Terrible is all I have to say about the management. Lived in my condo 5 years and had a 12m lease. Was served a no cause eviction notice and tried to call the office and they are just ignoring me. All I was trying to get was a copy of my lease. This is nothing new however. If you can ever get ahold of them good luck getting anything done. Where to begin. This is for Landlords and for Renters. We were Landlords and we were recommended this company by our Realtor. We were paired with a PM, Phil, who was nice at first. Our first renters fell through and he took it upon himself to rent our home to 4 individuals, who paid separately every month, and never discussed it with us. The rent from Chase was never on time even though the rent had been paid. When there were issues he had his people come in and charged us outrageous amounts for things to be repaired. I started to question why is this so expensive and why aren't you using our home warranty...I received no answer He got very frustrated with me. It got to where he wouldn't return my calls or even my texts. We were told that if the yard was not kept up, they would hire a yard crew...the yard was not taken care of so I began to call and text weekly about having a yard crew take care of the yards, no reply. I had my husband call and Phil answered and was asked have you driven by the house...could you drive by once a week and the reply, "I have 70 houses to take care of I can't do that ever week" We were mortified. We are paying you X amount of money every month and his next reply "no one will take care of your house like you would." I finally contacted the business office and got a good person and she has been helping me. As June our renters have moved out, we have taken over the PM of our property and found out that the HOA dues were almost $200 in arrears...and today I got all the final bills and am questioning the charges that were charged to our renters deposit. When we went into the house it was very clean, but the yard was a nightmare. We, ourselves, cleaned up the yard, trimmed and cut back the shrubs mowed the lawn and had to trim up the trees because there were so heavy the limbs were on the ground. There is once again an outrageous bill for work being charged that I can tell you WAS NOT DONE! Renters and Landlords, beware of this company. Check your invoices, receipts and make sure you know what is happening and question what is happening with YOUR money. I would never recommend this company for anything. I am thrilled to be rid of them and feel sorry for anyone who hasn't done their research before doing ANY business with this company. read more

If I could not leave a star I wouldnt. Rented a home from the for about 4yrs and along the way alot of issues accured. First we were noticing charges on the account that werent valid and when we asked about it they would say they are correct. I would screenshot every transaction and sent it to them. Then they would say we have to review. Guess what....we were correct and then fixed it. This happened more than once and everytime, they were wrong. Then to ice the cake, we were given a 30 day no cause eviction but then on day 14 we were served a 24hr locke out! With my 3 children, this was beyond devastating. I had one representative tell me one thing in person then totally different when I emailed or texted. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN. read more

If you rent from these greedy scumbags, make sure you take a picture of EVERYTHING! Chase is going to try and take every penny they can from you. They stole over $600 from my deposit because they "found" things to fix after I left. I left the place in better condition, and cleaner than when I moved in. Their auto-pay didn't work one month, so I missed a payment (not my fault). I followed up as soon as possible, explaining the situation. I had to pay a late fee, leaving a mark on my rental history, and they made me pay cash through a 7-11 store for the next 6-months. They charge a ridiculous fee if you hand them a check. They made the system difficult so they charge people extra. I wouldn't be surprised if the error in auto-pay was done intentionally. read more

Do not use or rent from chase international property management. If we had an issue they would take forever to take care of it. Then they wanted to send three different companies to do estimates on the issue. Therefore we had to schedule to be at the house to accommodate the contractor. We left the residence spotless. But they kept our entire $1,200 deposit to paint the entire interior of the residence and cleaning fees. Again, avoid this property management at all costs. read more

