I wish I could give zero stars. This was THE WORST fast food experience I have ever had. The order speaker is completely automated so you don't get to talk to a real person. When you get to the window someone will confirm your order but somehow still mess it up. We got to the window and paid then they told is to pull up to the other side because they needed to cook the chicken for our sandwiches. We waited a good 30 minutes from the time we paid until the time our food came out. We pulled off to check our order and we were missing a burger. We pull back to the same window we were just at to get our missing burger and have to tell 3 different people why we were back. It took another 15 minutes for them to remake this burger! I've read the other reviews and I will most definitely be contacting corporate. None of the employees knew what was going on and from what I could see the other window was having problems too. The remade burger had chunks missing out of the bun and the other burger was made so sloppy that the sauce dripped everywhere. The time it took to get my food at a "fast food" restaurant was absolutely ridiculous. I do not recommend wasting your time eating here, it's more trouble than it's worth. read more

Honestly, customer service is killing this establishment. Tonight I decided I wanted to stop by Checkers to have dinner with my son (3yo) when I picked him up from daycare. I had a coupon for a BOGO a $1 for a regular chicken bites & fries box, so I ordered two. They were just dropping the chicken bites and asked me to pull round (not a problem). Upon pulling around my son sees the picnic tables and asks can we eat dinner there & I agree. Once I got our food I parked in the first parking space, closet to the picnic tables, grabbed our things and got my son out the car. Our food was yummy. Chicken bites aren't overly breaded and portion size is appropriate for the price. Mid meal a semi truck pulls up (I'm assuming the food delivery) and we're asked to move our vehicle so they can unload. I'm lugging food for two and a small child, I was not about to pack the car just to move the car and unpack the car again just to finish our meal so we just headed home. I understand business must go on but deliveries are scheduled and those spaces could have easily been blocked off to minimize the inconvenience of customers. read more

The worst spot, not even trying to be mean, I went through the drive thru order a number one with buffalo wings got to the window and the act like they lost my order lol after 7 mins waiting at the window I get my food..drive off take bite out of my burger it was cold as ice. I just got home with a $10 meal from the Checkers on Okachobee Blvd. In West Palm Beach. I was super hungry and was anxious to get get a meal of fries. Chicken nuggets. and a drink. I could not bite through any nuggets. They were all like stones. None edible. The fries were extremely hard also. After reading in here where people found bugs in their drinks, I couldn't bring myself to finish my drink. With SO MANY negative comments about poor food quality (inedible), incorrect filling of orders, rude as hell customer service (including the managers) bugs in food or drink, AND extremely long wait time HOW DOES THIS FRANCHISE STAY OPERATIONAL?? I don't think the owner nor the corporate office read these reviews. It will take a few concerned customers like myself to report them. This checkers is by far the worst fast food location I've been to. This location is barely ever busy but they still take forever and get orders wrong. Just yesterday my car was the only one at the drive through and there was another customer at the walk in window. For the time these RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL people took to ready our food 20 minutes passed and they still forgot my sandwich for my 4 for 4. If I could leave no stars I would. The manager Gerdie had an attitude while I was ordering my food in the drive-thru. Messed up my order, when I asked why my ice cream wasn't completely filled the manager urged that I get a refund for it with an attitude, I then agreed. Then I asked for ketchup and dipping sauce which the manager turned around and chunked through the car window. I then asked for an entire refund of my order which Gerdie then got a bigger attitude and rushed me out of the drive-thru line which no one else was in at the time. I am sad to say that each time there is always an issue on top of waiting at least 15 20 mins to receive my order it's never the correct order or something is always missing . I pulled up to checkers and was excited because there were no cars there. I was thinking I wouldn't have to wait 15 minutes for a cheeseburger. WRONG. I asked for a sweet tea and a checkers burger with no lettuce, tomato, onions, etc. When I pulled up to the window to wait the kid slams it shut. Good thing too because it would be a shame if I overheard the super secret conversations going on in a checker's drive thru. He hands me my drink after about 5 minutes (mind you there are no other customers) and it's a watered down root beer.... I get him to get me a sweet tea like I had asked and he confirmed the rest of my order. I guess he was knew because the checker's employee of the month Mary Jo took over. She checked the drink to make sure I wasn't lying. I could have cost the company 15 cents!! I watch as Mary Jo who hasn't said a word to me touches all of my food with her hands. Just grabbing fries out of the basket with out gloves. Great touch guys! I look in the bag and assume everything was okay. Wrong again! I get home and have a salad burger! I waited in line for 15minutes before getting to the order window and I said hello several times without a response. I thought the it wasn't working and kept going until I reached the pick-up window. The man behind the window started to yell at me that I didn't place my order and that he had told me to wait. NOT TRUE! My hearing is perfectly fine. I told him there was no sound coming thru and he said I had to listen and go thru line again. I will never go to Checkers again and all the times that I ordered for my office will also stop.
