The decline in presentation and quality has been precipitous in the past year. I used to have lunch and sometimes dinner in the restaurant. About 4 times each week. I knew the manager and the assistant manager as well as two servers and the hostess. And most of the bar tenders. In the last year I have ordered on DoorDash. Because I have a disability now. Today about 12:45 we went to Carrabba's. I have never had worse service at any restaurant anywhere. We we seated quickly. That's about the only thing I can say that was positive. The waitress took her time getting there. At the time there were about three other couples in the restaurant. We were prepared to order soon but no waitress. When she finally got there we told her they hadn't brought bread. After about ten minutes a young man did bring bread. We had to ask for butter. A good fifteen minutes later we got our tea and ordered an appetizer. Another fifteen minutes later we asked again. The waitress finally brought it but didn't take our order. She returned at least twenty minutes later and brought one plate. She had failed to put in the order for two. She didn't seem to remember until we reminded her that we both ordered the same thing and that we discussed the side dishes with her. My friend told her to please order her food and make it to go. She did however want dessert to eat then. It was awkward eating alone. Another fifteen minutes passed and she came back and asked if we'd decided on dessert. My friend told her she'd already ordered it and had planned to eat it while I ate my meal since she failed to serve her food. I'd finished eating some of my food having lost my appetite because it was so upsetting. Finally she brought the dessert after we were ready to leave. She also brought the soup which was to be served ahead of my meal. She packaged it to go with my friends meal. The food was good but I didn't enjoy it. The time involved was ridiculous. The fact that she brought food for one was totally absurd. She acted as if this were perfectly normal. Everything about the experience was awful. So, our mistake. We are from Houston & love love love the Carrabba's on Kirby in Houston. The OG restaurant. We walked into Carrabba's in Beaumont & could tell it may not be the same experience. We ordered Parmesan fries to start, which was mediocre and seriously fries with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on it. They did not have Shrimp Damian on their menu like the restaurant in Houston but we asked to see if the chef could make it. The waiter said he could and we got the dish that didn't look at all like it. It was just shrimp and some pasta with lemony sauce... not worth $20. Their salad was fine and we also got their peach Bellini and that was great. Overall a 3. Disappointed and wouldn't come back. read more

I have eaten at this location twice in the past few weeks and my experience has been pleasant both times. I have come during both lunch and dinner time, and the quality of food and service has been consistent. This location has a good-sized private parking lot so you should always be able to find a parking spot no matter what time it is. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly by a server who then was able to immediately seat my party of 4 and party of 2 for dinner and lunch, respectively. We were immediately given bread with oil and spices, but even though the bread was warm, you could taste that it had been sitting out for a while. Both times, my server was friendly and helpful in recommending dishes for us to get, which was a big influence in us getting the Classics Combination as an appetizer so that my group had a variety of food to choose from. For my entree, I tried the Pollo Rosa Maria with Fettucine Alfredo for dinner. I found the chicken to be too salty and the flavor of the alfredo sauce to be a bit lacking. What I got for my lunch entree during my other visit was the 7-oz Tuscan-Grilled Sirloin with Mashed Potatoes and Penne Pomodoro. The sirloin was tender and the pasta and mashed potatoes complemented the steak nicely. Both times I had also gotten the Tomato Basil soup, which had a good balance of savory and acidic flavor profiles. Overall, while I do like the ambiance of the place and how attentive my servers were, I believe the food left more to be desired. I find that their sauces all run a bit thin and is slightly too watery for me, but that's just a unfortunate personal preference, especially at the prices Carrabba's charges. read more

The food was much lower quality than it used to be. The bone-in pork chop tasted very dry and was not appealing to eat. The Alfredo with shrimp and scallops had no scallops and the sauce did not taste fresh. The service and atmosphere is decent but not worth the poor quality food. read more

Last night we had dinner for 7 people. While the service was good, the food was sub par. Some of the pasta dishes were like warm and the steak on the Johnny, which is usually fork tender, was as tough as boot leather. Definitely room for improvement in the kitchen. I could eat the caesar salad everyday for the rest of my life and be perfectly content, in all honesty I could write this entire review about it because it's genuinely my favorite salad from any restaurant. It's made with a unique house-blend sauce unlike anywhere i can find (believe me i've tried) that is to die for. The Carrabbas in Beaumont is the best Carrabbas. Period. Succulent chicken, tasty vegetables and a staple for locals.

Sadly, some meals can be hit or miss, but I really enjoy their healthy grilled salmon with the garlic spinach side dish. For a big chain, they're pretty good - and this is a good location in itself. Oh, and their dessert: Sogno Di Cioccolatta is TO DIE FOR. read more

What a great experience. We have had Carrabba's in other states. So we know with a chain it's hit & miss. Some locations are better than others. But hands down this is the best one we have been too. My hubs & I shared the Pollo Rosa Maria & our daughter had the ten oz sirloin. Austin our waiter suggested the Pollo Rosa Maria with Marsala sauce. He was right about the sauce it was delicious !
