Went to Isla & Co on Sunday for lunch and it was an excellent food experience. The chicken sandwich was a flavor bomb. The truffle fries were perfection. The coffee was delicious and exactly as I requested it. The steak was tender and juicy. I highly recommend the food. What was Not excellent was the acoustics in the dining room. The restaurant din was incredibly high. In order to have a conversation you need to sit out on the outside seating area. In South Florida 90+ degree F heat! It would not take much to install some noise reduction panels and such to help make the dining room experience more palatable for guests. Please consider doing so sooner than later. Cheers!

Catch of the day - Haddock

We had an amazing time, wonderful atmosphere, host was helpful and our waiter Cam was the best. Food was served quick hot and delicious. OG burger was on point medium rare with truffle fries(clean plate club). Catch of the day was worth it, glazed haddock over bed of rice and green beans. For drinks we ordered the Malbec it was full body and splendid. Also an Espresso martini hit the spot. Can't forget the Thai Squid appetizer delicioso. Definitely worth adding to your list of eateries when in west Palm

Fish Sando and Power Bowl

I had a nice time at my first time dining in Isla & Co. I got the fried fish sando and upgraded to truffle fries and then we also got a power bowl as a side. Both were very tasty dishes but I would have to say that the prices are costly and then once it gets time to pay there are a bunch of additional charges it makes you pay on top of tip when paying online. Gratuities are included when paying online also so don't pay a tip twice! I also really loved the decor and the ambiance! Very good looking and I really liked the area. Very good vibes.

Isla Breakfast Burrito

This was the first time I visited Isla & Co and I loved it so much. The food and coffee were so good and the staff were all friendly. Due to the weather we had to sit inside but it was still such a nice place. I think it would be a nice place to come on brunch date. I would definitely come back and check out their dinner menu and sit in the patio area. I ordered the breakfast burrito and added avocado which was delish. I also order the Aussie iced coffee which so good and would def order again

Trendy spot with good ambiance. The prices for coffees were different on their board vs in the menu by about a quarter. Good service from barista and helpful workers. Decent coffee and martini flights looked legit. Food looked average and not sure what make this place Aussie but they couldn't make the Aussie coffee because they were out of vanilla ice cream. Was told it's just coffee and ice cream which sounded like an affogato to me

I had a mixed experience here. The breakfast roll and crispy chicken sando were good, but the kangaroo tucker wasn't worth the price, in my opinion. The chili glaze on the chicken sandwich was amazing. The biggest downside was the table arrangement. They're packed very closely together, which made me feel like we were dining with strangers ( I could touch the next table with how close they were)

Happy hour menu

Another pleasant surprise hiding in plain sight. Or maybe it's not hiding or in plain sight. Either way, Isla & Co is bangin! First time visiting and off this one experience I'll be coming back plenty. The vibe is great and the atmosphere is fantastic. It fits right in with the reclaimed warehouse district. I was greeted at the entrance by "Before I Let Go" and that immediately put me in a great mood. Our waiter/bartender was also singing it which made it better. He was fantastic the whole time. The wings are labeled as "famous" and for once when a restaurant puts that I can imagine that it might be true. Amazing. The fries? Amazing. The drinks? Amazing. Well done, Isla. Whoever you are. Actually, I think there's a story about the name on one of the menus. Maybe I'll read it next time. I was too busy dancing in my seat.

Just was in area and reviews sounded good so gave it a try . Very nice , nice decor , food was good plus portions hearty . place built from previous warehouse so industrial fell snd look but very nice had lunch but heard there dinner menu is expansive and upscale seating lunch , i had a nice breakfast style egg burito and wife had a nice burger mine came with fries snd burger was with big salad i tried there virgin bloody mary wow , great spicey kick we will be back

Spectacular cocktails

If I could, I'd give Isla & Co. six stars. Great menu. Craft bar. Sides, the gauge of any great kitchen, rock the house. The herb salad with pickled onions? Standing ovation. The fish and chips? To die for. Sticky date pudding? Wow. Chicken parm? Delicious. Service is top drawer.

Great food and great service! The restaurant was nicely dimmed creating a cool and comforting ambiance. My family and I tried kangaroo and were pleasantly surprised!! The portions are a great size and the tiramisu stole the show at the end!

The ambiance here is very nice. Although it's a pretty hidden spot they have plenty of signage in the parking lot to direct you to the restaurant. We got a group of eight to play trivia on a Wednesday night but shortly after arriving (and ordering) they told us we were to the only ones who came for trivia so they weren't going to do it. I was let down and wished we could have separated our team of eight to play but they wouldn't allow it (and I get it). I got a glass of orange wine and the fries from happy hour. It was nice that for trivia they do happy hour all night. It was a good deal. Service was okay. It's like dive bar quality service and food. Our server was kind enough to let us try the orange wine before ordering. I'd come back to play trivia another time but I guess it's a hit or miss with people who come to play (or don't). You also pay the bill on your phone with a QR code. If you sign up for their point system you can get some free items. It makes splitting the bill between friends easy but the class of the restaurant suffers.

