We were in need of a particular bulb for a particular older vehicle and a friend had recommended this chain of autocrat stores and this was the most convenient location for us. The manager was training wha appeared to be a brand new employee, step by step on how to use the computer listing, find it in the store etc, while also attending his other duties. It took quite a while to get the entire process finished, more than what we had expected to be a very quick stop. But in the end we left with the correct part, at a good price and even under these circumstances it saved us far more time than having had to take it to local place we often have used in the east event for simple procedures. It had been a while since we used the do it yourself method and still glad we didi. We would go back here again if we had a similar purchase to make and repair to do for ourselves. We appreciate that with a trained employee available it would have lived up to our expectations. But everyone has to learn at some point and these days, already trained new employees are few and far between waiting for employment.

I am not going to go into details about the problem, but it required a very expensive repair. Expensive enough that I might have had to walk away from the car; the repair cost would have been about 35% of what I had paid for the car itself. While I had only had the car for 6 months and about 7,000 miles, and this kind of problem should not have occurred on the engine as it had been represented at purchase, I am not sure that the vehicle was legally under warranty for this problem. At the minimum it was possibly a gray area. I met with Kirby, who had sold me the car. We had a talk, and he ended up standing behind the car, and did the entire repair for free. I had anticipated a problem, that I would have to at least pay a large portion of the repair. I was so impressed with how Kirby handled the situation, that I offered to pay a good faith portion of the parts cost. Kirby refused the money and handled the whole repair as a warranty issue. Their waiting area is also very nice. I've been to a few of the dealerships around the Denver metro area and Fowler's waiting area is top-tier compared to other Jeep Service waiting areas.
