I love sandwiches, especially grilled cheese. I'm also a big fan of buffalo sauce. This restaurant is in a cool area with a couple other shops and restaurants. It was clean inside and the person taking my order was cheerful. You order at the counter then are given a numbered table marker and they bring your food to your table. I asked for the picked carrots and celery on the side because celery isn't usually my thing but it works perfectly with this sandwich. The bread was not greasy and toasted to just the right level of crunchiness on the outside. The sandwich was adequately cheesy and I felt like they nailed the ratio of cheese, chicken, bread, and sauce. I almost ordered another sandwich to take home (I live over an hour away at the moment) but didn't and I regret it. The portion size was bigger than I expected for $12. Some might find it expensive but I might be used to prices from bigger or more touristy cities so I thought it was a good value. The menu had a variety of interesting grilled cheese sandwiches and I saw they have a special Thanksgiving type sandwich so I'll definitely be going back soon. Update-- I got the Leftovers sandwich. I wish it had roasted turkey or even chicken instead of deli meat. The other flavors on the sandwich were delicious! The cold cuts just felt a bit too slimy for this type of hot sandwich. I got a Buffalo Baby to go and asked for the slaw on the side, just like I'd had it on my first visit but it was included on the sandwich anyhow. First time here. Ordered the Hoss Sandwich. Paid $14.00 for it when it came out I was excited. Looked like a big sandwich and it was. Upon first bite I noticed that the bacon tasted burnt. After the second bite the sandwich seemed very dry and bland. I decided not to eat anymore of it because I was not happy with spending the money on a sandwich I couldn't eat. I just pushed it away. I was drinking a bottle ice tea. I decided I wanted water and went to the counter to get a cup. When I asked for a cup the cashier asked me how my sandwich was. I the proceeded to tell her the bacon tasted burnt, I my was dry and very bland. She asked me if I was kidding and I said no that I'm being honest that it was probably one of the worst sandwiches I've ever eaten and that the sandwiches at Publix and Jersey Mikes are better. All she could say was "I'm sorry"! I was honestly expecting for her to say what can I do to make it better, offer to add some sauce to the sandwich or if anything to ask if I wanted to try a different sandwich in which I would've have declined because I was already pissed about the first one. I definitely would've take a refund and given back the sandwich with two bites taken out if it. I guess it all depends when you go and your tastes. For me, this place is pretty great but I was the only one here when I walked in on a Saturday night. Service was good, was a little disappointed they only have their Cheesesteaks on Wednesday at this location but wound up with the Stallion and it absolutely did not disappoint. But what also sucks is that Cheese Smith posted a video of this person on their social media. Okay this place is amazing. I was watching a food network show last night and the Cheesesmith was mentioned. It had been years since I tried the food truck so I swung by after an evening run. I ordered the Buffalo Baby and a side of Brussel sprouts. The sprouts are some of the best I think I've ever had. They're coated in Parmesan and have a chili oil (?) finish with a bit of heat. Arrived 8 minutes after they opened on their grand opening day and there was already a line outside. If the line is super long, don't think about trying to crowd inside to stay in the shade, because they will tell you you will have to wait outside (in the hot sun). At least they passed around paper menus while people were waiting in line. They are located in the Cargo District across Salt and Charm and have their own parking lot behind them. It's not very big inside, but there are 4 outdoor bench table seatings. It was very busy inside and loud but at least they had Post Malone playing overhead to keep me entertained. The hanging wall vases in the bathroom were cute. There is a changing diaper station in the bathroom. The menu has a total of six grilled cheese styles that they have had before including the addition of KimCheese (to my knowledge I haven't seen it before). Sides are watermelon slices, their signature french fries with new additions of beer cheese and an option of making it more of an entree with pulled pork. Desserts were salted caramel banana pudding and key lime pie. We ordered the Buffalo Baby ($12) and KimCheese ($10) grilled cheese sandwiches, a side of beer cheese fries with green onions ($9), and the salted caramel banana pudding ($5). The sandwiches come on their usual about 5"x6" thick sliced bread. My partner enjoyed the Buffalo Baby. I thought it was okay, not that spicy. The KimCheese wasn't as good as I was expecting. The kimchi was bland. I missed the typical spicy Korean red pepper and tangy taste. On the menu it says KimCheese comes with American cheese, so I was expecting the yellow American cheese, but it was the white American cheese. The yellow American cheese would have paired better. The beer cheese fries were decent. You can taste the hint of beer in the melted cheese. With the fries, we could only finish about half of our grilled cheese sandwiches. The salted caramel banana pudding was great. I wished there was more salted caramel. Next visit, I'll stick with the OG. That never fails. read more
