I apologized for any offense I had caused, but he was not having it. He effectively said he was not interested in ever doing business with me again, saying 'I hope we never see you again". So, long story, short, unfortunately this is another local business where the harsh realities of trying to make a profit in a tough, increasingly online, market are taken out directly on the consumer, and the consumer is supposed to be happy and meek to be given the opportunity to shop locally. There are good stores to buy wood in Albuquerque at almost half the price. My advice is to save your money, and your sanity, and avoid this business.

Not only has the wood held up extremely well, in our rather brutal weather, it ages nicely and we continue to receive big complements on the wood, and the work :-). Hansen's is also rather GREAT to work with, when very specific needs arise. I have purchased what I need for my for my outdoor pottery class firings, and can safely say NO ONE in town has what I get from them.
