I came here after a day at the beach when I wanted some pasta. It's a cute little restaurant near the boardwalk. They give free warm bread. It was so soft and delicious. I loved it with the dipping oil. I wanted to keep eating the bread, but had to save room for the pasta. Their pasta is made fresh in-house. I had the cheese wheel pasta and added chicken. The pasta was so good. Next time, I want to try the mushroom alfredo pasta. There are a few metered parking spaces outside next to the church.

Definitely service can be improved. Not a big fan of this pasta after I tried it. Sauce was not enough and chicken was frozen and not fresh. I saw this place on google have a high star review then I decided to try it with my 6 year old son. I ordered a white sauce Fettuccine with chicken and mushrooms on top. My second order was tomato sauce linguine with chicken topping. After I paid around $45 , I got my order number 190. It was my first time ordering from there so I stand by the door and wait for my order. After about 10-15 minutes, the guy came to me and handed to me my order. Of course I will get them , and he show me where I can pick up my folk and seasoning. There was no seating available ( it's only about 10 seats there with couple long tables) we walked to the beach bench to sit. After I opened my first white sauce fettuccine, I saw no toppings ( chickens and mushroom at all, just plain noodle). I was thinking it's ok to not have the missing chicken. However, my second order was wrong too! ( I got tomato sauce with ravioli on the bottom). I went back to the store with my second order, I told the woman ( I believe it's the owner) that they made my order wrong. I just need to switch the second order. The women was so angry and rude taking to me and saying I took the wrong order. I was like. WT*. The guy handed to me and didn't repeat the order number. They didn't even check the ticket that was the right person. ( it was a tiny number ticket that they handed out after you pay. After all this , she blamed on me taking the wrong order! I didn't even walk to the table and grab the order. She told me I took the order number 191. My actual number was 190. Why would they gave out 191 before 190? She didn't even apologize of what they did wrong and blamed on customers taking the wrong order! What a customer service nowadays! I guess they had long day making pasta. During that time, my folk was inside the tomato sauce ravioli and the women told me she won't take back the order and ask me just tak the wrong order to leave. The tomato sauce was covering on top of the ravioli, if I didn't use folk , how can I see them ? ? I don't even like the order. So I asked to switch to different noodle. After she asked me to tak the box with tomato sauce Fettuccine with chicken in it. I just tak it. I can't believe this store has such a high review with such bad customer service here. They don't know how to handle the situation and messed up with the orders. I'm not happy of what I got! Both of my orders were wrong. The tomato sauce fettuccine with chicken I got at the end was so disgusting. I definitely will not recommend my friends and family going there. Food is decent and not so great. They are kinda pricy too with just 2 pasta and costs over $45. Such Bad experiences!

This review is for the dine-in location at 218 Baltimore Ave. I was craving Italian food, and the idea of fresh pasta made in a cheese wheel sounded amazing. We arrived around 6 PM on a Wednesday, and the place was pretty full. It's a small but nicely decorated spot. Just a heads-up: there aren't any large tables, so they push smaller ones together for bigger groups. The seating along the walls is built-in wooden benches. It works, but it's not the most comfortable. We were a party of three. There were a couple of 2-person tables open, but since one party had just gotten their check, we waited for them to leave instead of making the staff rearrange tables. Once they left, the table was cleaned quickly, and we were seated right away. The staff was very friendly. The menu is small, just two pages for dinner and one for breakfast. They bring a carafe of ice water to the table, which was fine since that's all I wanted. I didn't ask about other drinks, but the only ones listed were coffee options on the breakfast side. They also brought out a bread basket with olive oil and herbs. The oil was a bit bland. A place near my home does a similar thing, but with much more flavor. I assume it comes down to the herbs they use. For dinner, I had the cheese wheel pasta with shrimp, my mom had it with chicken, and my brother went with plain spaghetti and marinara. We all enjoyed our meals with no complaints about the food. Overall, it was a good experience. I'd go back, but I might try the takeout location next time

Really enjoyed the food here both for dinner last night and breakfast this morning! The flow of the restaurant layout doesn't allow for a hostess stand and there are 2 entrances so it can be a little confusing for the wait. We had a 20-25ish wait time with the line wrapped around the building but the food was worth the wait! Only a few of the dishes are not made in the cheese wheel, but having tried both those made in the wheel and outside, we enjoyed both! Breakfast is also great (and a much better alternative than eating at the overpriced Dough Roller next door). The toasts are more like paninis but theyre really good!! Service was prompt once we were seated and the place was nearly empty in the morning so seating wasn't an issue at all, but this place does seem understaffed unfortunately! We keep telling everyone all about this place, we'll definitely be back!!

The food is delicious!!! I love the menu, too! The waitresses and waiters are very polite and they do very well at their job. Cheese Wheel Pasta from the inside ambiance is a very quiet and small place with lots of decorative pictures and images. If you are down in Ocean City Maryland, this is the place to go! Homemade pasta and a wheel of cheese is on your way!

