Complementary butter croissant, which is sweet and the cheese curds

Came here on the Darden gift card, which apparently owns Olive Garden, cheddars Longhorn steak, yardhouse and some others. I started with the Wisconsin cheese, curds and ranch. I followed that up with the cheddars trio sampler which comes with chicken tenders, spinach dip, and homemade queso and chips. I like the Olive Garden and I also love the Yardhouse and cheddar scratches as I love the of those takes on the chain restaurants but not as well known and still providing quality food. They focus on comfort food (chiven biscuits and gravy type fare) and the quality is equal to cheesecake factory in my opinion. All in all the price came to over $20 bucks for Wisconsin cheese curds and the sampler platters rig tenders, spinach dip and chips and their yellow queso sauce. Usually I only want queso if it's white but I took a gamble on the yellow goo and it was tasty. The curds are also amazing

Good casual ambience great prices, great for families, Good drinks, good fast service, but very mediocre food.

    Bone-In Ribeye

First time here, I got the bone-in ribeye -- bad choice and should not be your restaurant of choice for a good steak. Second time, I got the chicken tender platter and it looks flavorful, but was very much the opposite. The service was amazing both times I went, but the food was always lacking and you could very much tell that they don't season anything. Wouldn't recommend, for the cost of bland food.

HORRIBLE experience. Raw cheeseburger sent back, told would be comped and it was but then recharged further down on the receipt. Assistant manager when confronted, got upset and threatened to call the police that I and my 78-year-old mother where dine and dash customers, after cancelling the charge but stated she couldn't re-comp the burger again. When pressed about this issue, she crumpled up a piece of paper she was holding threw it on the counter turned and walked away saying "goodbye." Observed several of the wait staff, on their cell phones as if just hanging out. Very few customers. Just an all-around appalling experience. DO NOT recommend. Additional info: Pictures of the second burger that I took as a carry-out

My daughter wanted some chicken fingers, so we decided to stop here for lunch. They gave us free butter crossaints and I had a house salad. we shared cheese curds as an appetizer and I had the monte cristo which I loved and my daughter enjoyed her chicken fingers.

Good food, great service... all at a reasonable price. Nothing more to say! Oh... they have a 2 or 3 pairing deal for lunch too.

Usually busy. Looks fancy, but it's really not. Great bang for your buck. It is a chain but I enjoy it and I'll be back.

Good food at reasonable prices. Would like to see less wait time. Bit there is a reason for the wait. Nice atmosphere inside.

Why did Cheddars drop the Spasgna from the menu? It was a one of a kind dish and my absolute favorite. What would it take to bring it back?

Please bring it back! It was my favorite, too. SPASAGNA

I was originally going to give less than 4 stars but I think the manager handled it appropriately…read moreso kudos to him! My waiter Austin was very professional and was on top of our drinks and so on. The restaurant was clean and looks like any other Longhorn! But..... My filet mignon was WAY under cooked. I asked for medium and I got rare. I don't mind a medium rare but that's it for me. Again the waiter and manager both took care of it! Would I go back though? Probably not. At least not for a long time. When you go to a steakhouse you expect that your steak is going to be cooked to how you requested it. The baked potato was fantastic!!!!

Table for 5... no wait at 5pm... well that was after the interesting woman at the front of the line…read moreasked for a table for 11 and was told there would be a 2 hour wait. She left... she didn't leave in a huff but she did arrive with an attitude which she took it with her when she left... probably a good thing for all. It's not always easy to find a table for a big party like that at the last minute on a Sunday. Rolls to kick things off... always good. Steak all around for us... well, chicken and fries for the small one in the group... the steak was supposed to be slightly pink on the inside - nope. The salad usually comes first and then the dinner - nope... half way through eating the dinner, the salad arrived with an apology and comment that we probably still didn't want it... but we accepted the salads anyway. I do like a good salad. And then we tasted the tardy salads... perhaps it was a new salad maker that was anxious about putting toooooo much salt in the salad - it can happen, right! Maybe that's why it was delayed. Their anxiousness was well founded... there was waaaay tooo much salt for a Caesar salad that should have been all about balanced ingredients, even when it comes already made to the restaurant. We've eaten at many Longhorn Steakhouses over the years, sadly this was a swing and a miss restaurant experience tonight for this Longhorn Steakhouse. It happens, right?!
