We finally made it in to give them a try. What a cute place. When you walk in you are immediately greeted by all the chefs and servers. It was wonderful. The chairs and booth where super comfy. The colors are wonderful. Now the food. We where so impressed. We started out with the sampler appetizer. This platter could serve 4. We had no idea there was only two of us. Everything was wonderful. You could tell the crab Rangoon are made in house and the chicken sate was tender and delicious. Spring rolls where made from frozen but cooked perfectly. We ordered some our usuals as a way to compare. We had Tom Ka Kai and it did not disappoint. We ordered medium spicy which was perfect because I always love to add the little bird chili's and fish sauce. They also had diced pickled jalapeños which made my sister happy. Of courses dried chili and sugar as well to us. We also ordered chicken Panang curry and basil chicken. Both where full of flavor. We cannot wait to go back and to have it delivered. Overall I enjoyed my experience. They have beer and wine on the menu, but don't try to order it because they will let you know that they don't actually have their liquor license yet. My mom and I had edamame and 3 rolls which we both enjoyed. The sushi was fresh and tasty and I felt was worth the money. The reason I am knocking off 1 star (really should be 2 but trying not to be too harsh) is the layout of the restaurant. The aesthetic is on point and it is very cute, however all of the tables are lined up very close to each other so forget trying to have a quiet dinner or be in an intimate setting. If you're lucky enough to have a kid on an an iPad next to you like we did, at least you'll leave knowing what the latest TikTok trends are. We've heard/read great things about Charm, so we decided to give it a try when we wanted to go out to dinner this past Sunday evening. They were surprisingly busy for a Sunday night, I thought. It was a good sign. The restaurant is in a narrow space; the tables are along the wall to the left, and the open kitchen/register is all along the wall to the right. They've done a great job with the limited space and created a welcoming atmosphere with artificial plants covering an entire wall. Charm has both Japanese and Thai menu options. We ordered the Summer Rolls to start. They were full of goodness, but probably could have been served with much more peanut sauce since they were a little dry. My partner ordered the Pad Thai. It was a very large plate full, enough to bring home to have a 2nd meal. I sampled it and enjoyed the flavor. I ordered sushi for my meal -- the Spicy Tuna roll and the Shrimp Tempura roll. Amazing new Thai and sushi spot in the Horizon West and Windermere area. I moved out here 3 years ago and this is the first Thai and sushi spot in the area. Thankfully, it's a good one! The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is quite narrow but you can either sit at a table or at the bar and look at the open kitchen. If you look through the glass window partitions, you can see how fresh the ingredients are and that freshness really comes through on the dishes. We tried several dishes on multiple occasions and loved them all: - spring rolls - potstickers - satay chicken - sex on the moon roll - traditional Thai iced tea - fresh young coconut - panang curry - pad Thai - volcano chicken (tastes like a crunchy sweet and sour chicken) - pineapple fried rice (on the menu, there's a seafood option but we only wanted shrimp and added chicken). This was amazing. The flavor of the cashews and sweetness of the raisins shined through. My only critique would be that I wish the curries were a bit more thicker as they are a little watery. The flavor is excellent but that's just my personal preference compared to other curries I've tried. I went multiple times with my husband and our newborn son and the server was kind enough to accommodate us with our stroller. The service is excellent and they even remembered us. I ordered sushi to take home. I got hamachi and mango sticky rice. The hamachi was the best! I didn't have high expectations because it's a very simple roll, but it was so flavorful! As for the sticky rice, I'd never had mango sticky rice before, and now I can honestly say I've found my favorite dessert. It is salty, sweet, chewy, and crunchy from the sesame seeds. This is one of the best new restaurants to be added to the area! Love their open concept kitchen and everything is SO delicious! All of their sushi is fresh and rolls are so creative. We also love the shrimp pad Thai. I easily get 2-3 meals out of mine when I order it to go! They also have happy hour on Mondays from 2:30-5:00. Ok.. I decided to go back and this time took my partner with me. I'm sad to say it was not great. He got the pad kee mao which lacked much meat and he ordered it medium and said it was basically mild. I did order the summer rolls, which were good, but they stuck them together so they broke when I had to pull them apart and all the ingredients were falling out. I liked the pad Thai last time so I ended up going with it again but this time it was pretty dry and not that tasty. I also noticed not a lot of meat but it also didn't taste very fresh. I'm sad because I've been wanting a Thai place close by but so far just not impressed. I'll try again maybe in a month or so, but for now I'll probably continue driving to downtown winter garden. read more