It started out a little wonky, during the lease it was good, towards the end of the lease was a disaster. Trying to make a move from California in 2015. We found a house we like and we're approved for. It took several calls to reach Josh and we were about to give up. After several days our call was returned and we were finally able to move. The owner would not do anything to the house which was okay. I documented with pictures before we moved in. Apparently they have a move in inspection sheet, which we were not given. And never knew to ask for. There were a few issues throughout the lease that were quickly taken care of. The landscapers were quick to help getting the property ready for winter. We were looking to sign on another year since we enjoyed living in the area, but we were slapped with a 30 no cause eviction notice (which is the law). We were served papers on a Saturday and I was completely taken back. No one was there to answer my calls to find out what was going on. I even called josh's cell phone and did not get a call back until Monday. The very nice real estate agent stated that they knew of this for two months and decided to still give us 30 days. It was quite challenging finding a place to rent so quickly with three kids and two animals. At the beginning they tried to help. That lasted about a week and never really heard back after trying multiple times. I don't think they tried hard enough to help it retain our business. We paid rent on time every time (auto payment). During the last 2 1/2 weeks we were there we had an electrical issue with one room's breakers not working. After about three calls, and as many emails, the issue was not fixed for almost three weeks. By then two more rooms were without power. They finally called on our move out day to schedule an appointment. We referred them to the real estate agent. They also waited to turn on the water until after we left in May, the front yard grass was almost dead and embarrassing. Per Nevada law , we were suppose to receive our final check within 30 days. They didn't seem to care or return calls to answer any questions. I finally got in touch with Krystal Cole. She stated that the check was sent out last week and we should have it soon. We received it on the 31st day, postmarked on day 30. She must've lied about when she mailed it. They removed and charged me $600 for a fire door they claimed my animals had scratched. Unfortunately I did not take that picture on the move in day. That was my bad. I did however have pictures of the scratched sliding glass door and a chewed up piece of drain on the outside of the house from the previous tenants. I tried to dispute the issue but was told that I was still going to have to pay for the damage. I don't know who lets their animals in a hot garage making them scratch the heck out of the door when we have a perfectly good back yard. Now I have to take it up in small claims court. I'm sure they have quality people there. I would not recommend Krystal Cole or Josh, the manager. I simply cannot recommend this place. Sad. read more

We did get an email the next day stating we were declined due to incomplete application. With all the negative reviews onthis company. Nothing but problems from the very start. I now have to decide whether to take them to court or eat the cost of the $450 they unlawfully deducted from my deposit. I photographed and videoed everything when I moved in to my unit; it was filthy when I moved in and the property manager Tina even told me she would have to follow up with the viewing service because it "clearly was not clean." When I got the keys there was a weeks-old, moldy BOWEL MOVEMENT left in the upstairs toilet. The carpets reeked of animals urine. The floors were sticky, the grout caked with filth, the windows dirty, cat litter left in the spaces between the floor and walls where trim was missing, cereal down the cracks of the stove between the cabinet and oven. Unbelievable how many things were broken or broke during my one year there. The upstairs carpets were clean but two flights of carpeted stairs left filthy and matted. Half the lights were broken and others were left burnt out. So many more issues... all COMPLETELY documented on my move in and move out check lists. I told them from day one I would not pay for professional cleaning when I moved out because it was not professionally cleaned and I had to clean the place myself when I moved in. I photographed it and left it in much better condition than it was when I moved in. They STILL deducted $250 for carpet cleaning and $200 for regular cleaning. They're not very reliable. I was one of the owner of the property that they managed. When my original Property Management quit, She already warned me about how unreliable this company was. Not only my monthly was always late, They forgot to tell me that my tenant moved out! I only found out that my tenant moved bcoz I got a check for less than I was supposed to get. They didnt even turned on the electricity so my power froze down! So dont even sign up with them. They're not always there, they're not reliable, and their payment was always late. read more

