I moved nearby the Money pit but I found the food average. Not that much to say but I tried it. It's crowded around lunchtime with construction workers stand in line to get your food. Staff there is very efficient and very nice everybody that is staff is terrific. But the food is very average and if I want a hamburger with a beer or an iced tea the iced tea you can get a beer you can't. I don't drink soda so it left me drinking water. That's about all I have to say I enjoy the neighborhood shopping in that little mall area. read more

Had a craving for onion rings and decided to try this place out. I must say that their sampler is a HUGE portion for the price. It contained onion rings, fries, battered mushrooms and zucchini fries. Definitely enough for three people. Also got the Greek style chicken wrap. Once again, good size wrap, chicken was seasoned well but dry. The wrap part was kind of thin and was falling apart by time I got home. Still tasty, just wish the chicken wasn't dry. Recently returned to Money Pit post pandemic and I'm so amazed how consistent they have remained over the years. The interior is decorated in a very fitting money , ample seating indoors and out, and prices thay are very hard to beat! Customer service was great, the guys at the counter were very polite and helpful. The speed in which we got our meals after ordering was reasonable. My family and I ordered basic cheese burgers and hamburgers and made them a combo which was about $10/ person after taxes. While it may seem like a budget meal, the quality of the burgers and fries far exceed the surrounded places and fast food options! Burgers were made fresh and stacked with some of the freshest veggies I've seen in a burger in a long time. I had been told by a close friend of mine that Money Pit was like a better version of In n Out, and honestly im not much of a fan of In n Out at all but im always down to try new things! This place EXCEEDED my expectations ten-fold, the restaurant itself is has a very nice and unique vibe to it but still feels very chill to sit down in an almost diner-esque style atmosphere. The burgers are solid, I myself got the mushroom cheese burger with bacon and the chili cheese fries. The burger was amazing! Super flavorful and the flavors blended together perfectly. Nothing stood out too much and i ordered ranch on the side to pour on top and the ranch is also great. My wife got the 3x3 w/ lettuce wrap and extra veggies on the side and she loved it too! The chili cheese fries were delicious, personally i would have liked more cheese and for the cheese to be melted a little better but im not complaining at all. The chili was great as well. I ordered a Vanilla Strawberry mixed shake and the strawberry ice cream they used tasted so fresh instead of just any regular strawberry ice cream. It was like they had thrown fresh strawberries in the mix. The service was solid, all the guys working there at the time seemed super chill and they were all very nice and respectful. The theme of the place is fantastic! The walls are covered in movie posters (all money themed), there's a vault door in the center of the room, and every table is decorated with designs made from coins, bills, poker chips, etc under glass. The lady at the register was very business-like. Not very friendly, but not unkind. Everything is self service except the food. You get your own drinks, napkins, sauces, etc. The food was ready quick & very well priced. I got the 2-eggs and meat plate for $9.25. It had 4 sausage links, 2 slices of toast, and a pile of hashbrowns. Really large plate of food for under $10. I normally love breakfast sausage, but I didn't care for the seasoning of these. The eggs & hash browns were pretty good. My husband got a breakfast sandwich with sausage (he also disliked the sausage) for $8.30. It was piled high with 2 cheesy scrambled eggs & 4 sausage links. The kitchen is very loud no matter where you sit in the restaurant. The chairs are not very comfortable. We did not linger after finishing breakfast. Since we both got sausage we didn't like I don't know if we can really evaluate the food fairly. Everything else tasted fine, was hot, fast, and inexpensive. The decor was cool & fun, I won't eat in again. They do have a drive through, so we may try it for lunch next time. read more
