Today I had to wait 30 minutes inside the store after my order promise time. And then to top it all off the guy put honey mustard on my bowl when I put a note for it on the side . I have been going to this sub shop for several years. Their subs are definitely made with quality ingredients and the location is nice. Today we went and got a couple of subs. Unfortunately they were missing the lettuce and tomatoes that we requested. I called and spoke with Alison and she could not have been nicer. If i could give less than one star i would. Its not that difficult to make subs/sandwiches, and yet i ended up with the one in this photo.. The particular employee who made this to go order would not even acknowledge me or make eye contact at the counter for me to place an order at first. So I walked to the front and tried to order with the cashier instead who was more polite but either way this sandwich was unacceptable. Customer service and the food are subpar, there are better places to get a sub from. Mikes famous philly- I asked for lettuce, light mustard, and banana peppers. One chick came in for an order on an app - we got our sandwiches first; so guess what people? Get out of the Covid funk, move the body and get into those stores.. Ordering on an app, program, DoorDash whatev - will not get you fed quicker or safer these days. Mask up. Man up! Get back into ordering your own food, instead of Amazon-ing your barbeque and liquid-fondue in a plastic cup! Get me? Jersey Mike's (I discovered) bake their own bread in the A.M. - no delivered in a batch like at a Subway etc. It's fresh in the morning: why not just get one for you and your significant other for lunch (early) at - say - 10:30? Been here 3 times now and each time one of the workers would get snippy and make a harsh remark. I mean, I'm pretty easy to get along with. Each time was one of the female staff. Very snarky. Maybe I asked for something that wasn't a part of their process? You know, a trained robot only does what they're programmed to do? I only asked for very simple things. Today, for instance, they wrapped up my cheese-steak before giving me a chance to request standard items like lettuce, onion and mayo. The girl said, "You should have told him you wanted that when you ordered." I asked if they could unwrap it and put it on. "No, we can put some in a bowl for you." Just a real crappy attitude. I just said forget it, I'll put stuff on it at home. Sandwiches are okay, but even though they are close to me, I will not ever be back. Jimmy-John's is just down the street. I am a bit surprised by the impressions of this place. Let's look at the facts. This place opened during a time when every restaurant was facing hardships. With that in mind, they still opened with ample space and a good bit of money invested (Compared to the postage stamp of a Jersey Mike's in Potomac Mills). The employees are nice enough factoring the comps. I can tell that there is caring in what needs to get done. The bread and meat are fresh and moist. The produce is fresh, as well, and doesn't give the evidence of "day old or out all day". All in all, it is a quality sub. I would recommend this place to others, they haven't really done much wrong so far, in my opinion! read more

Dont leave reviews often but I stopped in a few times lately and have ordered online twice, and every time my sandwich was great. Came in last week and there were a bunch of people getting subs they cook, I didn't mind waiting. Other customers seemed to have a problem with waiting, but the staff handled the busyness well considering how many subs they had to prepare on the grill and the lady was letting all of us know they are working on getting it out. The lady handed me my sub and said thank you for the patience during a rush, I said no problem I came in earlier today, Tuesday Jan 28, and the same lady was there with two other guys and experience was great again. They all had positive attitudes and the lady actually engaged with me and seemed happy to make my sandwich Seems like there has been some changes for the better because this staff vs. a few months ago or at least since September when I last went into this location, makes ordering enjoyable and not have me second guessing on if I should of just went down the street to eat elsewhere. We really love this particular location of Jersey Mikes. The staff is friendly and the food is always delicious! If you stay to eat your yummy food, the atmosphere is cheery and very enjoyable. Subway has the stars advertising for them but we wouldn't trade the freshness and tasty subs here for anything. read more

Great subs done Jersey style. You won't find subs this good anywhere outside of Jersey. My go to place for great Italian subs.

Customer service is sometimes lacking, however, I have never experienced any issues with staff or my sandwiches.

