I've been seeing Zeke's all over social media and was excited to finally try it, especially since a portion of their profits goes toward childhood cancer. Their tagline is "Eat with Purpose," so I was happy to support them. The restaurant is inside Tide's Taproom which was a nice relaxed atmosphere with tons of space/tables, games and is kid-friendly. Ordering was easy with the QR code for both food and drinks. The staff was incredibly friendly and I sampled a few beers at the bar before deciding what to order. Our food came out pretty quickly and the staff member checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the double smash burger, fries, sweet potato fries, and cheese curds. Everything was really tasty! The cheese curds were square, which was different for me being from Wisco but they were still delicious. We had fun with the pool tables inside and basketball outside. It was such a great spot for our groups to hangout and have good food/drinks. Definitely worth checking out! read more

I like to consider myself a smash burger extraordinaire and this is hands down the best smash burger i've ever had! Brit was our bartender and was so pleasant to talk to & has great suggestions! The space is huge, has indoor and outdoor seating. Everyone was super friendly & it was very clean. I took my bestie back 1 weeks later (we live 1.5 hours away) and he is celiac, they have a dedicated fryer so he was able to eat the fries & they had a decent GF bun. Pretty low-key at a late lunch hour, but even when crowded, the open bays and large fans should keep it pretty comfortable. Zeke Smash is in the same building as Tide's tap room. Parked in their small parking lot. Plenty of high chairs and indoor tables. There's a QR code on the tables (currently on Tide's) to scan for the menu. The bar at Tide's has a hard copy of the menu so I placed my order there. Chatted with the nice Tide's tapper room's owner, who is the brother of Zeke Smash's owner. Ate a double smash beef burger with everything except jalapeños, a side of large hand cut fries, and a brookie (brownie and cookie, made in-house). (Veggie burger is not made in-house). I liked everything except the brookie and maybe that's because the date on the brookie said 11/2. Assuming that's the date it was made, that means it was five days old. So as you can imagine, it tasted a bit stale. To give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was an error and they missed that. The burger at $12 is a little pricey, but, it was very filling and part of the sale goes to childhood cancer charities, so I can't complain. The burger was on a regular soft bun like the simple ones from the store. If it is a to-go order, better eat it quick before it gets too soggy, unless you ask for the condiments on the side. The burger meat was seasoned very nicely, which was the best part of the burger. Fries were slightly crispy, good flavor with just salt and pepper. I went on a whim for lunch since I was in the area this past week. The double smash burger was absolutely the best that I have ever had! The meat was high quality, grilled perfectly...crispy on the outside with an inch or two hanging out of the bun all around! The fries were great as well, but that burger was the star of the show. Food: it's a Smashburger joint get the double! They even have a fried chicken and grilled chicken option. If your calorie cautious, you can even not have the bun. Food was amazing! Staff: the staff was welcoming, courteous, and very informative when we had questions. Beverages: there is an array of nonalcoholic and adult beverages to be had. A great selection of local beers and cocktails of your choice. Overall, a great space to hang out with some gaming options like board games, plenty of dice games, TVs to watch games on and dartboards! During our particular visit, there was actually somebody there who was causing a little bit of a ruckus. I have to tell you the staff, I believe she was one of the main bartenders handled herself so well. The customer was not backing down and was complaining about it being a Smashburger... I'm fortunate to live in neighborhood with walking distance food, beverage and entertainment venues. I met a friend at Zeke's to give it a try. I had looked over the menu- while simple? There's something for everyone- kids, vegetarians, salad forward- all good. No alcohol but easy enough to get to go and walk over to Fermental across the street- kids and dog friendly. We chose to eat in. I got a single beef patty- add on Oklahoma style (onions smashed in as part of the cooking process). Standard requests- cheese and mustard with add on sautéed mushroom. Hand cut fries included. I chose old school catsup for dipping I ordered at the counter- paid and tipped generously up front- it's tough out there and my trust was not misplaced. Service was excellent- friendly and attentive with multiple staff members wanting our feedback- without being overly hovering. We got cheerful refills on beverages and condiments. The burger and fries were delicious! I would return for the food alone. But- this business has a heart and a backstory involving donating to charity- and? Outstanding friendly, competent service. Sidebar. I'd had facial surgery- MOHS squamous cells removal. I had small bandages and a black eye. To anyone? I looked like a domestic violence survivor. But. Not a stare or comment.
