Had a craving for Empenada's was reminiscing about the time I tried the best empanadas I ever had in Puerto Rico three years ago. Went to my old trusty yelp app to find a good reviewed empanada and ran across this place. Went late one night so the selection was sparse but had the chipotle beef with chimichurri sauce, and a pork one both very tasty. These are Argentinan so much different then other Empenadas ive had in the past. They were huge, 2 are easily enough for 1 person, think i spent 8 $ with a beer. Came back few weeks later and tried the pizza and The ham and cheese wasn't as good or would have rated this place a 5. I guess they used to be located somewhere else previously looking at the pictures, but this location is 2 small blocks from the ocean in Centro. read more

Oh my gawrsh. This place is like stupidly delicious. They are right around the corner from me which is dangerous for my waistline. These are Argentinian empanadas so the dough is a bit thicker. There are savory and sweet options to choose from and everything... I mean EVERYTHING is great. I have tried all of them. The sauces they provide with your order is also great. I sadly haven't tried anything else on their menu aside from the Choripan (which is also droolworthy) and they have a decent list of options outside of empanadas. Definitely give them a shot. Amazing. I had the following empanadas: chipotle beef, shrimp, beef with cream, spinach and cheese, mushroom and cheese, and ham and cheese. Tried the chimichurri, spicy, and jalepeno sauces. My fiancé and I agreed that mushroom and cheese is the best! They're quite large, we had 4 at the restaurant and were quite full but they were so delicious, we even bought 3 more to go. read more

Yes!!!! This was much better than the Empanada House. There was a buy two vegetarian deal plus a drink for $55 pesos! Comes with sauces and the inside of the empanada was fresh and not liquidy. I got the spinach with corn and the mushroom. Sauces & drinks were very delish. The gentleman who assisted me spoke English and was helpful. lol read more

My first time eating here, but will not be my last! Several vegetarian options available - I tried the cheese & spinach and the vegetable (eggplant). Both were excellent & incredibly filling. Very small place with two tables so to-go may be the best option. read more

WOW! These are hands down the best empanadas I have ever had. The dough is so fresh and the perfect amount of flaky and soft and chewy. So many varieties we took a hunch home and having them for breakfast the next day now they still taste amazing. I love the variety of vegetarian options but the chicken one is sooo good too. What a great find! It's tucked between 2 buildings and you may miss it if you didn't see the sign outside with pictures of all kinds of empanadas. The one that immediately caught my eyes was: Banana with Rum. That was it, I was sold. Connie, the owner, was really great and hospitable. There is an outdoor seating with a few seats that makes it nice and cozy. But the food was a real winner. It was served hot, crispy on the outside. Once you bite on the empanada, the rum will feel your mouth followed by the banana - I was in heaven! This is a new takeout place that specializes in Argentinian empanadas. I tried the chicken and the curried pork both were good, the chicken was outstanding! At one dollar each (20 pesos) a real bargain. It's a modern, renovated space with a couple of small tables to eat a quick snack or to Takeaway. These empanadas are authentic - the only real Argentine empanadas I've found in Vallarta. The dough is flaky and each little pie is stuffed with delicious filling. The beef (res) empanada is the most popular in Argentina where beef is king.
