They also do sailing lessons and all their instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I've been so impressed with their staff at not only this rental site but also in the camps that my kids are enrolled in. Private Lessons The Jetties Sailing Center also offers private sailing lessons in Rhodes 19s, Marshall Cat 15s, Sunfish, windsurfers, Lasers, the Hobie Getaway (and 420s per the Program Director). Lessons can be booked from 10am-12pm, 1-3pm, and 3-5pm. He identified lots of birds and other creatures for us, including laughing gulls, fish crows, cormorants, horseshoe crabs, stripers, and seals during our 3 hour trip. It was all fascinating. During the break, he caught a horseshoe crab and told us a lot about them, then did a show and tell about Cape shellfish. And of course, kayaking on the Cape on a perfect July day - doesn't get much better! The water was cool and clear, all the equipment was in great shape, and all we had to do was show up and follow Matt out into the windy, grassy waterways. I'd go again tomorrow if I could!

Looking for something active, but in nature, my gf and I started to look for something. We eventually stumbled upon Cape March Kayaking. Never having done a kayaking tour before, we were unsure what to expect. To quickly sum up our tour, it was fantastic! When we arrived we were met by our guide Matt. He was personable, knowledgeable and made us feel safe and secure. After a brief safety discussion, we were off. Matt, answered all of our questions and provided insight into the birds and fish that inhabit the marsh. I usually don't don't review services, but felt a need here. Get to South Street off 6A, and then drive, drive, drive to the end of South Street (it's bumpy and gravely and a fun ride) where we can park in a nestle of trees. From there it's a quick hop over the dunes via the path, and endless splashing and playing await. Check the tide times for Barnstable harbour, and head on down for low tide! There's even some rocks to play around on if you do hit high tide....

The facility is right by the water and they will gently push your kayak behind you to get you started. This part is 5 stars. The 2nd part is 1 star. The business gave as three $5 coupons to use at a local restaurant. This restaurant is just behind their property. We went there to have lunch and at the time of paying the check we provided the coupons but the restaurant declined them. Lots of bla bla and exclusions of what the coupons cover (must be a party of two, won't provide discount on lobster, won't give discount on kids meals) and whatever, we were declined to use the coupons. Whatever. It's not about the money. It's about legitimate and transparent business. Stop baiting customers and luring them into using the restaurant. Of course you will tell me I did not read the very fine print. Well I did not coz I trusted you. And thanks for the opportunity. We now know how you try to trick people with those coupons.
