The Tujunga branch of chase has a new manager who is rude, impolite and uncaring of customers. He yelled at a lady who was by he entrance talking on the phone a bit loud. He threatened her to refuse to let her in if she continued to speak loud on the phone by the bank entrance. The lady moved to the side of the doors & still he told her that it was to close to the entrance and to hang up or leave the area. I was sitting in the car waiting for my brother & couldn't believe it. Who the heck this fool think he is, the owner of the bank? UNBELIEVABLE Where did they found this unmannered idiot ? Every time I come here there is always a long line. I have figured out how to do online baking and transfers so I don't have to come visit this branch. They only ever have only 2 tellers open. They leave the middle one closed cus of COVID. I don't recommend coming here unless you have a least half an hour. read more

I hated this branch when it was Washington Mutual. Since they have changed to Chase, I thought I would give them a try. So far I can't complain, every time I come here there are NO LONG LINES which is fantastic. The ATM is always OPEN if I need something. Mobil banking is great... The only one thing I have to say I didn't quite like was that the lady who signed me up didn't tell me that when I first pay a bill with the online bill pay, my payment has to be $25??! So I made a deposit of $100 when I opened my account.. and then she signed me up to pay 2 bills which where $25.00 each so then by the time I left the bank I already spent $50?! Strange but whatever.. This is my second checking bank account. So I probably won't be using it much. I just like the Chase Application which lets me deposits checks directly from my iphone... It's a feature which I think it's pretty cool.. Hope they continue to have ok service. read more

This is the worst chase bank to go. The manager is a Armenian lady. She is so rude I do not understand Chase's standard of hiring methods. Here is my list of complaints: 1. I am upset because the workers at this bank do not want to work. They are on their cell phones pretending to be doing something more important. When you ask a question to the workers on the desk they give attitude because I disrupted him when he was surfing the web. 2. They talk to each other and laugh at each other while all the customers wait in line. They pretend like they don't see you. And make you wait in line. They think they are entitled to talk to customers in such a rude manner. I do not understand what gives them the right to talk to customers in such a rude manner. 3. Also, I noticed that if you are not Armenian they treat you differently. I noticed this behavior several times. I never said anything about it before. But enough is enough. I called them out on out poor customer service skills and I stood up to their rudeness and put their manners in check. Chase needs to hire a whole new staff at this branch. It is getting out of hand. That manager chick needs to buy clothes that fit. It is disgusting that she wears clothes that do not fit. Yuck!! I will never go to this place. read more

JUST when I was about to open a a Chase account - NEVERMIND. Two bank tellers on a Friday at 9am, not to mention it's the first of the month. Strike 1. I decided to come back two hours later, hoping the line would be shorter than 15 people. Luckily it was, but it built up again right after me. Still two tellers. I have my cash and deposit slip handy and filled out, and I explain that I do not have an account with Chase, but that I'm depositing cash into someone else's account. There was the first "unfortunately." He explained that as of (whatever date), you can't deposit cash into a Chase account if you're not on the account. I realize this wasn't his fault, I'm just relaying how ridiculous that is. Anyhow, he explains I can deposit into his account if I have a chase debit card. I don't. I do not have Chase. Once again. He says I have the option of depositing a personal check, so I explain the problem is that the funds need to be readily available to the recipient since he has to use that money within the hour. He explains that since it would be a small deposit, it would be available for them to spend immediately. Great! I call the recipient on my way back to work.... And guess what? The check is pending, and none of the money is available. Bravo, Chase. I actually favor Bank of America (which is known to be the worst of banks) over you. read more

I have been banking here since I moved to my current Tujunga address in 2001, so I thought that I would leave a general positive comment. This bank handles savings and checking accounts for me, and has done a home improvement loan as well. Their personal bankers who help with random issues are professional and caring. I have always had good experiences here even with simple issues such as check cashing. Staff seems to be well-coached in customer service. I read comments on this bank which oddly take Armenian employees to task, but most of the employees here that I have dealt with over the years have been Armenians and they have always been friendly and professional with me. I also do 90% of my ATM business here and never had any issues. read more

Never go here after 5:00, there's one teller, a long line and bunch of employees standing by the door greeting you and talking amongst themselves. It's annoying. Instead of standing and continuously apologizing about the line, how about you open up? I have been a customer at this location for years. It used to be a Home Savings of America until it was bought out by Washington Mutual. Washington Mutual has since been taken over by Chase. The tellers are competent, and friendly enough. Though since the changeover to Chase the atmosphere has become less personal with all the glass dividers. I like the fact that they are so close to my office and I never have to wait more than 2 minutes to be helped. They rarely have a line at this location. I was last here a week ago to cash some checks that I had been holding onto. While waiting for my transaction to process, I asked the teller if it would be possibly to deposit my coins as well. He informed me that although they do not do it unless they are rolled, he would do it anyway. I did not have many, but it was enough to make my bag super heavy. People here are nice enough but they are so slow. Setting up a business checking account took literally over 3 hours and since I didn't have that extra time, it took 3 trips back. I then had to come back to add a dba to my business account, which took another hour. And as a new business owner who is investing a ton of money into opening up my business, taking $10 a month out of my bank account is bullshit. I will give them a little longer to redeem themselves but I will most likely be switching banks. read more

It's your typical Chase branch location. However I love the integrity of the workers at this location. I recently had a check be sent to me that I felt would be sketchy and possibly a scam. I showed the workers at this location prior to depositing it into my account. And low and behold they speculated that it was also a fraudulent check that would end up freezing my account later on. They really helped me avoid more issues with Chase, as I've had some with workers prior. I usually use the atm, but am confident that when I need help they will be able to help me. My only note is this location is pretty much always packed. read more

He informed me about the benefits of each type of every credit card and advised me to get the one that will work for me better. the branch manager of the chase bank on Tujunga has really poor customer service, I got a draft and she send me to customer service then I call again and she heard that I was mad and speaking louder so she told she was going to check my account balance and give me a callback, which she never did. and the Armenian girl is really bad I guess they forgot what means to great a client and be grateful.the only who were trying and had a decent customer service were two young latinos. someone is not doing his or her work good as regional manager maybe or put the wrong people in charge. read more
