My daughters been telling me about this place so I finally went and loved it I only had a Mushroom burger but it was the best I ever had I also had a side salad which was very fresh and good. Came from louisiana to go out with a few friends. We chose to come out here to cheddars for drinks and hopefully some good food. Our waitress (yesenia) was great, very friendly and kept drinks full. Our appetizers arrived on time and also very good. We ordered the spinach dip, queso, cheese fries. They was full of flavor and highly recommended. Now for entree We all ordered the New Orleans Cajun pastas. Shrimp was rubbery way over cooked. The sauce was way to salty, bland, and to much tomato was inedible. June 24, 2016 Quick review: General managers information was exchanged Full Review: We called in early to make an reservation for 11 people. 8 adults and 3 kids. When we got there, the host said it would be around 5-10 which turned into 15-20 which is understandable for a Friday night in the summer. We were sitting however seated in a very unconducive place and asked to be moved to bigger tables and more space. I think someone didn't count to 11 and threw a seat on the short table to make 11 however the next table was very good. Our Waiter, greeted us and seemed to be a very professional and fast paced kind of guy. We all placed our drink orders and was treated with respect. Our first drink orders can back at reasonable time however the margaritas 2 people got where half liquid and half juice. Another on the rocks drink was clearly water they splash a shot in because it was very watered down. We place our food orders and again everyone was treated with respect and patience. We also asked for refills on all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at this point. These drinks probably took around 25 minutes to come back and they were from another waiter. Within the 25 minutes from placing order 2 tables of 5 and 8 sat down. They both with separate waiters and they both received drinks with refills before we did. The table of 8 actually received there appetizers at the same time we did, even with them sitting down after us. Mind you on our drink refills, 2 alcoholic drinks did not come back; and we are still waiting on them as we speak, Mid-way we asked the hold up, and the excuse given was the credit card machine reader is being rebooted so the system takes longer. This machine however does not make the food, so placing a food order in the kitchen has nothing to do with paying your bill. The food order could've placed and then credit machine reader fix in the mean time. However, running an establishment like such, this information needs to be disclosed to the customer without the customer asking. Meanwhile, Our food finally arrived after a group of 2, 5, and 8 who sat down after us got there food and this is at the hour mark from placing an order. The best part of our food arriving is that only 5 people on the table got there food while the other 6 just waited for the remaining plates. These remaining plates then proceeded 20 minutes later with the help of the night manager and a few helper waiters. When the food arrived, all but 2 where cooked how they were requested. One got chicken fried steak and was served chicken and the other a pasta which was served cold. The night manager hand delivered the remaining plates in the timing they should reach the table once ordered. At the end of it all, the food was great as Cheddar's always deliver however the service and excuses/reasons were not good. The wait time was not bad and we were able to sit down and eat and get back on the road in good time. They only negative was the noise level, however it would not stop us from going back. read more

