On July 10, 2025, I went to a Chase ATM to deposit cash. I made two deposits. The first deposit of $700 was successfully processed. The second deposit of $5,300 caused the ATM to encounter an error. The transaction was not processed, and the ATM did not return my cash. I immediately contacted Chase and reported the issue. I followed up multiple times, but Chase denied my claim and did not return the missing funds. I also requested the ATM camera footage from the time of the transaction, but Chase refused to provide it. I believe the bank has not properly investigated this matter. I am requesting assistance from the CFPB to ensure a fair review of my case and to have my missing $5,300 returned. read more

One of my favorite Chase locations here in Westminster. Sometimes i stop here passing by not very far from where i go to work. The Atm machines are always working with no problems. Downside here, is there are not very many tellers to help us customers here. But i rarily ever have to go inside the bank for anything because i can transfer funds, make deposits or withdrawals all on my own. All in all, i have had no problems here. read more

Went to this branch 2 weeks ago with my mom to open a checking account for myself. My mom and I had a bad experience. The banker name Peter opened an account for me and he loves to talk. Which is fine but let us talk and ask questions. He opened me a college checking account and end up convincing me to Open a saving account which I do not mind. But he applied a credit card for me and my mom. For me the freedom if I use $500 I get $250. Sapphire for my mom she will get $800 and say we can cancel it anytime. My application got declined. When I call customer service they say I don't have enough credit. I just turn 18 Not happy I got wrong information from Peter. Should have apply for student credit card. P.s. Hands down the worst branch to place your business accounts. Tediously long processes to make simple adjustments on your account. I've never had a harder time accessing my own money than with this branch. The only person who seems willing to help is Thinh but his superior Maria seems to be the complete opposite. Almost as if she is committed towards not helping clients and making their lives harder. When Thinh encountered an issue, he was quick to the phone to get answers. However during my most recent appointment with Maria, she did not lift a finger to help resolve the issues present. The Branch Manager of this branch doesn't qualify to hold that position. Her teller made a mistake, she as a Branch Manager should fix that mistake, instead she wanted pass the issues back on to the customer. Why make the mistake of the employee become a problem that can't be fix by the customer? Ridiculous. This BM can use some common sense and some sense of responsibility. A simple problem that can be fix by her but can not be fix by the customer, if she is a person with common sense and is a responsible Branch Manager she would apologize then fix the mistake that caused by her teller. She admitted that it was their mistake but refused to fix that mistake but make the mistake that they made became an unfix able problem for the customer disqualified her a Branch Manager. You should fix the problem created by the mistake of your employee, it's part of your job as a Branch Manager. These guys have great service....If you're a private client like my dad is. They welcome my dad with welcome arms when he walks in. HOWEVER, they seem to have too many accounts already or have parties to go to since the doorkeeper, MARIA, declined to assist me with opening an account for me and my 8month. She looked at her watch and saw that it was 3:25 and said come back another day. Seemed very rude and impersonal to me. I am completely disgusted by what I just saw inside this Chase branch. An elderly gentleman was discussing his personal finances with a "personal banker" or whatever his title is that is replaced by automatic tellers in the middle of the open Lobby talking about deposits he needs to make money transfers he needs to make. And cash he needs to take out of the bank account as if they were talking about Monopoly money. First of all we should take better care where elderly people he came in to handle his finances expecting to see a teller face-to-face and ended up having this discussion in the middle of the lobby where anyone and everyone heard every detail of the conversation. Second of all I know you're making more money as a bank by not having real personal service and making people handle their financial transactions at a computer but why did he have to ask 3 times to actually talk to a teller rather than whatever this guy's title was? DO NOT BANK AT THIS BRANCH. I love Chase in general, but please go somewhere else. This branch would AVOID to help you if you didn't open the account at their location. I came here to get a temporary check because my first batch of checks has never arrived, and I needed the check urgently to pay someone. The manager, Corrin, asked if I opened the account there or not. Since I opened it in Irvine, the manager charged me $2 for one temp check(which means she could have waived it if she wanted to, but why??? "He opened it somewhere else!!"). I told her that the checks Chase ordered for me has never arrived. She ignored. She said if I wanted the fee to be waived then I should upgrade my account to a higher tier. She then transferred me to Cody LeNguyen-the "Relationship Banker". Cody looked into my account and asked "I heard that you wanted to upgrade the account. Do you have enough money for this?". Excuse me? Weren't you guys trained properly to profile customers in a more polite way? Small issues but worst customer service coming from the top down. This bank does not deserve to even have one star. I bank with Chase for 23 years and never would I imagine that I would be treated so wrong until I went through ID Theft. Within less than 24 hours this bank allowed 26 