The examination rooms and equipment were clean and the staff was very welcoming. It was easy to schedule an appointment and I like how many options there were regarding my contacts. They had a machine that takes a photo of the interior of your eyes that was not covered through insurance that I opted out of but was asked to do as a precaution. So after paying the extra $40 for the exam it turned out everything was alright. Overall, the staff was nice, the facility was clean, and there were a lot of glasses on display. I would highly recommend coming if you need an exam done. Be aware they're going to offer the additional $40 exam that is not covered through insurance.

While some professionals will try to upsell you new frames with your new prescription, these folks agreed to use my current sunglasses frames and upgrade the lenses. I am getting new frames and lenses for my day-to-day eyewear. And keeping the old as a spare. Also, I am used to other less than professional organizations trying to sell you a higher priced frame to get bang for their buck. Not Northfield. I very clearly stated I was not interested in fancy frames and they respected that. They showed me modest cost frames and I was able to choose what I wanted very fast .