Came in this evening (Sat) Bar was a mess. Took them 5 min to clean space at bar. Food came out with no silverware. Once food was delivered mashed potatoes were ice cold. Was never asked if everything was ok. Tension was so bad between the two bartenders it was awkward. The one bartender on service bar never acknowledged us Wiped down the bar for two other people and only waited on them and service yet she was the closest to us. I hate to give this Cheddar's location a poor review since I really love the one in my hometown. The food was good as always but the service was lacking in every way. I sat at the bar and after I ordered the bartender left her station. When she did come back, she kept to herself on the other end of the bar and I could not get her attention. I sat and waited for my receipt for way too long, I had to ask another waiter for my receipt. I didn't even get a chance to ask for water. One star might be too many. Just got back from this location with my family, and guess what? Our waiter was listless and bored and arrogant, and didn't care to properly take our orders. He brings our food out, and three of seven dishes were wrong -- my brother asked for chicken fried chicken and got steak, my other brother didn't get the sides he asked for, and my mom's order also had the wrong sides, but it also featured a NICE, CURLY, BLACK HAIR right in plain sight. Are you kidding me? Our waiter says it's not his fault, but the kitchen's -- and perhaps that's true of the hair, but as for our orders, there's no way that's not on him. He stood at the head of our table, and it was during lunch hour on graduation day so the place was packed and loud. It was obviously hard to hear, but he didn't give a shit about making sure he was hearing us correctly. And at the beginning of the meal he had such a sour look on his face. Top notch service. I spoke to his supervisor who was very kind, but we were over the whole situation at that point. My mother's meal wasn't charged, but after finding THAT HAIR in plain sight in my mother's dish, I feel like we shouldn't have been charged for anything. Our waiter insisted multiple times that any trouble we had was not his fault. I think it was our fault for choosing to go here. If you love being mistreated and having other people's hair served right into your meal, then Cheddar's on i-10 in Beaumont is the place for you. We never got to order drinks.They had plenty of staff to wait on other families that came in after us. My wife called the front after about 5 minutes and they said they would get our waitress and after waiting more time we went to the front and they couldn't help without getting the manager. Had the worst experience ever for like the third time. Waiter here did not cater to us at all!!! No refills, food and app were not coming out, but when it did it come out, it was very cold and were missing things we specifically requested. He did not write anything down and frequently came back to ask us what we ordered which was very unprofessional. He catered to some odd table next to us, most likely his friends because they all wreaked of weed and so did he. They should be glad they have the opportunity to work in times like these so cheddars should really pick people who can do there job right. I have eaten here many times. Great food, And service. As I was walking in I noticed a lady. I stopped and held both doors, she was grateful. And thanked me, followed her back she had a to go order as well. The Togo person rang her out and was showing her food, a roach was walking on the Togo bin. My husband and I stopped here for supper on a Sunday night. It was busy, but we got seated right away. I ordered the Bourbon Glazed Shrimp with a Side of Mac n' Cheese and Coleslaw. It came with a Honey Buttered Croissant which was delicious and I gobbled it right up. In the past I have eaten both the Bourbon Glazed Salmon and the Bourbon Glazed Pork Chop and loved both. But the Shrimp was on the small side, over cooked and over powered by the Bourbon Glaze. In addition, the bed of Veggie Rice that the Shrimp were presented on was swimming in the Glaze and it was so strong, I couldn't taste anything, but the Glaze. I finally gave up finishing the Rice toward the end. The Coleslaw was good and enjoyable for a standard Coleslaw, and the Mac n' Cheese was just okay. It was made with corkscrew pasta which isn't my fave and was a tad overly cheesy. I would eat there again, but order different food except make sure I get a Croissant again. read more

This place is terrible! We went in for a table of 7 and a baby. We walk in and the wait staff is just standing there and tell us to go to the back to our table. No one escorts us we don't know where our table is because it's not set up there is no more high chairs. Then they try and seat us in a private party and none of the waitstaff knows what they're doing. We were so incredibly frustrated by this point that we literally just walked out. One of the waiters was like but we have a table for you! Where because I don't see one! You need to train your waitstaff better because you're current waitstaff needs a lot of training. read more

So... another issue we had is I'm allergic to corn and ask our waitress if she would please ask someone if there was any corn in my meal. She said no. The restaurant was busy for sure, so we decided to get it to go. We had two separate orders: one for a salad and one for a bowl of soup. The server told us it should be very quick because our orders were easy. The salad took 25 minutes and the server was like "I'll go check on your soup." She leaves for about 5 minutes and returns with another server, and starts digging through the to-go area's garbage. Decent food, horrible service. While coming to town to visit my mother and sister, we decided to have lunch here. When we walked in we were ignored by the hostess who continued her conversation with a co worker. After a couple of minutes she greeted us and took us to our table. A few moments later, our waiter took our drink order then returned with the beverages. We placed our order and received our food shortly thereafter. The Dijon Chicken I ordered were flavored nicely, but the chicken was o my warm and was tough and dry, apparently cooked ahead of time and held for too long on the line. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals. We then waited for our waiter to drop the check, and waited and waited some more, never seeing him again. We asked the waitress in the station next to ours to ask our waiter for the check. She said after she took care of her table, she would look for him. 10 minutes later, after not seeing him still, we asked the hostess if she could find a check for us. She had another waiter drop the check and we paid and left. Service here definitely needs improvement. Since my sister only had an hour for lunch, she was late returning to work. I won't be back.
