I called shortly after learning they were open and scheduled my appointment. I was able to get a routine cleaning on the books within a week or two which is way sooner than I expected. The location is nice, brand new facilities, and it seems to be very low volume at the moment as I've been about the only person in the waiting room for the cleaning and follow-up work I needed done. I highly recommend if you need a quick cleaning. My hygienists and the dentists I've seen were solid. No complaints after getting a single filling.

I have never complained about paying out of pocket. In my entire adult life, I was never charged this much for a routine cleaning, which was only partially done (no polishing)! I bought the Package ($315) they offer, which is supposed to include 2 cleanings (6 months apart) and x-rays and exam for the year. My appt for December 30th only included the x-rays, I was told I needed to come back for the cleaning, which was scheduled for January 5th. When I arrived at said time, but I wasn't on their books and had to come back the next day. I was charged an addition $210 for the cleaning after the hygienist told me this was included with my package, which they now claim was a "deep cleaning", but it was not any different from any routine cleaning I have had every 6 months my entire life. Now I'm scheduled to go back in February for the polishing which should have been done with the cleaning! Triangle Family Dentistry in Pittsboro is scamming people who do not have insurance. Probably scamming insurance companies also... We are paying for their designer waiting room and taking up the entire second floor of the building.

I initially received the quote for the work and was able to schedule the appointment without delay. Everything went just as explained with the procedure (and cost) - the high tech office setting coupled with the calm presence of Dr. Van Scoyoc made the procedure, frankly, pretty darn easy. I was given follow-up instructions which, since I followed, meant no hiccups in my recovery. Based on my experience I highly recommend Dr. Van Scoyoc.

I was considering not going back since my experience was so abysmal. But I contacted the school and informed them of how incredibly disappointed I was in the student for so many reasons. They apologized profusely and offered to assign a different student. I was hesitant, but agreed to a new student assignment. I cannot express how completely happy I am with the new assignment. His name is Landon Guy and he is the epitome of what all current and future dentists should strive for. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, kind, highly-skilled, creative, not at all condescending. He explains everything he's going to do before he does it. When he makes a suggestion for treatment, he always asks for my input. And he listens to my opinion. And he has a great sense of humor, which is always a bonus! My dental appointment anxiety is just about non-existent due to Landon's expertise. When he graduates, I fully expect to continue as his patient wherever he begins to practice.
