We wanted potatoe salad with 2 platters but cold salads can't br added to the platter. Called in my order and was told to give them 15-20 minutes and this place is CASH ONLY. Platter came to about $52. I observed a male who appeared to be the cook, 2 females and the cashier. The kitchen area looked too clean for food to have been prepared there but I did observed the yams being pulled out of the over whole there. Noticed an area that held the cold salads. Pictures on the walls, a TV and a few tables and chair inside. The yams were good but could've been cooked down a bit more as some pieces were hard. The mac and cheese was great. The fried fish was perfectly fried, I could've used more seasoning in the batter. The fried fish was good and seasoned well. I noticed they also sold drinks, but I wasn't expecting to pay this amount for lunch, so I decided to go without drinks.

Service: family run black owned business. They are very customer focused and are happy to customize your platters. They offer drinks, dessert and different soul food: turkey wings is a popular one. My favorite are their Halal wings which are cooked just right with some hot sauce and garlic and I am so happy. I don't even get home before I've eaten most of them. Overall my experience here has always been good and I always look forward to going back and I miss them when I'm not in the area. I hope you enjoy your experience.