My kids love going to Jersey Mikes for dinner . The guys working at night are always very polite and friendly with my little ones . I was having trouble deciding what to order and the older gentleman with the tattoos made a great recommendation and it's become my favorite go to ! The two younger boys finished up the experience and even gave my girls a free cookie which was the highlight of their evening! Great service and the food bar was clean which is always a plus for me ! Wrong food two weeks in a row. When I asked for a refund they tried to equivocate. When I insisted the corporate employee there "lending a hand" told me he doesn't need the police and we could go outside. Certainly seemed like a threat when all I wanted was my refund. will not be returning to THIS store! they messed up our order today (husband picked it up) then when we discovered it was wrong he went back to have it corrected. Not only did they charge him for their mistake, the two employees (a boy and girl) were standing there cooking the sandwich and talking about him IN FRONT OF HIM!! The food is good like a typical Jersey Mike's, but they need to work on their procedure for pick up orders during this time of social distancing. I ordered online and thought they offered curbside pick up, but upon arriving I found that not only is that not the case, the sign on their door tells people to come in with a pick up order. I had to wait outside at first because they have an area blocked off that isn't large enough to adequately social distance and about 5 people were currently standing inside just waiting. I hope whomever manages this location sees my review and does something to remedy this because it really is not safe for customers or employees. read more

The sandwiches were delicious! I'm glad this location opened...especially under these circumstances. I ordered and paid with the app thinking it would be a simple pickup. After standing outside for 20+ mins I got our sandwiches . I'm not dinging them for the time, but they should just take online orders only for curbside delivery. This would prevent people from standing around (proper social distance) for a long time waiting for these delicious sandwiches. Right now you can't go inside to order etc. Use the app! Will never buy from Jersey Mikes again. The Lake Ridge store ruined it by shorting my delivery order, then not answering the phone so I could remedy the issue. Terrible management to allow piss poor customer service. I contacted the corporate office and all they did was refer me to the Lake Ridge store in Woodbridge, VA. The same store that doesn't answer their phone. The food that did arrive was gross. The steak was full of fat/gristle. In closing, this store is terrible all around, food is gross and customer service is at an all time low. I hope the owner sells soon, it can only get better with the bar set so low. read more

The worst sandwich I have ever had from Jersey Mikes! If there was some kind of supervision it would be so much better. The language in front of customers was Appalling. There were four people behind the counter Only one was working. Three of them were in uniform the one not in your form had an incredible potty mouth. I went to Lake Ridge, VA location, which opened about a week or 2 ago in my neighborhood. I had received coupons in the mail in the last 2 weeks, good for a few regular sub orders (second sub of equal or lesser value, free). Upon attempting to order through the app, I realized the app did not have a section to input the discount/promotion code. I called the store and spoke with an employee; let him know I had the 2nd sub for free coupon and that I had just placed an order for 1 sub without being able to input the coupon-- but that I'd like the 2nd sub to be the same as my 1-sub-app order. The employee transferred me over to the manager on duty for the night (Michael), who informed me they were "not taking any coupons right now." Upon asking him why that was, I was told "we weren't aware of when we would have our grand opening because of COVID-19, and you can only order through the app right now." From the customer's perspective, this is flat out false advertisement. Whether or not a restaurant's system is working or not has absolutely nothing to do with the customer who came, in person, with the coupon she had received in the mail (might I add, the coupon expires in 2 days?). I then attempted to place a second order through the app, only to receive "Insufficient time. Please try again" error message 3 times in a row. I explained this to the manager, who, by the way-- was not handing out people's pick-up orders in the order they had been received (I mean, really?). To add to the saga, 2 other customers and myself witnessed a gentleman who had come 2 orders after me handing his coupon to the employee, and the manager honoring it. This had me pretty livid as I felt this was utter discrimination (I'm Asian). When I confronted the manager, his sorry excuse for accepting that particular customer's coupon was because that customer had tried to order online and failed. Um - excuse me? I had done the same thing. The manager then flat out said "You're only getting 1 sub if you aren't paying for the 2nd sub" and going back into the restaurant while I stood, waiting to pick-up my order, still. During this time, 3 people who had come to pick-up their orders AFTER me had already received their orders and left. Shocked, I asked the manager to give me my 1 order of which I had already paid for so I could leave. By the time I left the restaurant, it was 9:00 PM. I had arrived in-person at 8:30 PM. It should not have taken any more than 10 minutes max to pick-up an order. The absurdity of the manager on duty's demeanor in handling this situation was extremely poor; he obviously is so far from being fit to run the restaurant as management. Jersey Mikes has great subs/hoagies we really like the food. That said we ordered 4 subs last night 2 large cheese steaks, a regular tuna sub and a regular turkey sub. The subs were supposed to be ready at 8pm. We arrived at around 8:02 the subs weren't ready until 8:30. For the inconvenience we were given 5 free sub gift cards which was great EXCEPT they all expired on December 31, 2020. Pretty petty. read more
