My friends and I were super obnoxious and loud and asking ridiculous questions and he seemed to have fun right along with us. Also, and maybe this should have come first, but his food was also absolutely amazing. He worked with my husband for almost two months coming up with a menu that I would love...and I did. Wow. The first course of a salad was amazing and it just got better from there to the pesto pasta, the shrimp dish, the steak and then two desserts! We were absolutely stuffed. I asked if he could fashion a sushi roll making class for 12 people, ages 7 - 80, with both experienced home cooks and total novices, adults, children and teens. Chef was delightful! His organization and preparation of everything needed for the adventure was first rate. Organized, meticulous, friendly, helpful - Chef listened to my requests and made it all happen. We made three difference sushi rolls, and everyone could prepare their rolls as they wished, i.e. lots of avocado rolls for the kids and spicy tuna and salmon for the adults. All the accoutrements were available to individualize as desired. We had a great time and the results, our dinner, were fantastic. Chef couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. One of the best comments was from my 16 year old granddaughter who remarked, "This was way more fun than I expected!" And the 7 year old was able to make her own rolls with very little help. I hired Daniella to help with recovery after a surgery that required a special diet. She made my…read morerecovery as painless as it could be, and I credit her nutritious food with helping me heal faster. Before the surgery, I sent her my doctor-provided list of foods I could and couldn't eat along with my personal preferences. She immediately created a rough template for 3 meals a day, plus snacks. Each morning, she brought my food for the day, and at night after I had finished it all, we would talk or text so that I could give her any feedback. She would adjust the next day's meals, and we did the same process each day for about 10 days. Her food was delicious, made with quality ingredients and packed well. But just as important, she was so easy to work with and, frankly, so accommodating to my smallest feedback. She was also always so quick to respond. Literally, I could text her, see the Read notification, then see her typing within seconds. This happened most of the time. I don't think I ever had to wait more than 10 minutes to get a response. Amazing! Truly, the only thing I looked forward to each day was her food - it was that good! When I was in pain and depressed, that little happiness each day made all the difference to me. There were some dark days during those 10 days of recovery, but I'll always remember her and her food with fondness.