Our property manager was Phil Klink. We had no problems with the actual unit, itself. It was the average condo rental where it wasn't necessarily the most luxurious but it worked for what we needed. The problems we had was with the property management. Right off the bat, the dryer in the unit took a dump, it took 2 months to replace because our property manager didn't know how to communicate with us or the delivery service to get a new appliance into our unit. I locked myself out at one point, and called to get back in with the spare key that he should have had... he told me I was on my own and it WASN'T HIS JOB TO HAVE A SPARE. Our lease said there would be a copy at the office in case we get locked out during normal business hours, which it was. Then, when I put in my 30 day notice, he takes 2 weeks to send a checklist- after I remind him- which explains that we are in charge of cleaning the unit and leaving it the way it looked, if not better. So I put around $50 into cleaning supplies that the checklist recommended I buy (Bona floor cleaner, etc) and cleaned the entire complex. It was way cleaner than it was even when we moved in. There were no holes in the wall, no chipped paint, new batteries put into the smoke detectors because they ran out while we still lived there, but we were still charged a cleaning fee ($155) and for several "repairs" despite there being nothing to repair, or the repairs being normal wear and tear. Even when I went to turn the keys in, the office was not open and I was directed to use a different method to return the keys- even though my p.m. told me to return them to the office. He has no idea what is going on- ever. Please, find a different office to go through when renting. It is not worth the hassle. Even when I first saw the place, I applied an hour after touring it the day it went on the market and my property manager tried giving the unit to someone who applied after me. I DO NOT recommend Phil Klink as a property manager. read more

Obviously they do not want to rent the homes they have on the market or they would be a little more eager to respond! I have been renting with Chase for around 1 year!!! Crystle is my property manger and she has been nothing but great!! Every time I need something or even have a question she is right on it!! She is a very hard worker and a sweet/kind hearted person!! I left a ex boyfriend that was very abusive witch made me have a bad rental history. But she overlooked it and let me rent from her!! I am now in one of her beautiful properties, with my dog (my kid lol), working full time and over 2 years clean!! My new life started with her!! I'm very blessed to have her as my landlord. I spoke to him on the phone same result. He did nothing.I had to end up, paying fines and handling it myself. I had to replace him. I should have have done it sooner. We rented with Chase for about a year and a half. And we had some issues with stuff along the way and Krystal was ALWAYS there to make things easier and helping us in any way she could, even driving out to us AND our rental was 45 minutes from the office. We had to move out kind of suddenly a few months ago and Krystal worked her magic to make sure we got the most of our deposit back that we could. If I was still living in the area I would make sure I was renting a property from Chase and praying that Krystal was taking care of it. Chase International is the absolute worst property management company I have ever dealt with (I have dealt with multiple companies since renting college homes). The house I rented from them began to flood as the rainy season began in Reno. Simultaneously, our bathroom started flooding sewer water into our bathroom. Our property managers at chase knew about the issue with flooding months in advance and did not fix the problem. The living conditions were so bad with no help and little response from our property managers we moved out of the house. I would describe the property managers at the Reno branch of ChaseInternational as lazy, unresponsive, and unprofessional. read more

We were not made aware of many faults with the home we are renting. I got in contact with the individual who was going to purchase the home a few months back from the individual whom owns it currently. There's a leaky roof, black mold in the garage, weak electrical outlets along with cut wires in the main box. We moved in sight unseen and was told it was move in ready when in fact the carpets were dirty and full of dirt, sand, rocks, and bits of cut tile. A slider that doesn't lock and no screens. We were delivered windows screens which were broken and a slider door screen with broken track wheels. We were told and it was listed on the ad that the property is on city sewer and being charged a sewer fee when in fact it is on a septic tank! The yard was full of broken glass, empty drug baggies, a shoe, used feminine hygiene products, rusty chicken wire, dog feces, weeds, nails, screws and old fence planks with nails still in them. It is near impossible to get a hold of our property manager and we are constantly told to communicate with her assistant who has no answers and even more clueless about NRS and tenants legal rights. When asked about the leaky roof and missing shingles and when it can be fixed we were told "Yea, that's not going to happen" We found out from the individual who was going to purchase about the wood burning stove (and only source of heat) wasn't up to code and to request a service maintenance on it or when it was last done. With three young children we do not need this added stress to our lives and have made contact with appropriate lawyers and housing authority to make a full inspection to "deduct and repair" or deposit future rent into an escrow account with the court house if no action will be taken. I am extremely disappointed with the professionalism of Chase International and the response given about the mess in the yard stating workers cannot clean up every little mess they make, when in fact, we owned a local business and know what kind of ethics and morals it takes to properly run a successful business. This place was by no means "move in ready" and is an insult to my intelligence to try and pass it off as such. read more
