On my previous trip, the one cat I did not want to let out out of the house, they did. The worst part was, they didn't even know it. This last go round, they left my house smelling like a litter box, even though they were to scoop poop twice a day for three cats. I did not think I had to tell them to take it out of the house after they scooped poop.They won't admit what they did, but I am assuming they left it in the trashcan in the kitchen all week. Their response was they followed my directions. I have requested a return my house key. To date, I do not have it. Hopefully the next time I hire someone I won't have to make the specific direction They need to take it out to the trashcan after they empty the litter box.

I checked the live footage constantly all hours of the day/night during my vacation. And my pup was very anxious(by nature) but the staff never got mad or irritated at him instead always reassured him and gave him pats and pets. I will definitely be bringing him back! A massive thank you to the staff during November 14-17th of 2025! Prices are very fair. Play yards always seemed sanitary on the live footage. They made sure to take out his blankie and toys out of his bag without having to be asked and placed them in his room! They were also very heavy on the safety of our pup and added a note explaining why they didn't add our rope into his cabin(because of possible choking on strings)

She also informed us when it was warm in our home and that she had adjusted the thermostat for them (and to let her know if that wasn't okay ...which of course it was) One of the nights she told us there was thunder and lightening so she closed the blinds for the pups and turned on extra lights. I was totally impressed with every single thing she did while we were gone. My husband and I felt 100% confident that our babies were being taken care of and even spoiled. Well, we got home this evening to find a picture of our two babies in a picture frame...with an adorable personalized typed/printed welcome home card!!!! It told of what a great experience she had with them, what they were like while we were gone and she even asked that we let her know what the vet says when we take Barkley to the vet for his ear infection!!! OH and to make sure and let her know when we get home so she knows she isnt needed to come back again! While my husband and I were talking about how crazy amazing the card and picture was...we realized she had turned on music for them & put away all of there toys so they werent out everywhere when we came home! Can you say way above and beyond!!!??? For anyone out there that considers your pets a part of your family...your children...just like we do.... Kathy at Southern Paws is THE PERFECT CHOICE!!
