If you're looking for a good milkshake in Dearborn, this place is as good as it gets. My wife and I came into this store for a treat and were completely blown away. First off, we were greeted by the nicest lady behind the counter. She was helpful in giving suggestions. We decided on a Cookie Monster Freakshake, and we were presented with a monstrous shake topped with cookies, chocolate, and a whole ice cream cookie sandwich. We shared the shake, and we were both stuffed afterwards. The shake itself was delicious. Slightly thinner than a typical shake which suited it well. It was creamy and not overly chocolately. This balanced out the richness of all the toppings very well. The only downside was the price. At $12, this won't be a very frequent indulgence, but as a special treat, it was worth it. Plus, it's easily big enough to share, so that helps justify the price. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Dearborn! read more

I cannot believe I just heard of Cheat Treats like a month ago! OMG! I do not know where to start lol! I watch my macros like a hawk. Getting enough protein in everyday and really limiting my carbs, calories, and sugar makes it SUPER hard to be able to go out anywhere to eat (and it's impossible to go out for a "treat" without blowing up my diet). But the staff at Cheat Treats was seriously so incredibly nice! They helped me pick out an awesome protein shake and customize like 5 different ways so I got exactly what I want. It was unreal, SO delicious! If you haven't had the Blueberry Muffin Protein Shake at Cheat Treats, you must run there ASAP and have one! With healthier options than many places, a super sweet (and knowledgably) owner and staff, and amazing treats, I will be living there this summer on my cheat days :) Can't wait to try their protein cheesecake! read more

I want to love this place, I really do. The owner is a young guy who works crazy hard and is there most of the time I go. However, I feel like instead of focusing on a few products and doing a great job on them, he and his team try to do a million things and they mostly taste mediocre. The cookies are a real hit or miss, same with the cheesecakes. The two things I love consistently are the cookie dough and donuts. Another reason I am docking a star is because the employees are well-meaning but they would benefit from some basic training in customer service. Whenever I walk into the store, one of them immediately swarms me asking "what can I get for you?" I recognize they are trying to be attentive, but you should always give the consumer a few moments to browse and decide! Also the employees seem to be inconsistent in knowledge of how to do things. One time I requested two flavors of cookie dough in one cup and the employee looked so confused and uncomfortable and got ready to fill two cups, one with each flavor. Another employee had to come over and tell her I am allowed to combine flavors. Again, I love the idea and I think their cookie and donuts are delicious, but I think they need to rethink a lot of their logistics as a business. read more

I'm so disappointed. I had their cake at a local vegan restaurant and loved it, so we decided to go check out the bakery in-person. Though beautifully decorated, the service was horrible. There were essentially two young teenage boys running the shop, the vegan cake slice was so dry and hard that it was clear it had been sitting for awhile. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and a few weeks later called to order a full cake for a party. I received the same rude service from the same young kid and was told someone would have to call me back to complete the order. No one ever did. I randomly stumbled upon this place while nearby and was blown away by the quality of the food and the warmth of the cafe! The space is cozy and warm, perfect for studying as there is also WiFi. We had the donuts, cheesecake, and "fitbits" -- they were all delicious and we wish we had gotten more! it was a bonus to know everything was made with quality ingredients for the health-conscious person who still wants a sweet treat. This was my my first time coming into the store I usually have someone pick up the order for me when they're coming from East Dearborn. But today I was actually in the area and stopped in to Cheat Treats. The woman behind the counter was so sweet. She was so slammed with orders but still polite and took her time with every order ...sometimes when places are busy they tend to lack on quality and tend to show that there overwhelmed but she was still on point th store was clean.I placed an order and she told me about 40 min wait.. So I sat down and jst waited. She had 2 customers ahead of me and 4 more couples came in while I was there and placed orders She made sure to greet every customer that came in and she even offered me water while I was waiting in the lobby. Im happy to see there is delivery service now because I can order. My only suggestion is nutritional facts. My daughter is type 1 diabetic and needs to take insulin for the carbs it doesn't have to be on point but close enough. My girlfriend and I have been here twice so far and love it. She doesn't eat desserts because of the sugar amount but thanks to your café, she has finally found an alternative that tastes just as great! We're big fans of the cinnamon rolls, especially when they're fresh out of the oven, and your signature cheesecakes are of course another one of our favorites. I brought those and a platter of cookies back for the holidays and the funfetti protein cookies are already gone!
