After the exam they inform you that they do not take insurance for glasses. I complained, I raised my voice I did not use foul language. I did not wag my finger. I did not touch anyone. However, when I talk to MR Martin he did not call me by name. He stopped me in midsentence and advised me that he talked to his confident staff and they were doing exactly what they were supposed to do.?! He also Ibanned from the establishment. The staff had opportunity on the phone when I checked my insurance and made sure they took it, and in person to explain to me that they only took partial insurance. Without establishing any type of care, they took me in last minute on Halloween when my son scratched my literal eyeball and got me fixed up. They relieved the pain and guided me on how to care for and heal the scratch on my eyeball and they were very caring throughout the entire process!! They didn't overcharge me and they made sure it was the most pleasant experience, despite the circumstances!! I even saw someone walk in from the street with no appointment looking to get her glasses adjusted and they took her right on in, fixed her glasses, her lenses, and had her back on her way within 30 minutes!! Without any impact to the appointments they had scheduled!! Dr. Hoover genuinely gives the most comprehensive, thorough eye exam I've ever had and it was super informative!
