I had some minor issues about a month or two in and as a tenant, you can go into your app/portal and file a service request. This process was SO EFFICIENT!! I was able to choose multiple times I was available for issues to be handled and whenever I did have a problem, it was rectified in a timely manner. Sue was my point person throughout my experience renting from Modern Property Management. She always showed concern for my issues and addressed any problem I may have had. I finally met her in person on my walk-through when I moved out (heading back to NY) and it was such a pleasure! She constantly dodges responsibility and points to the HOA board whenever a real issue comes up. It feels like she's more focused on avoiding problems than solving them. I've tried to be patient, but I keep hitting the same wall.The communication is cold, and sometimes even rude. I've received incorrect information just to move the conversation along. That's not just unprofessional, it's careless. And when I've raised concerns, they've been brushed off like they weren't important. I don't know if this is how the whole company operates or if it's just her, but either way, it leaves a lot to be desired. When someone is the face of the company, professionalism and basic customer service should be non-negotiable. Sadly, that has not been my experience.