transactions to happen without notifying me of any alert. On top of that they had several over draft charges. We went into this branch that next morning to report it. The Rep use the term loosely "we will look into it. You should have set alerts to avoid this." Really? I didn't know Chase only likes to have Tech Savvy customers. I didn't know setting alerts is mandatory. It's supposed to be a perk! Most banks would freeze the account if they were to see a few suspicious transactions. No alerts needed. It's what bank should do to protect their customers. If you set alert good that's an extra perk. But bank should still do their job protecting their assets which is their customers! It immediately made us feel that she will not do anything to help us. On the same day we went into a different branch to report of the same situation. The branch manager there put in a claim and have us sign papers. Big difference from Westminster branch. Three days later when we haven't heard of any update we went back to this branch and the Rep said "oh your claim have been denied." Had we not went in we would never know!!?? We asked for a 2nd claim to be put in ASAP. It was very upsetting that Chase did not even bother to really look into it and investigate properly. Days after we report of this Chase still allow this thief to hack into our account and change the mailing address and all personal info. They freeze the account and we were told that our direct dep would not go through. Some how one deposit went through. Again instead of calling to notify us Chase cut a check and just mailed it out to the wrong address. The address the thief changed it to! Rep, branch manager, called check Dept they all confirm it went to wrong address . We escalate to their complaint Dept. The manager at Chase complaint Dept called me next morning and lied to us. She said it was sent to our correct address and it was never going to wrong address. Really? We had 3 people who confirm that same incorrect and she really think she can cover Chase's mistake? How were 26 transactions happen without a pin #? For all we know Chase could have given to this person who called in? Someone at Chase could be in on this!!! How can this many mistakes happen and they can still act so rude?!?? We are the victim of ID theft and the way they talk to us as if we're criminal. They're cold and heartless and our family is suffering from all our money stolen. Our bills were late. We had to borrow our families money for groceries. I had to go through so much for 4.5 weeks for me to realize how I terrible and awful Chase is. I will NEVER EVER do business with chase ever again. They do not protect their customers accounts and try to report anything they find all sort of excuses. They will do what it takes to cover their asses. Yet did nothing to protect our Identity. Old review: Considering i have a business account with chase and have been going to this particular bank a minimum of two times a week, their customer service is not pleasant. I usually wait in the normally customer line but they kept encouraging me to wait in the business line. One day, after 10-15 minutes of waiting in the business line (there was only one person in front of me) I asked if I should just wait in the normal line. The guy puckered up his lips and just nodded. Then I went to the normal line and then was told to go to the business line. I'm confused. What would they wish for me to do... I guess I just got unlucky with my bank reps because other people say they are quite friendly. Maybe I caught them on a bad day? The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced at Chase. I called the branch and asked for Vanessa. The person who picked up the phone attempted to transfer me, but no one answered. I called again and someone else at the branch picked up, but immediately hung up the phone. I called a third time to see if someone hung up by accident, but to no avail. And sometimes the inside can become very sketchy too.I think it's just due to the area that said but the bank itself and the help there is very nice. I can tell by all the one star reviews of this branch that it's not just me. I've been a Chase customer for many years, and the bankers at my original branch couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. They never failed to bend over backwards to make sure that whatever I needed was taken care of. That's why I was so glad to learn that there was a Chase branch near my new home in Westminster. If only I'd known. Never, at any bank I've ever dealt with, have I ever seen such poor customer service or felt so disrespected. The first time I went there was to change the address on my accounts. I wasn't aware that I needed to sign in to be seen by a banker because I had never had to do that before. Okay, shame on me for not seeing the sign in book (even though there were no signs calling it out). But I sat there for nearly an hour while people who arrived after me were being taken care of, and all of the bankers saw me there. Not one of them asked if I needed help or told me that I needed to sign in. When I finally did get to see a banker, I pointed out my frustration, and did not even get an acknowledgement let alone an apology. During this visit, I also requested paper-free statements going forward, and they failed to take care of that. Today, I went to the branch to have two documents notarized, a very simple formality at any bank for its customers. Not at this branch. I was told very rudely that to have anything notarized, I would need an appointment. I literally thought the woman was kidding me, but she certainly was not. This was the last straw. This is my favorite chase location to go to. My family switch from Bank of America to Chase due to the excellent customer service, especially Dang at this location. I have referred a couple of my friend to this location to open account and everyone loved the service. I have been a loyal customer for 6 years and hope to be for a long time.
