I called them twice, first time was last mon out by North Shore, the guy on the phone was rude, and asking all kinda stupid questions, and finally he said was too far from town, unbelievable. Second time, which is today, just called them again, was rude as last time, this time my mom's little car couldn't start, and is parked inside of parking structure, and they said is too diffcult to tow, I explained to them i have seen cars been towed out from the same parking structure, simply they just don't want your business or just some easy jobs. This service is generally good. Driver is friendly and they get the job done. However I had to wait over an hour. For some, this is excusable because of the type of service. However I made an appointment the day before to ensure I'd get pick up near the time I hoped for, while also having an appointment for a garage to repair my vehicle. During waiting for that hour, I had to call the call center or operator three times because I did not get a confirmation of the eta. I liked them and their friendly but waiting when I was proactive a day ahead is a little frustrating. Didn't want to spend money but I had no choice....the best deal I found....$50 flat rate to tow from Safeway Beretania to a mechanic shop on Queen St. Let me tell you that is the cheapest I found!!! I was wondering how he was planning to hook the car up but BY HIMSELF pushed the car out of the parking stall and onto the dolly in the blink of an eye!!! Ok now I'm exaggerating....but it was really fast. And the driver was super friendly!! He even let me catch a ride to the mechanic shop!!! Looked up Saigon Towing after hearing word-of-mouth about them. When I called, the man who answered was polite and patient. Most other tow truck companies sound like they have much more better things to do than to receive a call for potential business. You know that tone of voice, like I'm rudely interrupting the dispatcher's nap time or something. Well, not with Saigon towing. The man, whose name I did not get because of a slightly thick Asian accent, patiently listened as I told him my predicament. He assured me that they could get my car from Waipio to Kalihi for $65. That is hella cheap! The wait time was kinda long, hence why I didn't give the full 5 stars. However, when the tow truck driver came, he was very kind and got right to it. My brother referred me to Saigon Towing. I also went on Yelp to read the reviews. I was happy to see there were positive comments. I called Yong to set up a tow from Waikele to Pearl City. He was very pleasant and polite. He did the job the next day and was very flexible waiting till I was done with work before coming by. Yong is very slick with his tow truck. I asked him to maneuver my vehicle in a tight, weird angle. He did it without any problems or damage to my vehicle or driveway. I always felt he was trying his absolute best at all times. I used them yesterday to take my F350 Crew Cab from my home in the Punch Bowl area to a shop in Kaneohe. The service was exceptional and the price was only $120 unbelievable. Young and his son Jason run a great towing service, they are friendly accommodating and very reasonable. I highly recommend their towing service to anyone who wants good service at a fair price. I tried to give Young a tip for such great service but he wouldn't accept it, rather he offered to drive me back to my house since he was coming back to town. I didn't need the ride but thought it was extremely nice of him to offer. I called like a hundred different reputable towing companies that had ads on craigslist and online. They were all charging me around $100-$130 with like a 40-50 minute wait.
