Family-owned business selling hotdogs, drinks, nachos, fries, and more. The combo comes with a hotdog, a drink, and fries for $10! They are open late and open when it rains, too! They have seating outside but parking is super hard to find as it is a busy residential area.

I have been coming to Money Pit for over 12 years now and I have nothing but great things to say…read moreabout the food. The bacon avocado cheese burger is amazing and it's been my go to for years with the zucchini fries. I've had many zucchini fries from many other restaurants and they by far have the best. The ranch from here is top tier as well, so it makes it all the better. This is where the 3 star review comes in. My family loves to come here after the beach on our way home, as it has become a tradition at this point. Part of this tradition is eating inside because the decor and vibes are awesome. I love movies and so this place has always been a favorite as it comes to the theme. They close at 9:00pm and they won't let you sit inside if it's closed to 8:30pm and sometimes, like tonight we got here before 8:30pm. The young kids they have working here want to get out of work as soon as possible so they start cleaning early and turn away people early so they don't have to stay longer to clean. This is ridiculous, as the closing time is clearly 9. They always seem so annoyed that you even walk inside in the first place, which with a family being told we can't eat here even though it's open is just insulting. Management needs to talk with their employees about this because I'm sure they aren't aware of this and they turn away business. Why wouldn't you want to eat inside at a place like this? Food is amazing, but if you want to eat inside be sure you get there an hour or even more before close!

The girl at the counter was very friendly and helped me to order. I ordered the original double combo. I filled my drink and grabbed a seat. It wasn't long before my order was ready. There were several sauces to choose from. I liked that they were different than other burger places. My burger was good but I added a bit of salt. I also dipped it in some sauce as it was a little dry. Otherwise, it tasted good and was a big portion. I got onion rings which I liked a lot. It was too much food so I didn't order a custard, but I definitely will try it next time. I look forward to coming back and trying different options 3.5 stars.

The fries are like horseshoe style, which I could live without no meat to bite down Into. But the onion rings were great. Crispy. And the batter was light and air and didn't completely disintegrate when bent or bit ( I will say that with my burger they only gave 7 rings and was told the next size up would be double so like 14 rings) they were delicious. They are also giving a single serving custard, vanilla with sprinkles or chocolate with chocolate chips, with their kids meal in lieu of a toy. Service: friendly quick service and personable. Take away: I would definitely come back opt for the triple and double up on the rings and leave with a concrete which they will prepare at the end of your meal.

There was only one cook and one cashier, and although the cashier was somewhat friendly, her attitude and expressions made the interaction feel uncomfortable. The food took a while to come out, the restroom was dirty with a strong odor, and the burgers tasted unfresh while the fries were just okay and the zucchini had a strange flavor. The chili cheese fries were especially bad, the chili tasted burnt, and after only a couple small bites we couldn't eat them. When I asked for a refund on the chili cheese fries, the cashier hesitated because we had taken a few tiny bites, and although the cook eventually approved it, the poor customer service and low food quality, we will never return here again.

It's been awhile since I've been and wanted to check them out. The menu has definitely expanded from Greek options to burgers, wings and pizza. It was slow and short staffed, one gal at the register and one cook in the back but it wasn't too busy for a quick lunch break run. Food was good, but it's definitely fluffed up by a lot of shredded lettuce, but a decently cooked burger. The fries were good, but I didn't notice too much of a different in the size of a small vs regular fry either.

Today, we ordered the classic lunch combo burger with fries-delicious and does not taste like freezer burn!!! There is a choice of not just beef, but also impossible, gluten free, and grass fed meats. All burgers are cooked to medium unless you specify otherwise. Easy to order-just go to the counter and order, pick a seat and wait for your meal. The interior dining area has plenty of seating and restrooms in the back. The outdoor patio looks nice enough for when it's a nice cool night, it is covered as well. Anyway, we'll be back since the menu looks super inviting because there are other choices besides burgers and the best thing is that they use a lot of local, fresh ingredients! Support your local eateries!

They have a good selection of beer, milkshakes, and drinks. You order at the counter and they'll bring the food to your table. It's hard to find a burger place with all my favorites: an egg, bacon, and avocado. The bacon was crispy, the egg was medium and wasn't too runny, and the brioche bread was a little sweet and fluffy. They use angus beef for their patties. You can also split your fries which I love! I got to try the onion rings and sweet potato fries. I wish the sweet potato fries were crispy. They were more on the soggy side. The onion rings batter was a lil thicker than I like. The batter overpowered the onion. We also got the Cajun wings to try which was nice and crispy! They give you a few sauces on the side so you can dip it. I got the ranch which was so good with the wings, fries and burger. The milkshakes are pretty delicious! We got the classic vanilla one. It was a pretty thick shake so you know they use legit ice cream! I also liked the peach lemonade. I would check this place out if you're in the area!

I prefer the more common layered Philly style of thinly sliced then lightly chopped beef with slices of cheese melted on top, then onions/peppers folded in the roll. The beef is more the star in the style. As for the famously imported roll, they can save the cross-country expense as it's tasteless and wrinkly. There are many better rolls available from local commercial bakeries. A few more minor annoyances. Ketchup is only available in those messy little packets, and there are no salt and pepper shakers, just those tiny packets. And finally, what's with the 3% "Operations Fee"? A business's finances are run through a P&L, which always contains operating expenses. Given their prices and I'm sure good profit margin, any operations expenses should be built into the P&L model, not hoisted on the customer beyond the item prices. Overall, a decent sandwich and fries from a frozen bag, but for $20+ not a good value.

That said, I work in the mall and timing is a big factor. When you order, it takes at least about 10 minutes for the food to be ready, which is why my coworkers and I relied on DoorDash pickup. It made it possible for us to order ahead during short breaks, pick it up, and still be able to enjoy it while supporting the business. We recently noticed the topping options were removed from DoorDash, which is a big downside. The toppings are kind of the whole point, like the sugar coating and sauces. Without that, there is no way to customize in the app. When we pick up, we have to ask in person, and even then they usually just give the toppings on the side instead of putting them on the corn dogs, which is not the same experience. We really do love this place and hope the topping options get added back soon, because otherwise it is hard for us to keep ordering
