    A VERY rude banker

    I am a loyal customer with Chase for over 15 years since college, I've been having great experience with Chase and Chase has been the only personal and business bank so far. But today my personal banking experience in La Puente branch was very heart breaking. Here is my story, thank you for spend time to read it through. So I tried to wire my money last Friday (2/25) in one of the Chino Hills branch because I am buying a house I like a lot and try to beat all other offers, but the banker made a mistake so the wire didn't go through. I went to Azusa chase branch today to solve it, banker Samuel Sun was very patient and he apologized to me about the other banker's mistake and tried to help me out, and even wanted return the wire transfer fee since it wasn't my mistake. But there was a system issue at Azusa branch and they couldn't issue the wire. Samuel suggested to try the nearest La Puente or Walnut branch since it was almost 4 pm, and i really need this wire issued before the end of day today. I arrived La Puente branch before 4 pm and there was no line at all. When I entered the lobby and explained what i want to do, banker Ana L.Arguete (ID: 723909) responded very rudely that she said "we can't help you here, you must go back to Chino Hills branch". Then I asked her why the Azusa branch said they can help me without me going back to Chino Hills branch but due to system issue they couldn't do it today. She responded, "then you just should go back to Azusa branch, why you come here, our system is down too and we can't do it". The whole time she was VERY rude and impatient, no sign of any customer service at all. (I suggest if you guys can check the surveillance video about how she works, it's a very very bad example about Chase' customer service that I never had before) Then I requested to see the manager on site, she responded, "manager is very busy and he doesn't have time to see you". I didn't want to waste my time to argue so I just simply asked for manager's information that i can reach out afterwards. She said, "no, i don't have any contact information for you". I exited the lobby and went to Walnut branch due to it's close to 5 pm and Sophie Hao from Walnut branch helped me with my wire transfer there. The experience I had today from La Puente branch was an example of unprofessional, rude, impatient customer service. This totally ruin my day and only due to her attitude to Chase customer, and I don't even know how many others out there had the same experience like I had. I am really appreciate all the hard work from Chase during this COVID 19 hard time. But people who can keep their job should have a good positive attitude about their customer service.     When I first heard they where going to put robots inside the bank I cautious. Turns out humans hate robots!!! They rather trust a live person to do their transaction. Yea atms are usefull, but If a person is willing to stand in line for, hmm I don't know 25+ minutes, they must really not want to deal with an atm; and atm they can use outside. Open the old windows back up. Get rid of your indoor roobots!! Thanks

    Kind of tight parking. However very convenient with lots of outdoor ATMs to help you get in and out. Wish there was a drive thru ATM though.

    NOTHING HAS CHANGED since the past 1 star reviews of having only ONE teller…read more I've had no issues in the past with the ATMs here, which I mainly go for. But the one time I had to run actual "bank errands", I was trapped in a super long wait of a line and there were only 2 people ahead of me. It wasn't even that the person was super incompetent, I feel. It's just the nature of having to confirm and count things a jillion times, getting the checks and paperwork in the back. One of the desk workers to the side tried to reduce the number of people in the line with speaking to each one with an iPad, but I feel like if you're in line for "bank errands" and not a simple task, you're screwed. I was already pretty annoyed with how long it took since I had an appointment I was late for afterwards. I can't imagine the 10 people behind me. This place GOTTA hire more tellers or have more on staff. Think about it psychologically. People are already annoyed that they have to take time out of their day to this kinda stuff (you know since the bank is only open for limited hours on the weekends - NOT Sundays, and unless you get out of work super early, regular wagies can't make it) and now they're forced to wait for ages since there's only 1 worker working. You're gonna have some one mald insanely one day if it hasn't already.

I tend to go back to 1st banker that I signed on with & I have never had any issue. Robert is always in a good mood, greets me at the door with a smile & makes the most mundane activity enjoyable. I am back & forth with WA- CA & I like to take care of the majority of my banking with him in CA since I have always had a great experience. When I do use the teller, they are always friendly. No matter what, I am always greeted at the door. This location does have a few ATM's right outside, which is well lit & perfect for 24/ hour needs. They are convenient for money exchange. I just call ahead a few days for when I am traveling out of town to request the money I need for a different currency. If I ever lose my card, which is often, I can get a new one in just a few minutes. I always have a good experience & because of that I will always come back.

And it's concerning to me that this particular bank doesn't seem to know or care about the illegal activity. Lots of cameras but nobody can find this person huh? I live hundreds of miles away from this bank yet the same thief is able to take my money out at your ATM. Pretty interesting if you really think about it. Maybe there's others who have been stolen from here, at this bank. Would not surprise me. Don't let that one star fool you it's more like -10 stars. If you see something, say something don't just sweep it under the rug.
