We reached Ocean City in the evening and were looking for a casual spot right by the beach to hang out and catch the sunset. This place was perfect! We ordered the Margherita pizza and the Brother Pasta (everything but chicken) -- both were tasty. I also ordered Long Island Iced Tea. service was quick, and the beach view made it even better. They also had a photographer going around taking family photos, and they gave us a free postcard print, with the option to buy more. Overall, a great place to relax, eat, and enjoy the view!

    Pizza Train Wreck

I came in shortly before 4:00 PM. I hadn't eaten anything all day yet so I was very hungry. On the menu it didn't specify different sizes so I confirmed with the waitress. She said they only have one size, 12 inches. If you get a 12" cheese pizza it costs $18.50. I wanted pepperoni so that was an additional $2.99. I thought this is really overpriced but I was hungry so I just decided to go with it. A bit later the pizza came out. I couldn't believe what I saw. This pizza looked like a train wreck. It came out with pizza sauce on top of the cheese on some parts of the pizza. This looked more like abstract art than pizza. Not only that, this was the sloppiest looking pizza I had ever seen. I can't believe that somebody would make something like this and have it presented to someone. I would be really embarrassed if I made something that came out looking like that. What was the purpose of this extra sauce on top of the cheese? That was a first. That's not how it's supposed to be. After a while, I wondered, "could it be that the additional pizza sauce was covering up something?" So, I scraped away some of it and I noticed shredded mozzarella cheese not fully cooked hiding underneath all of that sauce. Nothing like cutting corners and giving your own customers overpriced crap-food just to make things easier for yourself huh? See the picture of the slice. I just don't understand how somebody could cook something like that, have it served to their customers and not be embarrassed by it. The crust wasn't good either. You can tell just by looking at it. In terms of quality, this pizza is one step above a $hit sandwich. How can you screw up a pizza? Maybe this guy isn't cut out to be a pizza maker or maybe it's simply above his pay grade. I should have read all these reviews before I tried this place. I don't know this place manages to stay in business. I spent $27.42 for a 12" pepperoni pizza and 1 Dr. Pepper.

To the right is the carbonara to the left or the onions I removed

I had the spaghetti carbonara, they cut whole onions with bacon. I just got back from Italy. Did I say anymore? The garlic bread thumbs down Caesar salad was so basic wasn't worth it Services OK, not great waiting for refill 10 minutes . We're sitting outside. It's pretty cold so the places nice but chilly.

Good sized bar, full service, TV's (NHL Playoffs were on) Staff were great. Side note, whomever was in charge of the playlist knew his or her assignment- well done. Very much an old Italian restaurant feel. Staff was extremely nice and attentive. And heads up the meal will arrive quickly. So do what we did. Order a drink and an appetizer then main course when ready. Portions are very generous. We had ample leftovers- see the pictures- for dinner tomorrow when we get back home.and the pricing were reasonable. The bread is crispy, fresh and warm. So to the food. All the portions are large. Calamari as an appetizer- ohhhh So good. Very light and crispy, not dense or big clumps of calamari. Sauce was spot on. Slight pepper taste to it. They had a special tonight- ossobuco (pork shank) tomato sauce and gnocchi which the mrs had- and so did four others near us. The pork was so tender and fell off the bone, very very good. I was highly encouraged to have the chicken parm. Not sure how the hell they found a chicken that big for the portion I received. Outstanding. Lightly breaded, juicy, very nice sauce and goobs of cheesy goodness.. how any human could eat this in one sitting is beyond me. We have amble leftovers for tomorrow. Mrs got cannolis to go. Pizza made on the spot.. we will be back and this spot is highly recommended.. I found the prices reasonable and better than other offerings in the area. They close at 9 so keep that in mind..

We were able to get a table right away and were excited, because right when you walked in, the restaurant smelled like an authentic, amazing Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, our pizza came out about 20 minutes before the rest of the entrees. Additionally, the waitress said she did not have time to bring us bread and that it would come with the pastas. When we asked for no onions on the salad, we were told it was premade. And most disappointingly, the chicken we got as a side was not cooked. The waitress did not charge us for it but her attitude was very rude. I would definitely go back for pizza and would maybe consider carryout. Having a waitress or waiter that is hospitable and welcoming really can add to or ruin an experience. I'm confident that my experience is not typical because of how busy the restaurant was and always is.

We ordered our food and sat at a table waiting. It's a busy place with a lot of food options. Orders are placed, paid for and picked up at the register. Ordered an antipasto which was large enough for 2 (or eat it for 2 meals). Dressing was a herbaceous fresh vinegrette with fresh greens, red and green peppers, olives beautiful swirls of meats and cheese all piled high. SO ordered a steak sandwich which also was enjoyed as a second meal. Parking can be problematic, staff were very good, food was very good. Tucked in west Ocean City in a unassuming area, there is a small parking lot- which we were able to snag a parking spot. We made a reservation for 8:45 and walked in around 8:35. It took a few minutes but we were quickly sat. Nice lighting, dark accents and an intimate feel - I liked the decor immediately. For an appetizer we got the burrata which came with crostini and tomatoes. The tomatoes were yellow and the burrata was standard - a nice compilation of the necessary ingredients for a strong start. I also added a cup of cream of crab soup which was good but was lukewarm. For my meal I ordered the chicken parmigiana. Let me start by saying it was good and the rigatoni that came with it was al dente and good as well. But there was little to no sauce on the chicken. It was basically just a cutlet with some sauce garnish. The chicken had a nice fry to it and the seasoning was good - it just reminded me of commercialized Italian like you would get at an Olive Garden. Not saying that's a terrible thing - just wasn't the homemade feel I like in Italian. They were out of a lot of desserts so I settled on tiramisu which was very good. You wouldn't think Italian at the beach but this is a nice place off the beaten path in west o. Give it a shot.

We arrived around 6 PM on a Wednesday, and the place was pretty full. It's a small but nicely decorated spot. Just a heads-up: there aren't any large tables, so they push smaller ones together for bigger groups. The seating along the walls is built-in wooden benches. It works, but it's not the most comfortable. We were a party of three. There were a couple of 2-person tables open, but since one party had just gotten their check, we waited for them to leave instead of making the staff rearrange tables. Once they left, the table was cleaned quickly, and we were seated right away. The staff was very friendly. The menu is small, just two pages for dinner and one for breakfast. They bring a carafe of ice water to the table, which was fine since that's all I wanted. I didn't ask about other drinks, but the only ones listed were coffee options on the breakfast side. They also brought out a bread basket with olive oil and herbs. The oil was a bit bland. A place near my home does a similar thing, but with much more flavor. I assume it comes down to the herbs they use. For dinner, I had the cheese wheel pasta with shrimp, my mom had it with chicken, and my brother went with plain spaghetti and marinara. We all enjoyed our meals with no complaints about the food. Overall, it was a good experience. I'd go back, but I might try the takeout location next time
