I went to chatime recently to try their new Thai milk tea. It wasn't quite as strong as I like it but overall the flavour was good. Chatime is my favourite place to take all my friends who are new to bubble tea. There are so many options, there's something for everybody! My sister kept telling me about the locations she visited in Toronto and I knew I had to try it for myself. This place is BUSY. Take that into account when you're planning a trip, seating is limited so getting your drink to go is probably a good idea. The ordering line moved a bit slow and the staff were a bit grumpy (as a cashier myself it's frustrating) but our drinks came quite quick. The menu is quite extensive and I didn't know what a lot of the flavour options were. The girl working let my sister and I try a sample of wintermelon (it was gross don't get it). The ordering process was fairly simple and you're given a receipt with your order number which they call out when your drink is ready. This part moves really quickly. I ordered a strawberry milk tea with coconut jelly. SO GOOD. The milktea was quite sweet so it's not something I would drink regularly but it is definitely addicting. I look forward to future visits where I can try some of the other flavours and maybe even one of their slush beverages. read more

Whatever you get here is quite typical for any Chatime location. Drink quality here is pretty much the same as locations across Ontario, whether it be Toronto, the GTA, or Windsor. Sorely disappointed by this branch of Chatime London. We came and ordered two drinks - the Matcha Mousse, and QQ Taiwan Mango Juice. The Matcha Mousse was thin and tasteless. It appeared as if they failed to add the cream powder base, resulting in a very watery and thin texture. A sad disappointment, considering how we paid full price for this drink. The matcha flavour was also weak. The QQ Taiwan Mango Juice was a bit better, but still bad. The taste was very artificial and watered down. It seemed as though they failed to add sufficient concentrate, resulting in another tasteless drink. I may still go to Chatime for their drinks, but definitely not to this branch!! read more

Finally London has a Chatime! No no more having to make the long drive to enjoy a delicious drink. I found the location very nice and inviting. Very clean for such a busy establishment. There are always lots of people when I visit which is a good sign. It's definitely the place to be. There are Lots of electrical outlets for charging devices and free wifi! The staff are always friendly and readily have suggestions when I'm stumped on what to try next. The tapioca is the best tasting around and perfectly paired with the milk tea. The vicinity card is accepted here - one free drink after 10 drink purchases. read more

Probably the best bubble tea in London but that's not saying all that much. The place is constantly busy because it's one of the only places to get decent bubble tea so be prepared to wait a bit. Changed my review because of my last visit at chatime. It seems the store is so busy it affects the quality of the drinks. Ordered a typical taro milk tea and it had some little bits of powder left undissolved. Tasted really terrible and they even gave me the wrong size. Drinks are good - good variety and most are lactose free! Some of the drinks have added cream to them - if you are lactose-free, don't order a drink without the cream, it will leave you wanting. We ordered popcorn chicken once and it was waaaay overpriced. Seating can be limited as this place is usually popular. But we've gotten seating the last 3 times we have been. Personally, I wouldn't "lounge" here, but I see some students studying/meeting with friends, etc. read more

Chatime is a really cute place to grab a bubble tea with friends :) They offer a ton of drink options on the menu, and the prices are relatively good. The taste is always amazing :) Although I will say, I went there once and asked for a bubble tea- they were out of flavouring AND tapioca pearls- the "bubble" of the bubble tea! When a bubble tea shop runs out of bubbles, that's like McDonald's running out of burgers- not good. But that only happened once, and it better not happen again. Newest and most recently opened location of all the Chatimes in the GTA. Came here after an exam to grab a drink for my drive back home. Needless to say, this Chatime is the same as every other location. Not much is different in this location except there interior layout. It is great that there's a Chatime in almost all cities within the GTA. Definitely there is no shortage if your looking for a roasted milk tea. Nothing to really say about their drinks since they are all standard to any other location. Same price and same taste. Only downfall is there interior set up is bad. The waiting area is blocked by a huge table that no one even sits at and it causes a lot of people traffic from people who are coming in the door with the people who are waiting to get there drinks. Better to just remove the table and give the area more space since there is alot of people usually waiting to get their drinks. read more

Huge selection of bubble tea. My current favourite is mango smoothie with coconut jelly. Also a big fan of milk tea with tapioca. I have not yet had a bad drink combo there. Most drinks can be made either hot or cold. That being said, there is ALWAYS a long wait for your drink. Expect to be hanging around the front counter for at least 10 minutes. For no apparent reason. There are many employees behind the counter and usually not a huge line of guests, but it is what it is. And prices can be steep (pun intended). Expect to pay about $7 for a large tea with bubbles. Table seating along the west side of the store. Generally packed with students. read more

Clean and comfy seating area, but mediocre bubble tea. I tried their roasted milk tea with pearls and both the milk tea and pearls are subpar compared to the same drink at Chatime's in Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. I prefer Sharetea's milk tea in London. read more

I have to say I don't have much experience in the bubble tea department so I'm not sure how much I can really get into it about Chatime. This place is BUSY. Holy crap! There was a lineup the entire time I was here. The line did take a while so be prepared. There's lots to pick from here but the girl behind the counter said don't get the coffee drinks. Apparently they arent the best. I got the hazelnut chocolate milk tea with a pudding topping. It was good but the pudding is more like a Jello texture. Again I don't know much about bubble tea so I kind of had no expectations or idea of what I was doing. There's lots of seating but since it's so busy the chairs in the aisle are fairly inaccessible. Id probably return but only if there was no one else inside so I'd have more time to discuss and ponder over the options. read more

So glad that Chatime finally made it's way to london! Not sure what all the bad reviews are about as this place is always packed and i've never had a bad experience (I drink my fair share of bubble tea lol) Yes the wait can be long sometimes but I don't find it to be any different than waiting in line at a busy starbucks. My go to is always the Taro slush with bubbles, the brown sugar milk tea with bubbles (cold or hot is delicious), the mango slush QQ (meaning with half coconut jellies have bubbles) or the Lychee QQ!!! read more

I have been here before and I had an average experience, but I had just went today for the second time and it was busy like last time which was fine. Unfortunately I got up to pay and I only had card which they accepted & I had many of them to use, but I tried using them with cash on all of them and it had an error on their end and the employee told me the machine wasn't connecting to the computer. I was the first person that had that problem. I ended up waiting 10-12 minutes and walking out with nothing after they made my order. This experience was horrible & I don't plan on returning because they could have just let me slide this time because they had made my order & from me on they could have just asked people if they had cash & then proceeded with their order. I was so excited when I heard London was getting a Chatime. If its your first time getting BBT at Chatime, the most basic thing to try is the Roasted milk tea with Grass jelly or another alternative would be with Tapioca aka bubbles. If you're not a sweet tooth, its nice you can customize your sweetness and how much ice you want. I would recommend coming here with your friends and be social. read more

The drinks are fine. Pretty much the same as any other Chatime in the GTA. The staff consistently work slowly though and drinks can take 15-25 minutes which is really a shame. Probably not coming back until the service improves. read more
