Horrible customers service. Almost like no one cares. Just read the reviews. Sorry I didn't before coming out here.

HORRIBLE. The food was god awful. Worst banana shake I've ever had. Fries were grease sponges. Service was way too slow. Save your money.

It was kind of early, but the breakfast options didn't sound that enticing to me, so a burger at 8:30 am it was. They had a few ordering kiosks which made it easy to choose my items. I got a double Shack Burger and a side of fries. They were out of shakes, which was fine by me. I don't frequent Shake Shack that often, but I was surprised to see they had several chicken options (chicken nuggets, sandwich, etc.) as well as the breakfast items. My order was done quickly and they called my name when it was done. It was packaged pretty well in a tray and the burger was wrapped. The bag they put the orders in are sturdy! The burger was excellent - super juicy, pretty greasy, seasoned well, and hot. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, and the cheese was melty. I really loved this burger! The fries on the other hand, were pretty bad. They weren't very fresh and kind of stale. I'd skip them next time but would definitely order another burger.

It's easy to spot as you roam the terminal weighing your meal options. Naturally one second guesses a heavy, greasy burger before a flight. But the name teases and you have to give them a shot. Ordering via the kiosk is easy but waiting for you meal amid the smells is not. Basking in the aromas only reaffirms you made a wise choice. Then your name is called and you're off to find a spot to sit (or stand, if you're me). Digging in its love at first bite! The burger is well-made, hearty, and bursting with flavor! The fries alongside are the perfect level of crinkle-cut crispy, and the cold beverage washes things down and cleanses the palate for the next round. If you're like me and you have a tough time finding the "right" spot to eat at the airport, heed my advice and give Grindhouse Killer Burgers a shot. It's not necessarily the right meal, but it's the right meal now.

There seemed to be a few restaurants scattered along the concourse, but there was also a sort of food court near the center (as is the case with the larger concourses too). This one had a pizza outlet but we opted for Grindhouse (part of a local Atlanta chain). You order from large menu screens and get a receipt with your order #. Then they eventually call you to the counter to get your food. If you want burgers, they have you covered. We ended up getting fairly small burgers and split an order of fries. Prices were high, but this is the airport so that's expected. They weren't higher than competing places here. I waited on the order while my wife scouted a table. Depending on the time of day, tables can be in short supply, so this was a good strategy. The food came out fairly soon and was good. Within the captive environment of post-security checks at the airport, this is a good option for a pre-flight meal.

It's not overwhelming, and to be honest there were so many other items on the menu I wanted to try, which is why I will be coming back. Brake Pad has a full bar & they also have a good craft beer selection and of course they have Sweetwater 420 & Hopsecutioner IPA. The items I had from the menu were the Salsa & Queso w/ chips. The salsa was great and the queso was surprisingly good. I did not have it in my bingo card that they would have great queso but they proved me wrong. For my main meal item I had the Truffle Chicken Salad Sandwich. I HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for a flavorful yet healthy option. I was only able to eat half the sandwich and I was full, so if you don't mind having more delicious Brake Pad cuisine To-Go, then I highly recommend. The atmosphere of Brake Pad was fun, vibrant, and the staff were amazing. The bartender was fun, and knowledgeable and is the one who recommended the Truffle Chicken Salad Between the vibe, the outdoor seating, the good food & the local vibe I highly recommend. I went in with low expectations but they over delivered on everything. GREAT JOB BRAKE PAD, I will be back

The atmosphere - it's sort of like a dive bar but more like the local pub where you grab tacos, a cold brew or a burger. Don't skip the tater tots! Also, breakfast and brunch are good options. Parking on the street is how it's done. A few designated spaces but around the corner is fine. Service is attentive and friendly. Refilling our cups, checking in and making sure we're good to go. Definitely worth the stop when in College Park.

We parked behind the building and a woman who worked there had the door open. She had on a shirt that read Legalize being Black. My husband had on a Black Lives Matter shirt, & I had on a Juneteenth shirt. She smiled and raised her fist at us as we asked to enter through the door and we responded in kind. I love us! She toke U.S. to grab a menu as we walked in to the right of the bar. We found a high top and found what we wanted and went to the counter to order. The prices are reasonable until you get to adding the sides. I overheard another worker tell a couple who ordered after us to order the veggie plate if they were getting 4 sides as it was cheaper. I wish the person who took our order had told use that. The entrees are à la carte and priced reasonably. The sides are $5 each with a few exceptions, a hoecake is $2 and mac & cheese and a couple other sides are $6. Keep that in mind when you come. Our total for our inside dining with a can of ginger ale, fountain Diet Coke, & tip was like $70+ & the to go order for our son's meal w/o a drink was ~$30. It's definitely a good value if you only need an entree and have sides already. The food is good and has large pieces of meat & decent portions so there you go... I ordered the fried green tomatoes as a starter, smoked beef brisket with the barbecue sauce on the side, smoked turkey cabbage, dressing, & the lemon pound cake. Ironically, the fried green tomatoes came out last. They were piping hot though. They could've used a dash of salt but that cornmeal batter was perfection on the tomatoes. You get 3 and 1 was cut a little too thick and it was slightly mushy maybe cause it had to cook longer? But it was still good. The beef brisket was good. It's sliced thin and had that good smoke flavor and was seasoned well. The thicker slices could've been a bit more tender but overall it could rival some barbecue joints. The dressing was good and so was the cabbage, though it was almost tad bit saltier than I'd like. I'd order everything I had again. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my food. You know not everyone who claims to cook southern food can do so. Oh the pound cake was good and moist. It reminds me of Sammy Chhesecake pound cake. My husband ordered the 3 pieces of fried chicken, collard greens & they do have a lil kick as the menu suggests, green beans, & yellow rice. He was pleasantly surprised with how big the pieces of chicken were. Nowadays people give you what looks like pigeon parts ‍. He said it was a tad salty. He said he also enjoyed his meal otherwise. I forgot to get pictures of the food for our son's takeout order of fried pork chops, collard greens, mac & cheese, & a hoecake. He liked his food as well but also said his pork chops, which were nice size center cut, were well seasoned, but a little too much. He enjoyed the meal and his 1st hoecake. They also do catering and seemed to have a large catering order being prepared to go out. The restaurant & woman's restroom was clean. The staff were friendly and quickly acknowledged us. The music was good but it would've been good to hear a mix of old school with the hip hop since it was Juneteenth. They have a full bar. The only thing I didn't like was Fox News & another conservative news channel on; at least not on JuneteenthZ a generic movie or TV show would've been better for me anyway. They had a steady stream of to go orders and in person dining. I guess we're just late to know about

The sweet potatoes and greens tasted like pure comfort food on a plate. The music was a little on the louder side, but it also gave the restaurant a fun, lively atmosphere. Overall, definitely a spot worth visiting if you want flavorful soul food and great hospitality.

When I saw this burger joint at ATL during my layover I figured, "How bad can it be?" It's terrific. That's the long and short of it. Terrific. The service was quick, the prices were more than reasonable, the portions were generous. And who doesn't appreciate a Fried Dill Pickle while they wait for their flight? (In full disclosure they were just a tiny bit on the oily/greasy side, but in the best possible way.) There's "Food Court" seating so finding a place for a family to sit together might be challenging, as travelers are scattered with empty seats between themselves.