Food and service top notch!!! Every year we come to ocean city and as we are driving out I say, we didn't try the cheese wheel. This year, our first stop was at the cheese wheel. In a town full of restaurants, you should definitely try to stop for some good old fashion pasta(homemade and fresh made). As I was eating it, I was picturing an old nonna in the kitchen cooking... absolutely the best Italian food I've had in a long time. When in OC and you need a break from all the blue crab, you must stop . You will not regret it. Oh...and I forgot to mention the bread.... Warm and soft with a crusty outer crust. Amazing !!!

Cheese Wheel Pasta is a food stand on the OCMD boardwalk. It's a small space that's very popular around mealtimes, so get there early. They only have three dedicated tables, so best to take it to go. So what is it? There's a big cheese wheel (from what I could gather, a pecoromano). All the pastas are placed in the wheel and sauteed in front of you before being prepared in one of a handful of ways. If you like cheese on your pasta, the Cheese Wheel is for you. By preparing it this way, there's extra cheese with every bite. Your choices are alfredo, alla vodka, meat sauce, pesto, or tomato sauce. The menu is small, but I think it works. Base price for each entree is only $9.95, so it's very affordable compared to today's market. So we ordered: Fettucini with alfredo and broccoli ($12.95) Linguini with meat sauce ($14.95) Penne alla Vodka ($9.95) Linguini with tomato sauce and meatballs ($13.95) It was great to share these dishes with everyone in our family and we'll definitely be back here for a reasonably priced unique culinary experience. They do offer focaccia bread and ravioli, but we didn't try it.

Waited around 10 minutes to sit & they were quick to give out food. Very good food & quick Service, definitely recommend!

Hidden Gem on the boardwalk. Owners are super sweet and customer service is on point. Everything is handmade and made to order. Enjoyed watching the pasta being tossed in the cheese wheel. The focaccia is absolutely delicious!! My whole order was delicious!

Usually, when we want something to grab and go, pasta is never on our minds as we usually think of pizza, tacos, and burgers. But this place makes you consider pasta in the same league. The spaghetti tastes different and yummy. The owner mentioned that they source everything from italy. It's put on a big pecorino cheese and then add sauce to it. I asked for pesto sauce and it was great. It's great meal for one person and you don't have save it for the next meal. It's worth the 10$.

This place was cute little upscale pizzaria feel. I scoped out the menu and review prior and was excited to try. We got there right before the rush so there was no wait. Surprising because it was the air show Saturday evening . We started with the bread and dipping of course it was delicious only the first basket is complimentary. Additional baskets Cost 1.50 not bad. We started with the baked meatball appetizer it was amazing ! Everyone in our party got an Alfredo either chicken or shrimp. The shrimp were JUMBO. I got the sausage ala Vodka and added mushrooms. It was a hit. The only con was they did not have any type of soft drink which for me was fine but some in my party would have liked it. They have water and tea. I will definitely be returning to try the other yummy menu items I didn't get to try . The second best thing next to the taste was the price. Great service and Affordable dining in a nice location.

Food was fast but the chicken seemed to be frozen strips not grilled. The sauce was not very good at all and pasta was all stuck together.

The Greek salad and Margherita pizza is our go to, but we have had their cheesesteak subs, lasagna, and their various assortments of desserts. Ripieno's special-brew chai iced tea is something else that has always kept us coming back. That is until today. While the pizza and salad were still very good, they weren't as outstanding as they have been in the past. Customer service is not the same as it once was. When we ordered the chai tea, this evening, no orange and lemon slices were offered. As we were dining outside, I walked in to ask if they had orange and lemon slices for the iced-tea available. The cashier first seemed as though he didn't see me, and then when i caught his attention and asked about the slices of orange and lemon for the tea, he looked at me as if he didn't not know what I was talking about. I looked at the girl behind the counter that walked over with the salad dressing that had not been delivered with our salads and asked her about the fruit. She looked confused as well and said they didn't have any. The iced-tea on its own is very good, but the slices of orange and lemon really make it great! Back to the food...when our pizza was brought to the table, the gentleman that delivered it, (I think he may have been attending the wood-fire oven) threw our paper plates on the table. Next came the Greek salads. We were short two sets of silverware which was noticed by the second server. She said she would return with silverware, but didn't. So, I went back inside and asked for the two sets of silverware we needed. I was asked if I wanted plastic. I responded that I would prefer metal silverware. The girl disappeared and returned several minutes later with the silverware. I realize it is the busy season, but the restaurant was not busy. We've been during the busy season and in the off season and have always had wonderful experiences. I am truly hoping that this was a one-time thing, and that Ripieno's will return to the same familiar place we used to love to go.

My daughter thought it was just okay, but compared to what followed, it was fine. They even give you a nice-size house salad for the table to share. I was actually pretty pleased here... up to that point. Then the entrees came and all four were plain dreadful. Anything with red sauce was painful to eat. Thick and pasty, like someone dumped out a can of tomato paste, then did nothing else to it. Meat sauce, eggplant Parm, mussels in sauce... all had us cringing and just eating enough to have some sustenance so we could proceed with the rest of our evening. My daughter's scampi was also sickening to eat. The tang, the garlic... it was like random amounts of ingredients were tossed together without any love, tasting, or adjusting by a chef. I believe this location is closing soon and the family is moving elsewhere. Maybe they once cared and don't anymore. If you have any sense of moderately decent Italian food, I suggest avoiding this place. Just have another night of boardwalk food.