It was a Sunday afternoon and they were BUSY…read more The hostess was no where to be found for a while but finally we were able to put our names down for a table. The wait was pretty long but the bar was first come first serve so we hoped to snag a spot there instead. The restaurant itself is tight. It's long but thin and the waiting area is like nonexistent so you're basically all huddling around people's tables. Luckily we were able to get drinks while we waited and the drinks were delicious. I ordered "The Crush" which had green grapes in it. It was so refreshing and delicious!! It's been a couple of weeks since we went and I'm still thinking about how good that drink was. I forgot what my bf got to drink but he enjoyed it as well. Finally some seats opened up at the bar and we were able to sit there and I'm so glad we did. Our bartender, I believe his name was Sam, was on point. Just exceptional service from him. He was great at his job and we also really enjoyed our conversation with him. To eat we ordered the deviled eggs, the tuna tartare and the Emerald Kale Salad with Rotisserie Chicken. The salad was just so incredible we ordered one to go as well. The food is absolutely worth coming back here for, the tuna tartare was also fantastic. The deviled eggs were okay, but I'm not a good judge for them as I'm not a huge deviled eggs person. Next time we're in the area I need to come back here. So good!!!

Small, limited menu, but all items are properly executed and taste delicious!!…read more Our table ordered a bunch of things and shared them all- the dip duo (jalapeño queso and guacamole with chips), chicken meatballs, crispy chicken sandwich (homemade torta, Swiss, tomato, spicy slaw), the burger (with a side of spicy mayo), deviled eggs, shoestring fries with seasoning, and the prime rib sandwich (with Jack cheese and horseradish). My favorite items were the chicken meatballs (perfect texture, with the right amount of spicy mustard) and the prime rib sandwich (the bread was soft, steak was juicy and tender, horseradish was creamy). ALL of our dishes, however, were soooo good, and I'd order any of them a second time! Small seating area inside (just a few tables and bar seats), and they don't accept reservations, so expect to wait a little bit. The inside is dark, with warm lighting and big leather booths; you don't feel like you're in south Florida anymore, it's a northern cozy vibe. Service was nice, but didn't check in often enough (often times having to flag someone down for utensils, plates, etc). I would definitely return here for dinner!!

Buccan absolutely lived up to the hype. While in Palm Beach…read morefor a work meeting, my wife and I made it a point to dine at Buccan after seeing it consistently recommended on Yelp and by locals. After one meal here, it was easy to understand why it's considered one of the most sought-after restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is energetic and vibrant without feeling overly loud, and the service was polished, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening. The menu encourages sharing, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes. We started with the lobster aquachile, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The lobster was tender, and the bright citrus flavors paired perfectly with the avocado and vegetables. It was a refreshing and memorable way to begin the meal. Next came the beef empanada and pork taco. The empanada was rich and flavorful with perfectly cooked beef and a crisp exterior, while the pork taco packed an impressive amount of flavor into a single bite. Both were excellent examples of why Buccan has developed such a strong reputation for its small plates. One of the highlights of the evening was the squid ink orecchiette. The pasta was perfectly cooked and coated in a rich, savory sauce that brought everything together. It was one of those dishes that makes you immediately start planning your next visit. For a larger plate, I ordered the prime beef burger, which was outstanding. The beef was juicy and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the fries were perfectly crisp. It may seem unusual to order a burger at one of Palm Beach's most acclaimed restaurants, but this one absolutely deserves the attention it receives. What impressed me most about Buccan was the consistency across every dish. Nothing felt like an afterthought. From the creative seafood dishes to the comfort-food favorites, every plate was executed with care and attention to detail. Palm Beach has no shortage of excellent dining options, but Buccan stands out as a restaurant that successfully combines creativity, quality ingredients, and flawless execution. If you're visiting the area, this is a reservation worth making well in advance. Recommended: Lobster Aquachile, Beef Empanada, Pork Taco, Squid Ink Orecchiette, Prime Beef Burger, and don't skip the fries. One of the best meals we had during our trip.

Chef Conley has created a friendly and welcoming experience from curb-to-table. It starts with the complimentary valet. Finally. Finally. I learned about our regular valet: MANNY! Manny, thank you for the kindness and safe service you have given us. You are usually the first person who takes care of the Buccan Family. You create the smile before we walk in the doors of Buccan or Imoto. Thank you. Solang' (my spelling is probably wrong and I apologize): You are such a beautiful soul. Thank you for your kind words to Laura as we left. Kindness makes a difference. While kindness is free, sincerity is priceless. Wow, I haven't even chatted about the food. We tried something new this time. After our small plates, we tried the pork chop. The mild onion and sweet rhubarb---simply stunning. Even shared, we boxed some for home. I don't care if you are watching what you eat. Close your eyes! The chocolate cookies (warmed) are a must. Period. Selfishly, I hope Chef Clay never gets a tv show. A book deal is allowed. We want this local treasure and his team to remain anchored here. Clay and his team are own foodie treasure in our back yard. But wait, there's more: Honored to watch Chef Clay modestly expand the Miami environs. He will be opening his Buccan-Imoto-Buccan Sandwich Shop experience in Coral Gables sometime in June/July. OMG, we cannot wait for this to open. Though retired from the airlines (I miss my MIA overnights), we will make the trip to celebrate these new venues. However, we will do it very quietly. We do not wish to be labeled as stalkers. Probably one of my longest reviews. I love seeing hard working people succeed. What this team does for the community is simply breathtaking. This is a true success story. Thank you Buccan-Imoto-Grato-Sandwich Shop-Stokes Barn Team!!!!
