Went into the bank, the manager J. S. is watching his banker talk to customer. My teller cant help me do a wire transfer, she she calls him. J.S. ignores her, continues to have small talk, i wait another 10 minutes, than being late to work, i ask him if he can help us with the wire transfer. He says hes busy, i look at him with a dumb founded face seing him have small talk with his bankers client. He then hesitatedly, walks over to his desk "to help us" yet anotber 20 minutes hes doing work. Now if he actually had urgent matters to attend to, why was he not doing it before i asked him for help? It wasnt until i went to him, that he left his small talk. Doing a wire has lasted me 5 minutes, after 40 minutes i had to leave (this was at 10 am, the bank was completely empty, literally 4 employees 3 customers. The Citi bank in Glendale is 100 times better, take an extra 10 minutes drive there. It will take you less time read more

I have been extremely impressed with Citibank. Julio, Ashley, Diana, Gina, and Susanna are all extremely friendly and attentive to every client. I personally saw Diana help a disabled customer and treat him with dignity when he needed assistance I switched my business checking to this branch when they had some generous promotions for new accounts. Usually when I stop by this Citibank branch there are 3 tellers and only 3 customers. Very short wait. What a refreshing experience compared to Bank of America that has 2 tellers and 20 people in line angrily waiting forever. Bottom line is Citibank is the best kept secret for customers living on the Sunland Tujunga area. read more

Somebody fraudulently used my identity to open an account in my name. I had to call Citibank 8 times because I was constantly transferred and left on hold indefinitely, only to be disconnected after 25 minutes or so. This is awful customer service! I would never open an account with them! Also, I suspect all their customer service calls are transferred overseas. Americans don't need jobs. read more

I would give this 0 stars if yelp let me! This banks staff have the worst customer service a bank can have! I opened an account with them online because they were too lazy to help me open one in the branch! I deposited a check with them and had to wait a week to receive the funds in my account a week finally went by I received my funds but I did not receive a card in the mail after i was promised by the staff member Jeffery Juan I would receive it the same day I received my funds in my account! When I walked in the front door to withdrawal money Jeffery juan and another bank teller laughed at me while i walked in the front door. Very unprofessional I would say! I went to a different branch hoping for different results I received a temporary card that didn't even work when I tried using it at any restaurant or business! Also the the branch manger at this location is the worst of them all he showed no effort to help any of his guest/customers and he had a sh*t attitude when I tried to speak to him about opening an account with them in person! I highly recommend not banking with this bank they are the worst bank in LA and I'm glad they're closing down on October 6 2023! read more

Just recently opened a new account online. First off, it was close to 2 weeks before I recieved my bank card in the mail. Then I had to wait another week for pin # to arrive. I made the mistake of using their mobile app to deposit 2 checks Thursday, thinking I'd be able to access my $ the next day. NOT!! Friday came and went, my $ is still not available. I called customer service to try and cancel check deposit because I needed my $. Of course, they said no. Because they were reviewing the checks. I asked, if I physically went in to the bank, with my checks, would I have to wait 4 days before I got my $? She said no, they would have cashed it then. SO WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE!!?? Its the same checks I posted! Mobile check deposit for convenience my A$$!! Nothing convenient about being broke for the weekend. I was told I could possibly be able to access some of my money Saturday. And she was right, I now have access to "some" of my money; all of $10.00. No. It's not a typo. $10.00 is the amount that's available to me. What a freaking joke!!! I'm closing my account and taking my $ to Chase. read more

The ill mannered branch manager on Dec 17th 2018 @ 2:05 p.m was uncivil and impolite behavior. I went to cash a check from a client of mine who banks with "CITIBANK" At the teller the manager was called over. He takes my ID from the teller, investigates the ID and in a crude voice says your ID is not the right color? I answered ok? I have nothing to do with that Sir. (DMV) Manager tells me, not to be rude... What?? Manager all worked up for nothing? Must of been having a rough morning, says let's finish this transaction and get you out of here! I answered, why are you being rude and treating me like a criminal? (Again my ID was the wrong color) I ask for his name, he comes around the lobby and hands me a card. I politely ask for him to place it on the counter, and he says Nope.. & walks away. I was Carrying my three-year-old daughter. The manager was at work and acted like he was at a bar trying to pick a fight? I work for a bank institution in the fraud department. If any of my coworkers ever acted that way, they will be immediately TERMINATED! He tells the teller to write down my name and address? and comes outside the bank and writes down my license plate. What is he going to do? Look me up? That is alarming? I will never bank with CITIBANK. HE NEVER PROVIDED HIS Identity. read more

I like this bank, to be honest I have been coming here since I was a child. I remember paying in the queue as a child with my sister while my mother managed her accounts. My mother had passed so every time i step into the bank i think happy thoughts of my mom. I have had account here for over 10 years. The staff is friendly and has always helped me out. I had money stolen from my account and the back helped me get my money back within two days. I do not mind paying a fee because when I had a free account at other banks they would hold my checks or not offer fraud protection. This location is my favorite Montrose comes in second. read more

If I could rate zero starsI would. This has been the worst banking experience of my life. There are 2 bankers here and the both have to work with one the same customer at one time it's a joke. If you want to wait to see a banker 30-40 mins come in. I started a home equity line in the beginning of April it's been screwed up one time cause banker did not know the guild lines. Had to restart it yep run the credit again!!! Woohoo! Good job. It's still not been processed. This bank is a joke. read more

This Tujunga Citi Branch is one of the best banks I have ever Been to. I have been banking with them since 2011 and not a single problem if i have had an issue or a question i always get help with ought attitude. My Recent Experience was Maybe Last Week i needed some advice about opening new accounts An BRIAN one of CITI PERSONAL BANKERS assisted me every step of the way and Explained everything in detail. I got exactly what I wanted. The next day i went back to Thank Bryan but he was Unavailable so the branch Manger Debbie Took the time to speak to me and gave me great information and printed me out some direct deposit forms i needed for work. Shout out to the branch manager JULIO. Wow. What a refreshing experience, an actual pleasant experience opening up an account. JULIO and the entire staff (I believe her name was Jasmine) were extremely pleasant and helpful. Julio is an amazing human being, extraordinary manager. In my short time there, at least a dozen customers came to greet him (and he greeted them all by first name). A special, incredible branch. Keep it up! read more

Are you serious ...you people who gave this " bank " a good rating?? I was there last week and a line of 12-15 people were irritate that they had only 2 tellers .....it wasn't the first time i came here to pay my mortgage ... over 25 years this branch and the one in La Cresenta have had the worst coustomer service... they dont give a damn i guess.....yea i know i could have mailed my payment in , but i want to keep my bank records up to date....asap. the people wating in line made there concerns knows the one teller " the bank manager " came out from behind the cage to defend her people....at this time all the people in line complained ...cause now there was only ONE teller working....I wont come back and if you visit ...bring a book to read ...you might just finish it before its your turn.....P.S to be honest when Citibank had their branch inside the old Albertsons across from in and out burger it was the most efficient brantch and i loved going there...even if it was to give them money ....Citibank doesn't give a rats ass about customer service .... read more
