I've visited several times, and while it may still have a following, it gets lost in the ever-expanding sections of your traditional grocers. It wasn't long ago, that you would NOT see vegan cheese in the cheese aisle, or plant-based meats in the meat section, but now they are there, whether it's something you eat or not. The vegetable and fruit section is smaller than the Co-Op at the Village but sometimes it's good to have a second chance. The vitamin section as well as the community hang-out section to the right when you walk in should not be missed. One thing that often gets missed is that some shoppers see these grocers as vegan or vegetarian. While it's true that they stock vegan and vegetarian items, they also have organic meats and meat products. If you're looking for organic, grass-fed meats and such, check out Natural Grocers TIP1: Check out their website as it has a bountiful amount of information about Sustainability, Deals, Recipes, Events, and more. After ordering a ham and cheese and an all meat omelette's my wife as usual only ate half of hers, I was shocked when I saw the size of mine, and I also only ate half. So the portions are large, the service was sufficient with only one waitress and a trainee on duty they kept up with a smile. The atmosphere was western prints on white walls with open tables but no booths so it was a bit noisy as the lunch crowd came in. Best part was discovering that the Hog Rock and the owner of this location " Matsey" joined up to form this new restaurant.
