I opted a plate dinner - it comes with rice, meat and 2 sides. The lechon asado looked good with the roasted crispy skin. I was not sure how they plate the lechon asado as in how much you get. They do not speak english much but they try to understand you and what you want. So when she was slicing up the lechon asado - She kept asking i guess if the portion was ok - I was afraid that if I kept asking more meat they might up charge my $13.99 plate. However, I am a stranger to Venezuelan food, and it's these types of restaurants that offer fare that you just won't find outside of Florida, at least that I've seen. Oh, and I don't come to Florida very often. I order this off of GrubHub, and for one of the very rare times, I don't even care about the extra fees I had to pay to enjoy this food. So I'll tell you what I am familiar with, chicharrones. But these are completely different style compared to what I'm used to. Out in parts of Texas They have chicharrones tacos which are phenom, but you don't find anything even remotely close to that where I live. That being said I ordered a chicharrones "cone" and even had some on my main platter. IN-SANE! Like seriously, what have I been eating all of my life? Whatever kind of black bean stuff they gave me is phenomenal. I ordered the Pabellon Venezolanao.
