour, but I was able to get much more from their visit. Ernie was able to have Alfredo stay over to work for the whole remainder of the day to fix and upgraded (where needed) the yard sprinkler/irrigation system at my place.
