He was very interested & disappointed that I was not having my Custom made gold ring with a large heart shape diamond with 3 other very large diamonds with Berma Ruby's & other precious stones. I custom designed this ring with a skilled Jeweler. We left my wedding rings there & had a very uncomfortable gut feeling that I was being overcharged. I called 3 other Jeweler's in the Prescott area. Their prices were half Afterglow Jewelers price. We picked it up the next day. I waited until after the Holidays. We were in downtown Prescott & saw that Raskins Jeweler's was still there. We walked in & the staff greeted us with large smiles in a very friendly atmosphere! They are resizing my rings plus they will check all of the They are going to put a Rhodium finish on the 2 rings so the rings with look brand new. Raskin's Jeweler's price was $260.00 with no deposit taken. An excellent price. My wedding rings with be ready in 2 weeks. Wow, I will always go with my gut feeling. That is my truth! Upon going into the store we saw many workers in there but no one seemed to care they had a customer, we were finally acknowledged by an older lady with dark hair (I wish I would of got her name) she was very rude from the beginning even with us telling her what and why we needed it done, she said in the very beginning "I don't think we can do that, but I'll ask the jeweler" after going to the back with my rings for what seemed like forever she came back out and rudely told us if he did it you'd be able to tell where he cut it and that to reset my ring it would be over $400 - it wasn't about the price it was about the absolute rudeness we received from her from the minute we walked in. I had lost my husband 2 days before that, it was hard enough going out in public but when she showed no care in the world like we were just ruining her day by being there. We decided they did not deserve our business. We decided to check another nearby jeweler while we were down there. He was the nicest guy, he quoted us a price less than half of what Raskins quoted us and had it done in an hour! It was done perfectly and NO you can not tell where he had to cut it. He even saved the piece he cut out for me! He showed remorse in why we needed it done and actually gave a shit. Sorry Raskin but you have lost my business forever. First they ordered the wrong size ( after sizing my husband) and Morrisa sent it back and didn't tell me. I called four weeks later to see if it was there and they didn't tell me that they sent it back. I called and called and kept asking for people to call me back and they wouldn't call me back finally someone finally talk to me. Then they tell me that the ring that I ordered they couldn't find online and had to call corporate for the SKU number. The worker Kitty told me to order the ring online instead so I could have it in time for Christmas like I had planned for, and to have it before I had my baby as well...they gave me the SKU number, I ordered it and paid for it, and I got the ring sent to my house and it was the wrong ring and wrong size. I had called the Ed manager and the manager had re-ordered another ring, and then he the ring it to the arrowhead store in Peoria when we live in Prescott, so then they had to send the ring from arrowhead store to Prescott store, when I picked up the ring it was the wrong size. I had to go back into the store this time with my future husband for the second time after picking it up, and had my gut husband resized again, and to find out that the lady sized my future husband a entire size bigger than he was. Then we had to wait for the ring for another month to come in, and when I called to see if it was in ...the lady told me that it wasn't, she said she call me back that day she didn't, ...two days later I got a call from another lady Morrisa saying that my ring was there And she wasn't sure if anybody had called me. So really when I called it was there. I finally picked it up for her last time had my future husband try it on and finally it was the correct ring and correct size. Total nightmare a lot of phone calls a lot of time a lot of driving back-and-forth, so ridiculous I had to take my newborn into the store and my future husband got his ring late! Most horrible experience I've ever had with a jewelry shop in my life!

He and his staff were wonderful to work with and very patient with me as I failed to bring in the correct paperwork the first time and we had to re-schedule. They have a lot of consignment (or maybe the term is re-sale or estate) jewelry and I saw some lovely rings and watches. I saw a few comments about the price of getting an appraisal, but they must not understand the time and research the goes into having an appraisal done. I felt they were very thorough and also did a great job of communicating throughout the process.
