We reached Ocean City in the evening and were looking for a casual spot right by the beach to hang out and catch the sunset. This place was perfect! We ordered the Margherita pizza and the Brother Pasta (everything but chicken) -- both were tasty. I also ordered Long Island Iced Tea. service was quick, and the beach view made it even better. They also had a photographer going around taking family photos, and they gave us a free postcard print, with the option to buy more. I came in shortly before 4:00 PM. I hadn't eaten anything all day yet so I was very hungry. On the menu it didn't specify different sizes so I confirmed with the waitress. She said they only have one size, 12 inches. If you get a 12" cheese pizza it costs $18.50. I wanted pepperoni so that was an additional $2.99. I thought this is really overpriced but I was hungry so I just decided to go with it. A bit later the pizza came out. I couldn't believe what I saw. This pizza looked like a train wreck. It came out with pizza sauce on top of the cheese on some parts of the pizza. This looked more like abstract art than pizza. Not only that, this was the sloppiest looking pizza I had ever seen. I can't believe that somebody would make something like this and have it presented to someone. I would be really embarrassed if I made something that came out looking like that. What was the purpose of this extra sauce on top of the cheese? That was a first. That's not how it's supposed to be. After a while, I wondered, "could it be that the additional pizza sauce was covering up something?" So, I scraped away some of it and I noticed shredded mozzarella cheese not fully cooked hiding underneath all of that sauce. Nothing like cutting corners and giving your own customers overpriced crap-food just to make things easier for yourself huh? See the picture of the slice. I just don't understand how somebody could cook something like that, have it served to their customers and not be embarrassed by it. The crust wasn't good either. You can tell just by looking at it. In terms of quality, this pizza is one step above a $hit sandwich. How can you screw up a pizza? Maybe this guy isn't cut out to be a pizza maker or maybe it's simply above his pay grade. The pasta comes with either soup or salad, so I tried the soup of the day: chicken noodle. The bowl was only filed halfway, and the broth was almost a gel-like consistency. I stopped by yesterday to get a takeout pizza. Because it's just a few days before Christmas, this was one of the few restaurants open on the boardwalk. I ordered a cheese pizza and paid extra for pepperoni, so the total came to $20. After 15 minutes, I stopped by and asked about my order. The person making the pizzas said "I got the order" and started making my pizza right then. It was ready in another 10 minutes. The pizza was small- 6 small pieces that made a normal meal for two people. Considering the price it wasn't worth it. I am a pizza fanatic on a mission to find the best pizza joints whenever I travel. This pizza is delicious! My only criticism is that I prefer the small pepperonis that curl when baked; they use larger pepperonis here, which are still good but feel more generic. The crust is flavorful and stands on its own--nice and thin, just how I like it. It's evenly cooked with fresh -well-melted mozzarella cheese, and the amount of cheese is perfect. The crust is nicely browned, and the sauce is spicy and tangy, with fresh herbs enhancing the flavor. The service was outstanding, friendly, not over solicitous, but attentive. The atomosphere is beautiful! Situated on the vibrant boardwalk of Ocean City, Maryland they have indoor and out door seating. We dined out on the deck. The waitress was NOT BUSY when i got there, (7:20pm) but was already talking to me about how if they were not busy, they started closing at 8:30. Ummm...ok. The menu said that all sandwiches were served with chips, with an upcharge of 1.99 for fries. I didn't order a sandwich, i ordered a chicken quesadilla, which was as much or more than most of the sandwiches. I asked her if it came with chips. No, ma'am. I asked if i could order a side of fries... no ma'am, we only have the $10 basket. I said no thanks. The quesadilla was dry, and not hot. I ordered a vodka and sprite. It came in the size glass you would serve soda or tea in... it had one shot, if that, of liquor. Weak and not good. My waitress checked on me once... One time. I had to flag her down for more water and then again for my check. It is now 9:00, they're busier than they were when i got here and they're definitely NOT closing at 8:30. I was a waitress and a bartender for years. I understand all the dynamics. No reason for the horrible service I received tonight... And the food was mediocre at best. BTW, i heard someone ask her how long she worked here... she said 2 years. They said, do you like it? She literally said NO. we can see that... And i agree..i don't like it here either.. They flavors were mediocre and they charged me for replacing a topping (one meat with another) without telling us. I probably would not be back again. As if that wasn't bad enough, the chips that came with it were soft and stale, like they'd been left open for days. How hard is it to serve fresh chips with a sandwich? The service was quick and courteous. The server was