I always get incredible service here. The employees are really nice and friendly. The only thing I would say is just ask for them to repeat your order back because their drive thru speakers and mic are weird and I've had things missed but not since I've had them repeat my order. Also, always double check the order once you've got it, especially for larger orders, I've had them miss things which is why I took a star off. Don't judge a book by it's cover! Don't judge the poorly kept building, the questionable/sketchy location, nor the food quality. Believe it or not, the food was pretty decent. I decided I wanted to spend the last cool days of fall eating outside and decided to give this place a try, because it's been ages since I've last been to a Checkers and they're an outside restaurant. The fact that they haven't moved to the old McDonald's location near Potomac Mills has baffled me, but it's too late now. That spot is going to be a Starbucks. Walking up to the stand, it smelt a lot like a Fair. It was nice to smell deep fried foods and funnel cakes. For the area's standards, the staff were pretty good. They were able to recommend food and make that food well. The food was good, although, I could see the grease and "unhealthiness" of the food. I hope they can step up their cleanliness and grease control. For now, I would recommend this place to those looking to try out something different or guilty pleasure food. I don't want to say I'll be back, but, I would consider this place as one of my guilty pleasure restaurants. read more

Checkers is generally amazing (in terms of fast food) but this location is miserable. They're always out of something. The staff is not only unpleasant, but downright rude. On my last visit, for only a soft serve cone, aside from the crackly and nearly incomprehensible ordering speaker, no one ever spoke to me. She opened the window and reached an arm out for my money without turning her body or saying hi. Stood talking to coworkers holding the cone as it melted through the napkins. Then passed it out the window with the same obvious disgust, for me as the customer, as I was met with when I arrived. No receipt and no name tag. No me at this location ever again. read more

This was my first time, and last time eating at Checkers in Woodbridge. The burger was cold and undercooked. There was still pink when I bit into it. I tossed it after 2 bites. The fries are good, but oily and flimsy. The only time I'll consider eating there again, is if every single fast food establishment but Checkers shuts down. read more

Just got back from this place and ordered the chicken bites sweet and spicy box and a cheeseburger with cheese only (guy taking the order repeated it) and I get home and get a bites box with buffalo sauce and a cheeseburger with everything on it. This is not normally something i do, but this needs to be said. Everytime, and i do mean everytime, my fiance and i go here, they want to forget SOMETHING. After we find out in the parking lot that something is missing, we go up and try to get whatever they missed, and they want to give a hard time and be suspicious that were lying. Well perhaps itd be easier to not appear that were scamming them if they actually provided a receipt. So either get a staff that is proficient in their work, or start discipline. They'll probably screw up your order at the drive thru. You'll get it fast, but you'll be missing stuff, so make sure to pull over and check the bags to make sure you got everything you paid for. Also, don't order their chicken sandwiches. Sometimes they taste weird, like kinda chewy, and not crispy on the outside and soft on the inside the way chicken sandwiches should taste. But their burgers? Pretty dang good for the price. Definitely better than their competitors. Their chili cheese fries are DANK. You must order chili cheese fries. I order you to order the chili cheese fries. My brothers swear by the chicken bites, but I really love the shrimp bites myself. This was not the best experience. There are two drive thru windows. We sit at the window for several minutes before a lady rudely yells into the speaker to pull around to the second window. Now the line is longer so we decide to get out of the car and walk up to the outside window to place our order and were completely ignored. An employee walks over to the window to close it and doesn't say one word. If it were up to me this place would not get one penny from me but my daughter really wanted the fries from here. So we get back in the car and go to the second window. Next time she has a craving we will drive to the Fredericksburg location. read more

I would highly recommend this location of Checkers. When I went there recently, the food was of great quality, and made fresh. The food used to be better when this first opened - I used to love the coupons that came in the mail for 2 Hamburgers and 2 Fries for only $3. The soda now never seems to have enough carbonation. The fries are still always yummy. The drive thru is always exceptionally fast, and there is one gentleman there working the drive thru who is always incredibly courteous and friendly. On May 15th after the manager of Checkers in Woodbridge Virginia made a false police report on me because I told her to hurry the hell up after she got extremely nasty with me for asking how much longer the food would be...I went to the station and was told there is no crime in falsely summoning the police on a person...I have far more info to provide about the response and actions of corporate when I reached out to them but in short I was told by corporate they wanted to send me some coupons so to give them my address...I was sent no coupons and instead served a restraining order...The same day I for served the restraining order I got a call from Corporate who told me this was not racist because the manager Judy who falsely called the police has a black husband. This was not long before the bird watching incident in NYC and not long before George Floyd was murdered...Judy, this restaurant, and all of it's affiliates are equally guilty of disorderly conduct, racial profiling, racial or just regular slandering, and defamation. Came here for lunch break and ordered a burger with mushrooms and swiss cheese, chili cheese fries and a large drink. I am very satisfied with the food, not so much with the drink they gave me. I ordered a Dr. Pepper, they gave me a sweet tea which I found out once I got back to my job. I even ask the cashier (Jonathan) if they have Dr. Pepper and he said yes.
