The waitress decided without asking, not to give my husband soup although he ordered it because "you ordered ceviche!" So one can't have both soup & ceviche in one night? Waitress barked at me, "Do you want me to remove it?" and did not bother to ask if I wanted something else. The first time we went, I ordered salad & coconut shrimp but the salad never arrived. Coconut shrimp was nothing to write home about. If you come to this restaurant, pack your patience as the service is very slow although the restaurant was pretty empty when we got there both nights. The staff was really wonderful. Everyone was warm and friendly, and always had a smile to share, plus the food was good. On my last day I had the chilaquiles for breakfast before heading to the airport, and I'm so glad I did. They were very good. We had some last minute complications and couldn't make our tour because of a lot of jellyfish so we were stuck in the area for a couple hours - I looked around and saw this was in close proximity so we walked a little & came here for breakfast. We had fresh squeezed orange juice (not pictured); it is one of the freshest orange juices I've ever tasted personally. They also gave us a plate of fresh fruit (pineapples, bananas, watermelon, and papaya) which were all so so good. I ordered the tacos (Mexican style scrambled eggs with chorizo and bacon - I took off the sour cream and sauce). My mom ordered the red chilaquiles which she said was a 10/10 as well. The fish sauce tasted like someone opened a can of tomato sauce and one of olives. The owner/ host was overly familiar and asked to please leave a review. Very nice setting with variety of boats one can admire while having dinner. One of the meals was very good. The other one was very overdone. I don't recommend the mixed seafood that is served in a hot bowl! Couldn't tell the difference between the octopus and the scallops, as they were so overdone . However, the other meal, which was mahi-mahi, was very good. People across from us had a salad which they thought was very good as well. I believe they said it was a Popeye salad.