responsive and personable. The restaurant is clean, neat, and had several televisions as the bar, which also looked well stocked and clean. The prices are outrageous considering the quality of the food. One of our party ordered a pizza which was fresh and very good. This is clearly their forte and is what I would recommend. Other orders were a fried chicken sandwich, spaghetti with meatballs, baked ziti, and the Brother's pasta. All of the pasta was cold and everything seems to have been warmed up in a microwave. Brother's Bistro is located on the Ocean City Boardwalk near 14th street. The offer Italian cuisine with a full bar. They have outdoor and indoor seating. The food quality and beach is great as well as the service. My only concern is that they charge a service fee for credit cards. While I understand it is posted on their menu, who reads every detail on a menu. Moreover, the server or bartender should mention it out of courtesy. What can I say about Brother's Bistro? The only thing positive is the view. My husband and I are from New York and we were looking for a decent pizza in the boardwalk as we were tired from the day's festivities. The pizza doesn't even deserve to be called a pizza. It tasted like a kids frozen pizza but even lesser, more like paper with no flavor on the sauce. After finishing the "pizza", a guy just came to our table, didn't say anything and just got the metal pizza stand AND was taken away just to be given to the next table!!! If only I could give this place a zero out of 5, I would but I have to select one star to write this review. Will never come back and please stay away from this restaurant. Enjoyed a delicious dinner here. The dinner started well with our server Adina taking our order. It then went to terrible when my companion was served her dinner but I was not. Adina asked how our food was and when she saw i had no food immediately went to the kitchen to find out the reason. Turns out the order machine hit a snafu and my order was never processed. Adina went to work getting my dinner made even the busboy from Nepal (sorry I never got his name) went to the kitchen to find out the problem. We spent the weekend in Ocean City for a cheer competition. We had a large party and decided to go out for Italian. The Food was ok, but after receiving the bill we noticed they added a $66 service fee. That was a 20% fee added on to of the 3.5% credit card fee. 18% was automatically added for gratuity due to our party size. It would have been nice to let us know that they would charge us a service fee upfront. I am all about supporting mom and pops, but not when they screw you. We parked next to brother's with the plan to eat at another restaurant nearby. I'm so glad we didn't! I have a broken ankle and my mother is in a wheelchair with oxygen. We also had two lively kiddos with us. We saw the ramp and decided to give it a try. The hostesses were great and seated us right away and explained they didn't have any inside tables if we were ok with eating outside given the possible storm. Within a few minutes they came over and offered us a table inside that they were able to clear. They were genuinely trying to accommodate us given our needs and the storm. The waitress made a solid recommendation of the Bros pasta and was very attentive and kind. The noise level was elevated but I believe that was due to them bringing everyone inside and finding them tables. Once the storm passed it quieted down. The staff was motivated and genuinely wanted to please. Hands down one of my best restaurant experiences in quite awhile in OC. read more

You can tell they were frozen then deep fried, regular is dry with no sauce; hot & BBQ is just a regular wings with sauce on top. Dip on the side of ranch of Bleu cheese. Onion rings were good, thick battered, not thick rings. Came with ranch on the side. Drinks were good, they have a jumbo margarita with two Coronas in it. We also got the bucket of rum, solid choice. Prices were reasonable, drinks weren't bad. I wouldn't come here for a regular meal, I feel the quality isn't there for a regular sit down restaurant experience. Very friendly service in a super convenient location! But... "Brick Oven Pizza" was what drew us inside. After we ordered we looked over to the far side of the restaurant and there it was... a gas powered flame in an open oven, and so, no brick oven taste and a rather small and disappointing pizza. There is a very large drink menu, but they didn't have many of the items listed on the menu. All of the other food we ordered was frozen and fried or reheated. I can't speak on the pasta dishes but nothing here seems to be house-made or fresh. There are better options nearby, so we won't be back. I suppose in a pinch it's "good enough" as a fellow Yelper reported, but you're also going to be paying a bit much for settling on a meal. read more

Good solid food. I had the 2 2 2. 2 fresh eggs cooked over easy the right way plus 2 bacon and 2 pancakes. Enjoyed my meal. This nutty irishman decided to supplement it with the "Nutty Irishman" coffee with 2 liqueurs to sit and enjoy the boardwalk and ocean. Service was attentive and friendly. Of particular note is the hostess who is positioned on the boardwalk to draw diners in. She is very charming and full of smiles. They are lucky to have her.