If you have not tried Charm yet, get here immediately. Just be aware they are a smaller restaurant so there may be a bit of a wait at certain times. Their service is absolutely amazing, I wasn't sure which Curry to get and they gave me a sample of all 3 before ordering. This is a level of service that is on par with Disney which is across the street essentially. Check out their Happy Hour which is Mon - Fri. The Dragon Roll is my favorite sushi here. The Crab Rangoons are some of the best I've ever had. read more

Don't let my 4-star rating review make you think this restaurant is not good. It's actually a good restaurant. In fact, it's the best Thai restaurant in the Winter Garden/ Windermere area. As a Thai person, I tend to be picky about my food, but I can say that this is the best Thai restaurant in the Winter Garden/Windermere area. The Pad Thai was delicious, though slightly too sour for my taste. If you prefer it less sour, you can easily adjust it with the fish sauce and/or chili flakes that come with the spice rack at the restaurant. The crab fried rice was also very good, but the crab tasted different than the one we had at another restaurant with the same owner. We preferred the other one, but this one was still good. I also ordered the Pad-Se-Ew for takeout, and it was great. It's a perfect option when I don't feel like cooking but still want some Thai food. The service is excellent, and the restaurant is decorated very nicely, even though it's small. I wish people would go to this place more as I know the rent is so expensive in this area and we don't have any good Thai restaurants around here. read more

I've always been leery about Thai food that has a sushi menu attached to it. It does seem par for the course in the South/SouthEast. I do miss the more authentic menu items that distinguish North and South Thai cuisine, but for the more conventional American palate, this place is it. I mean REALLY it. It's SO good. I've traveled to Thailand, multiple times over the course of my life, and these guys take their craft seriously. Service itself was top notch! I really enjoy the food here, but I do have to mention that I have found grizzle in my chicken the last couple of visits. Usually grizzle would be a complete dealbreaker for me, but I have returned because I think they do a great job with flavor profile. With that being said, I hope that this review will help the owners see that patrons don't want to be spitting pieces of their chicken out in a napkin. I probably won't return if it happens for a third time because meat quality is a HUGE deal for me and my family. I really enjoy this restaurant and their Pad Thai is AMAZING, so looking forward to hopefully having better experience next time! The restaurant always seems to be understaffed as well in terms of service. The one younger woman seems to be the only server every time we are there and doesn't always write things down, confusing our order a couple of times. It makes the experience a little hectic and unorganized, so potentially getting some extra help or finding a way to be a little more methodical and calm would go a long way. It's a small restaurant and people want a relaxed meal. She is very nice however, and we really want this business to succeed, so hoping the feedback is helpful! Our party of 3 did not like any of our meals. All chicken dishes (stir fry, pad Thai, and a pineapple dish). The chicken tasted very old, like leftover for days, with a stiff rubbery texture. Love the long shotgun style restaurant on such an unseemly strip mall but once you enter you feel its comfort and high end appeal. The kitchen and cooks are right on top of you and I love that feel, like being in your own kitchen with family and friends. The sushi was mostly rice with very little fish. It was fresh, but for the price unacceptable. The pad thai had no flavor at all. This is supposed to be the national dish and it was barely edible. We ordered for the first time via ubereats and we got the jumbo crab fried rice, chicken pad thai and chicken tom yum. The positives: they can make gluten free options, huge portions and the tom yum soup is delicious. It was salty, spicy, sweet and sour, everything i was looking for! The downside: the fried rice and pad thai had no heat (there were no options on ubereats to choose the heat level, we expected at least mild) at all or much flavor/salt. I ended up adding coco aminos and sambal to enjoy it. The reason they got 3 stars is bec of the positives i outlined above however i don't think we'll be back for awhile. I'm pretty disappointed since i was hoping to have a good thai place closer than Soong Thai. read more
