Been waiting for treatment for months due to dentists quitting constantly. Today was told I need…read moreto see a specialist that will cost thousands of dollars. Last visit I waited over two hours and dentist was not available. Now they cannot do a root canal because the one dentist who can do is booked solid the month of june and is leaving on jun 30. I am paying $85 dollars amount for their insurance. I have paid thousands in treatment and my mouth is not better. Do yourself a favor and to somewhere the dentists are not all quitting and the treatment plan does not drain your wallet.

Unfortunately, he left a…read morecouple of years ago and since then I have had at least 3 dentists - sometimes not knowing which dentist was going to treat me until I showed up. There was zero communication about the second dentist that resigned until the day I showed up for a crown - but due to convenience I continued being seen at the office until the work was finished. I went in for a cleaning most recently and not only was the dentist different than who I had an appointment with, but so was the hygienist who I specifically asked for. As someone with a lot of anxiety around dental care and weak teeth requiring fillings and crowns - the last couple of years have been a horrible experience. The final straw was offshoring the customer service. I can appreciate cost efficiency, but some things are just not meant to be outsourced. I wouldn't recommend a franchise dental office, and will not be returning to Schon. There is a reason there is so much turnover with their dentists.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO!! HOSPITAL To Preface; this is the…read morefirst yelp review I have EVER written, never seen the need to before this. These guys put me in the hospital for days. I got my wisdom teeth out through Aspen dental, all very sweet people, however, they did no sort of sanitation before or after surgery and put me on no antibiotics. I ended up with two infected extraction sites and my check swelled to the size of a balloon. Day 3: Went back to Aspen Dental where they tell me I should try "Ice packs" (I have been ) The Doc sees me an literally said "Oh sh*tttt" under his breath before not checking instead mouth and prescribing me with Antibiotics (Later I was told by my Hospital team that the ones he gave me likely never would have worked) Day 4: I then went to the ER because my clots weren't forming correctly and I couldn't stop the bleeding, and when I called Aspen Dental they told me it would resolve on its own. They tell me I have a possibly life threatening infection and mentioned surgery several time, however I recovered quickly enough that I did not need it. I have now been in the Hospital for 3 nights on IV Antibiotics and steroids, with disgusting infected pus draining from my cheek into my mouth that I have to suction away ever few minutes with this straw vacuum by my bed. Most story's I heard about wisdom teeth people are feeling better by day 3-4. This has been one of the most unpleasant, needlessly expensive, stressful, and emotionally demanding events that I have gone through, and it was totally avoidable. I hope people read this and make the correct choice: DO NOT GO HERE.

The first person who worked on me was in network. The 2nd one wasn't. They left $1400 of my insurance unused. The actual dental work was ok but this shocking extra bill? VERY stressful. Bait and switch. Ugh

Yelp came through again!!!…read more Things don't always go as planned while in vacation. Last night while in Lexington, Kentucky at 11:30 pm my boyfriend's crown popped out. I yelped "emergency dental" and saw the post from a patient who had an emergency and was also on vacation. So, while on the road heading to Springfield, at 7:40 this morning we called Dr. Capati's after hours number and told him what happened. He said to call his staff at 8:00 and we did; they were able to squeeze in Stephen at 2:50 pm. The staff texted him a link for dental information (ie name, address, issues, etc) and by the time we arrived, everything was taken care of. He was done within 45 minutes and he said the tooth feels great. He's extremely happy and gives high praise to the staff and doctor.

I have made the call to do annual cleaning but it ended up be another "advanced" cleaning, named as: first time visit cleaning. This cleaning might be needed if you have not do your dental appt for more than 5-10 years, but for most ppl with insurance covered, we do cleaning annually, this advanced check make no sense, especially the dental trying to play the game to not mentioning specifically that they are doing a cleaning that will not be covered by insurance completely. So remember to ask clearly before they give you anything to sign!
