This has been one of the best buffet experiences I've had in a long time. Everything I tried was fresh and cooked well. The buffets were clean and hot. The dining area was clean and our waitress was very attentive. There are plenty of exotic choices such as sea food, chicken feet and frog legs as well as American and ordinary choices for the squeamish. I tried the curry chicken, tempera veggies, rice noodles, pepper chicken, chicken on a stick (very moist and tender), green beans, spring roll, buttered potatoes and sugared half moon doughnuts. We came here after reading some good reviews however today it did not live up to what others had said. The sushi was just ok the Dragon roll was the best on the bar. However they were out of a lot of sushi and had to ask them to make more. Was a little worried about them making it because behind the sushi bar a team member was cleaning something and had water ever where. No of the other dishes had any flavor. They only would put out a cluster of crab legs like every 15 min it seemed and they got taken really quick so only got 3 crab legs. The service was awful.. Pretty goof for a buffett. They don't speak much English and I have had problems in the past with stale or old food on the buffett.

This buffet use to be amazing, we use to go on weekends for the crab legs. But in the past few years is gone seriously downhill. The food is always lukewarm and old tasting. The sushi is not fresh and the crab legs are waterlogged. If I could give them less than a one I would. We went there for my Mother's Birthday. The food was awful. We couldn't have picked a worst place to eat for her Birthday. It was fifthteen of us and everybody agreed that the food was horrible. The Manager was extremely rude. We will NEVER go back there again and I don't recommend it to no one. Best buffet around if you enjoy Asian food. The sushi is the best available. The only sushi you can find that is better will be at an outstanding sushi bar. The new hibachi grill is the icing on the cake. The Dalton location was sub-par on the one occasion I went there, but that was about 5 years ago. It may have gotten better or worse since then. The Chattanooga/East Ridge location is outstanding. I am addicted to their hibachi and sushi. I eat there weekly, sometimes two or three times in a week. I go there so often that they gave me some unique chopsticks for my birthday a few years back. Very nice staff. read more

We tried and WILL NOT GO BACK. Food was COLD. The selection was varied and looked good. But looks can be deceiving. How does a person mess up crab rangoon? It was during the dinner rush (6p.m. on Saturday night) so I expected a few hiccups. But WOW!!! The crab legs were old and they only bought a few at a time. I actually watched a gentleman fix a plate and eat it standing at the bar while waiting for crab legs. He stared at the kitchen the whole time. Manager said nothing to him and must have walked past him a dozen times. Now, the sushi/fresh seafood bar. OMG!!! The fresh oysters were slimy and opaque, not clear as they should be. The oysters, mussels and peel and eat shrimp were all just dumped into a tray of ice. No regards for cross-comtination prevention. The sushi looked good. Many varieties were available. But the white fish was dry and curled up on the edges. The salmon was grey, not pinkish orange. The tuna smelled like dishwater, not the sea. We were taking bets as to which one of us would end up at the E.C. before the weekend was over. I is saying a lot when my teenage son wanted to leave and go to McDonalds. He HATES McDonalds!! We brought out of town guests to Chef Lin and it was a mistake. Sticky chairs, lukewarm food, and a Susi bar was not well stocked and the men behind the bar were rude. Most of the food was sub part along with the crab legs. I wish the owners would clean the place up and realize the people dinning there do care about the quality of the food. read more

This has always been a favorite for me and my family. With three teenagers, a buffet is almost always a MUST. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the bacon wrapped scallops and crab legs, and they do make a pretty good egg drop soup. I also like that they are usually always trying to improve somehow or another. I didn't know they had any other besides the one in East Ridge, so that's the only one I can speak for. read more

I paid extra on Sunday evening so I could enjoy crab legs...I never got any...In the hour we were there, they brought out one tray...And it only had about 20 snow crab legs on it...No crawdads either...The restrooms are nasty!..Someone brought their DOG in the restaurant. I brought it to the staffs attention. The dog was not a service dog. They permitted the man and his dog to stay! The man brought his dog up to the buffet lines!!!!!...I hope the food inspector comes in soon! This place needs to be shut down!...I hope the manager responds to my review! It's my favorite Chinese buffet in Chattanooga because its sushi. I would say that its sushi is the best compared to other Chinese buffet in the area. The dinner buffet is also the cheapest in the area. The fruit is pretty good as well. read more

When the family wants crab legs & shrimp this use to be our go to place. Walked in Monday night, no crab legs on the bar now, you have to pay over $10.00 for the buffet + $4.00 a lb. for crab legs. Not only did the price go up for the buffet, but its minus crab legs. Egg rolls were cold, the kids only eat watermelon & jello for dessert, we waited for them to refill the watermelon, never did, the same 4 sad pieces still their when we left. This isn't the first time we've been disappointed, but it will be our last. When a business starts changing their quality of food is usually when it goes down hill. read more

This was the worst dining experience we ever had. After a long day of Christmas shopping and taking care of our three year old grandson, we decided to head into this place for a buffet style dinner. With a three year old it's usually the preferred method of dining since kids are not the best at waiting for a meal to be prepared. Let me explain that when we go to a buffet we don't have the expectation that the meal will be a fine dining experience. We do however expect a level of food quality, cleanliness, and respect befitting of paying patrons. AND we expect that whatever the establishment chooses to put on their buffet is relatively fresh and replenished when empty. This buffet failed on every expectation we had. 1. The food was of poor quality. The chicken was rubbery or cuts that were more fat or gristle than meat. The pork and one beef dish were so hard that they couldn't be enjoyed at all. None of the dishes had any taste. Just how hard or expensive is it to put some spice in the dishes? 2. The buffet itself was marginally clean. The floors and bathrooms were sickening. 3. The service was reasonably attentive, but very unfriendly. There is not much worse than trying to work down a bad meal while being looked over by someone making you feel uncomfortable. 4. The crab legs were not refilled while we were there, but looking at the folks next to us that had gotten some we chose not to ask for a refill. They couldn't eat the ones they had gotten and that seemed like they were making the right choice. There were about a dozen shrimp with no ice. We totally passed on that. The stir fry dishes with the exception of two looked hours old. There was absolutely no desert out. My wife was bold enough to ask. She was immediately drilled with questions about what she wanted! She showed the entire portion of the buffet that was void of the deserts and the person huffed at her! Five minutes later a few pieces of stale cake (un-eatable) were brought out. Shortly afterwards the $29 bill was brought out. That's two adult and a three year old buffets; all of us drank water. Make your own choice about going here, but we now know that this buffet is no longer on our list of places to go. If the Hamilton Co Health Inspector decides to make a visit you might not need to worry about making a choice because I think this one would be shut down. read more

We have eaten at Chef Lin's many times but never again. Very disappointing on our last visit. The food was not fresh and the smell of the carpet and dining area was awful. They brag on being the best Chinese in Chattanooga, well they need to put some of that money in redecorating the place. read more
