I specifically chose this office because I was told when scheduling that nitrous oxide (laughing…read moregas) would be available and used. That was a major factor for me. When I arrived, I was told they either wouldn't use it or "most likely" wouldn't be able to. That kind of last-minute change is not a small detail--it completely changes the experience for patients who rely on it. What concerned me more was the push toward procedures that didn't seem necessary. I was referred to an oral surgeon to remove a peg tooth that does not need to be removed, even after I clearly said I wasn't interested. It was still put on the referral anyway. I was also told I needed multiple crowns, but another dentist later confirmed those were not necessary. There were additional treatments presented in a way that made them seem required, which didn't sit right with me. Another issue was transparency. I was not walked through my x-rays or shown where any of these supposed problems were. Patients should absolutely insist on seeing and understanding their imaging before agreeing to treatment. There were also inconsistencies with insurance information. I was told my insurance wouldn't cover panoramic x-rays, but another dentist had no issue getting them covered. After my visit, I noticed similar concerns mentioned in other reviews, which unfortunately aligns with what I experienced. Between the inconsistent communication and questionable treatment recommendations, I left feeling very uneasy. I would strongly encourage anyone considering treatment here to get a second opinion before moving forward.

Moreover, they have the nerve to have me on a call & email list to remind me of annual services or that they haven't seen me in awhile, smh. Officially going on a block list. That made me hopeful that the whole experience would be the same - and it was. From the friendly (though stressed) receptionist, to Dr. St. Martin herself, to Rose, the hygienist, and the alternate receptionist who set up my next appointment, they are the most welcoming and friendly staff I've ever met, yet still very professional. Dr. St. Martin was thorough in her explanation of the health of my teeth and mouth, and asked me a couple of times if I had any questions. As she left me so Rose could come and clean my teeth, she wished me well and again said, "If you have any questions or need anything, have them get me and I'll come back." Wha-a-a-t?!? So awesome. I have Kaiser, and the co-pay of $30 is very reasonable. They advise a panoramic x-ray on first visit, for an additional $43, which I declined. The ONLY downside, and it isn't their fault, is the major construction project happening on three sides of their small building. It really limits access and they are going to expand their parking once all the fences are gone. Speaking of parking, I advise if you're approaching from Royal Farms side, to just go past the business and turn around at a nearby spot like the All-American Steakhouse. I would NOT try to turn left into their parking lot! All in all, I am supremely glad I read about Dr. St. Martin elsewhere, and decided to give her a try. Excellent dentist and all around great experience. Bonus: if I had to, I could easily walk from home - it's just about a mile.

As I was a new patient, as soon as I walked in staff was incredible from start to finish! Welcoming and super friendly. The entire office is SPECTACULAR and very luxurious. I thought I've never say those two things regarding a dental office but Dr Moon did a great job with everything interior wise and everything. As far as Dr Moon himself, he was VERY THOROUGH (which I love when a doctors are knowledgeable and takes their time in explaining) personable. It was obvious the rooms were designed with the patient's comfort in mind. I'm not a fan of dental visits, but this office has changed my view. I was first taken to get x-rays done which was a smooth process. The cleaning came next. However, on May 26, I showed up on time for a 7 am appointment and asked the lady at the front desk a question about insurance. I wanted a cost comparison between their smile insurance and my medical insurance that paid 50% of preventive care. She tried to help me and got on the phone and tried to get answers. It turned out that she was talking with the Billing manager in the same office, who should have came out her office and talk with me. As this was being addressed they came to get me for my appointment at 7:15 am. ( It should be noted that they were not ready for me at 7am) I suggested that I can go back and get my teeth taken care of and settle payment afterwards when they are able to tell me which insurance plan was cheaper. Apparently I was not able to get treated until payment was handled. When my questions and concerns were not being addressed to my satisfaction the Billing Manager eventually came out of her office and asked me to come to her office. She was able to satisfactory answer my questions. This process would have been much easier if she took the time to come out and address my questions in person at the start. I went back to the front desk and handed over a credit card to purchase the smile insurance plan for my wife and I. As the payment is being processed the Billing Manager came up to me and said that they were not going to be able to complete the preventive care because so much time had past within my allowed appointment time. She blamed me for the delays and that it was my fault for not giving them the insurance information earlier. Payment was never an issue and this business manager could care less that my wife and I have been patents for years with no issues of payment. They refused to allow me to keep my appointment when I was there on time. Based on the way I was treated by this Billing Manager my wife and I made appointments with another dentist provider.

I was super nervous about that thanks to horror stories online but it was gentle, fast, and the work looks pristine! I'm in little to no pain, alert, and was out within a little over an hour.
